I've heard from people that he constantly shows up (or not at all) wreaking of alcohol... My golden had to go to the Er because he cut waaay to close under my furry baby's ears and he developed a really bad infection- the owner never even bothered to pay the bill! My baby was in the guy's care-- any dog groomers should flip the bill for them being dumb and not paying attention to what they were doing! He caused the problem- he should've at least give us a free groom. Never again! He's kinda freaky to be around- he had to DRAG my dog into the back room, I felt so horrible for leaving him...

Tish came out to my house for a prescreening to get the key and meet my two cats and is obviously an animal lover. Even the scaredy one was induced to come out and say hi which is unusual for her. Since then she has always been available been when needed though I do try to give her plenty of warning. Her rates are better than average when compared to other sitting services in the area. But most importantly, I got exactly the same amount of whining from my two cats as I did when a friend would come out and feed them. From the very first the cats suffered zero trauma or angst from Tish as a sitter, and cat owners know how temperamental their animals can be. From the first time she sat, they accepted her as an acceptable substitute for feeding and attention. Tish is great. I highly recommend her.

I was greeted upon entering the shop. That is uncommon, 1st class service! Both Sophie and Ashley were pleasant and acknowledged my dog and I asking how could they help. My dogs have received training and grooming at competitive prices. Sara is a gem! On short notice, I was fortunate to have Cooper's nails cut. He doesn't get nervous anymore. Sara has a way with him. I'm grateful to everyone there because they genuinely love dogs and are devoted to caring for our beloved pets. Kudos.

I had adopted a troubled seven- or eight-year-old German Shepherd out of the Shelter who'd been in…read morethere, in solitary, for fourteen weeks. I knew Hudson was going to be a challenge, but I didn't know just what form that would take. We bonded very quickly but Hudson just wasn't "getting it" -- he'd incessantly pull on the leash, freak out seeing other dogs out on walks, and I absolutely could not leave him home alone if I wanted to come home to plants still alive in the window. His issues were intense dog reactivity and extreme separation anxiety. He'd apparently been abused and, with the scars on his back legs, perhaps even attacked by other dogs in the past. He'd had a rough go of it, but I soon learned that his heart was sweet & benevolent, and that he absolutely did not deserve what he'd been through. He deserved to be safe & happy. Having worked with Judi out at Great Dog many years prior, my good, old friend Andy recommended her to me, and off we went. Judi could tell from watching Hudson and I approach that very first day that we needed help -- we were "all over the road" as it were -- but she fully committed to helping us. Judi is a special person. She most definitely "gets it" and can intuit what's really going on -- with dogs especially, but also with their *people*. We did many training exercises directly with Hudson, but I soon realized that *I* was the one who really needed the training. We started seeing Judi -- and often her amazing partners Ethan and Abbie -- every Saturday morning over many weeks. It didn't take long for Hudson to get really excited when we'd start our weekly drive up to Northgate, and he always enjoyed going (and always got lots of treats!). We would do many different training exercises with Hudson but we'd also have "classroom time", where we'd discuss the Why and the How. The results of these conversations would often surprise me later with their impact on Hudson's behavior, and how they were slowly changing him, and me, over time. We were making progress. Judi has strong opinions about dogs going back over twenty years, but she can back each and every one of those up with reason and logic. I always greatly admired her ability to communicate with dogs as well as people, and to explain, and I soon saw the wisdom of whatever she was trying to tell me. Judi is gentle and focused and knows what works, but perhaps more importantly, she knows what *doesn't*. Judi and everyone else I met out at Great Dog was naturally empathetic, competent, loved dogs, and really wanted to help. The *energy* at Great Dog is great for dogs, and for people. Good things happen there. Judi and Abbie and Ethan each helped and taught us, and their lessons and guidance continue to improve Hudson's and my life each & every day. For any dog owner who really wants to learn, and listen, and make the life of their dog as great as it can be, then Great Dog is the place for them.

If you're looking for someone who genuinely loves dogs and will care for them as well as the owners does, I highly recommend Ann Marie. The experience goes well beyond just boarding a dog. Right before our Memorial Weekend trip, one of our three Shelties developed pancreatitis and needed to be hospitalized. Our local Everett Banfield said that he would need to brought in daily for at least three days to get IV fluids. This couldn't have happened at the worst possible time: the day before our flight out and our drop-off at Ann Marie's. We tried to get him a room at the Woodinville PetSmart Pet Hotel since there was a Banfield in the same PetSmart--HOWEVER--the PetSmart Pet Hotel does not take sick animals, even if they will be treated for most of the day in the same PetSmart's Banfield. Despite my pleas the Pet Hotel insisted on their policy. Desperate, my wife and I contact Ann Marie to see what could be done. We worked with her and the closest Banfield to her Pet Au Pair, and without hesitation Ann Marie agreed to bring our poor dog to and from the Aurora Banifield to get IV fluid treatment for his pancreatitis...then back to Ann Marie's Pet Au Pair to sleep in comfort surrounded by his two sisters. This goes ABOVE AND BEYOND any kind of care you could get from any Pet Boarding facility...and without the kindness and dedication of Ann Marie, we shudder to think what would have become of our poor Sheltie. For owners finding themselves in a similar situation as ours, I can't promise the same service we received from Ann Marie...BUT from reading other reviews I can strongly purport that you and your beloved pets will be more than welcome at her Pet Au Pair...and that she will care your sick children to the best of her ability so long as you are able to get the professional care for them as required. Trust. Care. Love. That's what Ann Marie's Pet Au Pair is all about. You can't find anyone better.

Einat, the owner, is very responsive and clearly cares about both her customers and her employees--and it shows in the quality of their service. Charlie typically had the same walkers at the same time each week. They were all professional, caring, attentive, and TRUE dog lovers! I loved Strut the Pup's daily walk reports and photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing he was being well taken care of while I was at work. On a few occasions when I was working from home, I watched as his regular walker arrived--Charlie would be waiting at the window and greeted them with full-body wags every time. When Charlie's hips started bothering him as he got older, the team helped me adjust his walks so he could continue enjoying his outdoor adventures. Sadly, Charlie has since passed, but I've saved many of the walk-report photos his walkers took (like this one), and they remain some of my favorite pictures of him. Thank you, Einat and team, for taking such wonderful care of Charlie.
