What an amazing experience. Night and day compared to the typical licensing/DMV-style places, which I think most of us can agree are usually... not great. I called to ask if they could mail my tabs since I couldn't make it in before closing. They said no, but added that if I was just a few minutes late and they were still around (sometimes until about 5:30 while closing up), I could knock on the window and they'd let me in to pick up my online tabs. That alone was pretty great. I hustled and got there at 5:05. The front door was locked and they were wrapping up with their last customers, but just like they promised, the folks at the desk pointed me to another door and let me in to grab my tabs. Even more refreshing: when I walked in, the atmosphere was genuinely warm. People were chatting, in good spirits, and there was music playing. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to pick up your tabs. I'll definitely be back next year. read more

Eternally kind staffer Juanita & hair-afire Jewel (the Boss-Lady-in-Pink) in this actually-care office, voluntarily escalated my situation. Juanita alerted Jewel who, amazed and insistent, called the RPZ office. She hung up in a rude staffer there before finding Lisa; arguing the sheer unfairness of the situation, she is getting results! Finally a vehicle Licensing office in the West Seattle area to replace the operator on California Ave shut down due to credit card theft. This Licensing office seems well run and has friendly staff. If you're in the West Seattle area, vehicle licensing locations are few and far between. That said, Seattle Auto Licensing is a great experience for being the lone branch in the area. I walked in an hour before closing on a Monday, yet Sarah was extremely patient in walking me through my first-ever experience in licensing a vehicle. Kudos to them! read more

Martina was nice enough to pull a staff member from the back of the office and one from the front to do the witnessing. This review is for Tisa (i hope i spelled that correctly) Anywho, I have had to come here on 4 separate occasions, through no fault of anyone here. So, I have dealt with most of the people that work there. The first time i encountered Tisa she was very nice and friendly so when i had to come back, i secretly kept hoping i would end up going to her. She is the only one that seems happy to be working there. I totally understand customer service, i know it's hard to deal with certain people. But, every time i have been there Tisa was nice to all her customers. (Even if they weren't matching her energy) the second time i encountered Tisa, i was having a bad day. But talking to her it turned my mood around. People love to complain when the customer service was terrible. I love the compliment when i have a good customer experience. read more

The Caucasian female with tattoos uses her place of employment as a daycare, her teenage daughter was sitting in a chair behind her. In addition to that, she answered her personal cell phone, not exaggerating here... probably 5 times in the 15 minutes I was there. It sounded like her other children were having drama with school authorities? In addition to that, she couldn't even put brand new license tab stickers on the license plate straight... Guess why? Because she only had operation of one hand, the other hand was holding up her personal cell phone to her ear! On top of all of that... they charge a credit card processing fee, that could be normal, who knows? Anyways, hopefully the owner of this unprofessional daycare vehicle license office handles this promptly. What a joke! read more
