The BEST FOOD! It was a very rainy evening and we looked up good food close to our apartment. SO GLAD that we came here. As reviewed, the salmon is mouth-watering!! Fresh veggies, beautifully prepared meals and homemade bread. I had the pumpkin coconut soup and it was perfect for a chilly evening. A must try read more

Seasons Restaurant features a Chef's Menu in which you pick a Starter, Main, and Dessert. Each selection has about 3 to 5 options. During a recent visit I had the Creamy Corn Soup, Risotto with Courgette Flowers, and Crème Brulee. The Soup was creamy with tender shredded briny crab and soft diced avocado. The Risotto was creamy and mixed with tender veggies and topped with a Courgette Flower in crisp tempura and filled with tangy goat cheese. Finally, the Crème Brulee was cool and creamy with a crisp layer of caramelized sugar on top. Overall, this was an enjoyable dinner experience. read more

We've enjoyed two dinners at Seasons. One in 2024 and the other in September of 2025. We like the menu of Asian flavors mixed with continental dishes. Last year I had the Miso salmon. This year I had BBQ spare ribs. Would order them again. My wife had the Hot Shrimp over noodles both times. The wine list was varied. Wife had the Gruner Veltliner and I had their Chilean red that was on special. Both were excellent choices. If I had to say something negative, it would be that in two years, the menu had barely changed. And the Shrimp Tempura was purchased, they should be doing their own tempura batter. read more

We were the only customers on a rainy Thursday evening. It was quiet and awkward. I ordered a spinach salad and tempura shrimp. The salad was perfect fresh and flavorful. The shrimp was just fried frozen shrimp not tempura batter at all. My daughter ordered a tuna salad which was disgusting canned tuna on top of lettuce. The appetizer was good the cream brûlée was ok. Waitress was kind and attentive. I was just shocked at the ratings considering our experience. read more

Delightful! The pre fix was a lovely option and the service was so friendly and nice. Apparently only UberBlack can drive to the door, something to know. While we enjoyed everything, the Belgian waffle banana foster style dessert was incredible. Large portions were served despite the pre fix arrangement. read more

This was quite a treat - very eclectic food, somewhat Asian in flavors but in a very fresh and new way. There was avocado, crab and corn soup (probably the reason we decided on this one, we were very curious about it). There was Lamb Chops, perfectly prepared, Chicken Tikka Masala, Salmon, plus desserts were good. Very interesting cuisine. read more

Good food and nice ambiance. The corn soup was amazing, and all other food was satisfactory.

Saw on a travel blog that Seasons does an early bird special where it's buy 1 get 1, so I went to check it out. I can confirm, they are no longer doing the BOGO. Regardless, since we were already here, we decided to stay and order dinner. We ordered their lamb chops, teriyaki beef, corn soups, and 2 desserts. Everything was delicious and is a solid dinner place. read more

Came here on a rainy summer night made reservations of course because you never know. Place wasn't super packed but nice crowd. My meal wasn't anything fancy but my other two friends meals were fantastic. One was a salad with strawberry dressing the other got a Indian dish both really enjoyed it. Will come back here when I return next summer read more

Everything was extremely bland and without any taste. The "fire shrimp" was 3 pieces of shrimp with a side of a dipping sauce. Seeing the anchovies on my plate of salad was just too much, even for a foodie like me. Kraft makes better pasta. The steak I didn't even both trying. Horrible, never again! read more

After reading a lot of good reviews on Yelp and Tripadvisor for this spot, I decided to make a reservation here for dinner on a Saturday night. It is located in a cute area near Jordaan, with a bunch of nice restaurants and shops. When we came here around 8:30, it was pretty empty while most other places were filled. We were seated right away and the waitress was attentive. The interior didn't not have a particularly great decor. The menu either had a 2 or 3 course menu option where you can choose from a few appetizers, entrees and desserts, or you can order a la carte. We chose and 2 and 3 course menus. The menu was pretty strange with dishes from a bunch of cuisines. For appetizers, we got the asparagus soup and the dutch pea soup. Both were pretty good but nothing too special. For my entree I ordered the traditional Dutch beef stew. The beef was very tender and tasty, but it was served with some either steamed or boiled vegetables that were in some sauce, which I did not enjoy. They also came with some fries that were nothing special. My mom ordered their miso salmon which was cooked well and she enjoyed. We then got a waffle that came with fried bananas and caramel, which was a little too sweet for us. Overall, I was pretty disappointed by this spot after having read so many good reviews. The food wasn't anything special and neither was the experience. read more

We found on Yelp and went in because of good reviews. We both had the salmon which was delicious. My husband had the fried shrimp appetizer which was a little heavy so not my favorite. We had their Apple pie for desert which we both loved! Our service was somewhat compromised by a huge party that came in just after us. I would go there again for sure! read more

Amazing food- great taste and good price. Service- someone ordered frites but half our group (and our server) heard rice. They brought rice and when we noted the situation they quickly also brought frites. Ambiance- good and calm. Highly recommend. This Japanese-Dutch fusion restaurant. read more

My husband and I stumbled upon this as we walked back from a canal tour. And we are so happy we did! Our waitress was lovely. The food was outstanding! Both my husband and I eat gluten-free and there were many options available. They were clearly marked, which made it much easier for us. There was a robust wine list. I chose a Pinot Blanc from the Alsace region to accompany my spinach salad and miso salmon entrée. The price point was nice for such a lovely meal. The location is beautiful and tucked around the corner from the busyness of the Centraal neighborhood. A quiet spot to enjoy a beautiful meal. read more

This restaurant was recommended to me by a shopkeeper in the Jordaan. My meal was absolutely delicious! Asparagus soup - very fresh and yummy; hot. I also had the chicken masala which was extremely flavorful and the serving size was generous. Quaint interior, very cozy and intimate (outdoor seating as well), great service and reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant!! read more

We were late for our reservation but they had plenty of tables on a Thursday night. The "fish of the day" was Dutch shrimp with sea coral (I.e. Seaweed) and the waiter with glasses got mad at us when we kept asking what the fish was and when we pointed out that shrimp was not a fish so that's why we kept asking (we were dining with a native Dutch). That waiter got mad so they switched and the other waiter was really nice. I had miso "glaze" salmon with black garlic. I didn't see any black garlic. The miso glaze looked like clumpy peanut sauce that painted my salmon brown. The taste was two dimensional. The fig salad appetizer was too hot. I probably would not come back. read more

This delicious restaurant is located on the cozy Herenstraat, and there are a number of cool ships in the area. They serve seasonal dishes cooked with fresh and delicious ingredients. Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. Food: 4/5 I highly recommend the scallops 3 ways: pesto, garlic and pistachio, it was super delicious and we really enjoyed it. The sauces were very original and flavorful, and I thought the garlic paired really well with the scallops. One of my friends had the beef carpaccio and also liked it. My friends had the surf & turf and chicken tiki masala. Those dishes looked really good, and their steak was cooked perfectly as requested. I ordered the asparagus flamande and regretted it. The vegetables were very fresh, but it wasn't as filling. We ordered tea and coffee and it came with a yummy morsel - passion fruit mousse. The sourness of the fruit balanced the sweetness of the mousse and it was a match made in heaven. Overall, delicious food made with seasonal ingredients. Service: 5/5 It has been a very long time since I've had service that met my American standard, and this was amazing service that surpassed that! The staff checked on us several times, answered all our questions, and even *gasp* asked us how our meal was!!! Atmosphere: 4/5 It is a small homey restaurant and it does get a lot of tourist traffic, but there are obvious regulars here. A very intimate restaurant, great for meeting and bonding with friends or a lovely dinner with a special someone. Value: 5/5 We came here early and took advantage of the 2 for 1 special. Go to their website for more details, but if you make a reservation for the late afternoon 2 people can enjoy the 2 course menu (28 euros) and only pay the price of 1. (Buy 1 get 1 free), so it comes out to 14 euros!!! SUPER GOEDKOOP!!! read more

I had made reservations for the prix fixe menu here which is basically a 2 course meal (appetizer/entrée or entrée/dessert) that you buy one, get one free. All I have to say is that I am so happy we didn't pay full price for this sub-par meal. The a la carte prices were not cheap and the food was not good. My boyfriend and I shared: Fire Shrimp (garlic shrimp, basil mashed potatoes, creamy sambal sauce, crouton) Deconstructed Caesar Salad (a crisp romaine lettuce salad with anchovy dressing, slices of fresh Parmesan, crispy bacon, and garlic croutons with your choice of a carpaccio of craved lax) Summer Pasta with Blistered Cherry Tomatoes (fresh summer vegetables, cherry tomatoes, garlic, with curly pasta and Parmesan) Bistro Steak and Onion Rings pan-seared fillet steaks a bistro sauce of peppercorns and mustard with buttermilk onion rings) Everything was extremely bland. The "fire shrimp" was 3 pieces of shrimp with a side of a dipping sauce. Seeing the anchovies on my plate of salad was just too much, even for a foodie like me. Kraft makes better pasta. The steak I didn't even both trying. Needless to say we did not bother getting dessert here. read more

After an exhausting night of flying and a full day, we were wandering looking for a restaurant close to our B and B that looked cute. Seasons caught our eye immediately and the menu matched with just what we were looking for. The venue is small but thankfully we were lucky enough to snag a table. All the servers were outgoing, knowledgeable, prompt and friendly. The menu was explained to us - my husband ordered the 3 course prix fixe while I ordered a la carte. The pea soup was a meal in itself. Hearty with chunks of bacon, sausage and carrots. On a cold afternoon I would crave that with a chunk of French bread. But.... that was just a starter. The strawberry, blackberry and avocado salad was so fresh and the dressing made it even more amazing. Loved the salmon/mushroom dish which was served with a miso dressing over rice. And, the dessert could well be the best ever. A Belgium waffle, hot, with bananas foster, ice cream and a dish of caramel. I thought of taking a picture, however, after one bite we couldn't stop. Just take my word for it ..... wow. I told my husband that it was too bad that we had to find the perfect restaurant on the first night. That means we may not try another restaurant in Amsterdam! read more

Seriously, a gem. What a find... Saw other reviews of it here, and kept passing till my 18 year old very savvy daughter insisted this was the place we should have dinner. She was right. Exceptional - a starter composed of 'Pear Pecorino Aubergine and Walnut Salad' - a warm delight that I would never have thought of as a combination and I'm a serious foodie. Fantastic. Nothing failed, we had delightful main courses, the wine list in small but carefully and well chosen and the staff, on our night, Miloud and Maya, could not have been more attentive and considerate. Miss this and please do not tell me, in the future, that you found no brilliant restaurants in Central Amsterdam. This, most certainly, is one of the very best anywhere. Highly recommended. read more

We walked by last night and we were so excited to see a Thanksgiving menu! We were able to get a table and enjoyed a very tasty thanksgiving dinner. You could chose between three or four course and with or without wine pairing. The butternut squash soup was different but quite good. It has Asian spices and rice in the soup. It reminded me of a Thai soup. Unexpected but good. The pear and blue cheese salad was fresh and I loved the roasted pears and hazelnuts. The main course was a big plate of food including turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing/dressing, green beans, snap peas, Brussel sprouts with pancetta, cranberry sauce, and gravy. Wow. It hit the spot for what I was craving. Dessert was a pumpkin pie (I might have called it a pumpkin toast but the flavor of the filling was on point), and then shared pecan tart, creme brûlée, fruit salad, and some macaroons. Thank you Seaaons for providing a good thanksgiving dinner! read more

Hmmmmm last night in AMS and one last meal...where do we go? Thankfully my lovely friend suggested Seasons. We peeked at the menu and from then on I kept checking the time to see if it was time to eat. We both opted for the 3 course pre fixe. And I will warn you it is a lot of food. There is no such thing as a small plate here. I had the deconstructed ceasar, inside out Wellington, and the winter fruit pancake. I wasn't so crazy about the desert perhaps because I polished off all of my other plates, but the rest was stellar. The plating has just enough whimsy to make things interesting and delivers on flavors. I do recommend a reservation being that it seems to be a popular place and it's also a small venue. It was a few days before Thanksgiving and we saw there was a special Thanksgiving menu and were sorry we were going to miss it. read more

We had dinner here on our first night in Amsterdam. The food was excellent, and portion sizes were generous. I had the fish of the day, which was a pan-seared cod on a bed of lentils. It was cooked perfectly. The Dutch pea soup was also delicious. The one thing that was strange (and slightly annoying) is that there was a small dog in the restaurant...I'm not sure if it belonged to a patron or an employee, but it was sitting next to each table and begging for food. Not something that I would expect to see in a restaurant of this caliber. Other than that, we had a really good meal. read more

What a great restaurant! Really cozy place with fantastic food. I took a 3 course meal for 34€. There is a wide variety to choose. For the starters you can have soup, delicious salads and creative dishes! I took figues with goat cheese a honey sauce and Spanish jam. As second course I took grilled tuna, amazingly fresh. You can also choose, lamb, chicken, beef...And to conclude with a delicious dessert of ice cream with banana and cinnamon cream. If you like good Mediterranean food i definitely recommend this place. read more

We had dinner here for New Year's Eve. It was quite good and so was the service. I was a little irritated by the dog that came out; not so much by the dog but the fact that the table right next to us was petting the dog and keeping him very near by. No fault of the restaurant's, but it did not make me enjoy my meal any more. Overall, the meal was very good! Excellent service by the staff. read more

We stumbled upon this restaurant and consider ourselves very fortunate for having done so. The service was superb - polite, professional, and yet very friendly. All really made us feel welcome. We began with the corn soup with a shrimp & crab salad and the blue cheese, butternut & barley salad. Both were larger portions than we expected and were most delicious. For our main course I had the mixed grill: a rib-eye skewer with a chimichurri sauce, sambal marinated chicken skewer, and shrimp seared in garlic, chili's and olive oil. The meat was extremely tender and I loved the sauces. Be warned that the sambas sauce and the chilis in the olive oil both have quite a kick to them however, so if you do not like hot food, this may not be the dish for you. Mark had the grilled Harissa shrimp and quite enjoyed his dinner also. Although I had no room for dessert, the waiter talked me into a coffee, because he said it also came with a small dessert. That turned out to be a small jar of ricotta with fruit on top - the perfect end to a wonderful meal! read more
