Seasons is a good restaurant. I got the brisket tacos, which were great besides the fact they were a little too heavy for me. The food was amazing! It was very well prepared, good portion sizes, and good flavor! Our server was super friendly and attentive but not in our business. He answered questions and offered suggestions. Their website for what beers were offered must have been out of date because we tried to order 2 or 3 and none of them were available so that can get frustrating when trying to order but otherwise service was great! Atmosphere was a fun, laid back vibe...fun chalk board over the bar that displayed different drinks. Big bar area that pretty much ran the length of the room. Locals aren't gonna like this review, and I get it. But here it is. Seasons Gastropub is a good concept but, with a touch of improvement, could be a good restaurant. I grabbed a chair behind the back of the bar looking into the main room (photo). Heather - great waitress (a touch of Sandra Bullock in THE BLIND SIDE) - was right there with a fresh and frosty IPA from a regional brewery. (3 Bells?) I had the EDAMAME - 3.5*. It comes from their "Japanese Kitchen". This kitchen handles the Sushi offerings. Nice big plate. Good quality and freshness. But it lacked seasoning and was slightly undercooked. No garlic. No seasoned salt that I could discern. Plus, they were served lukewarm temp. From the other kitchen came the JIVE TURKEY. Smoked turkey with colby cheese and bacon on a croissant. Sounds great, right? Almost. The turkey was smoked just right. But it was dry. And not a hint of BBQ sauce or chipotle. Plentiful FRENCH FRIES with a nice looking sear on them - but they were limp. When placing my order Heather told me the edamame and sandwich would probably come out at the same time and asked me if I was cool with that. Pro move for her to ask and I told her, no problem. But the edamame did come out before the sandwich. They rushed it. The turkey sat and dried out - and the fries went limp under a warming lamp. Look, the food is of good quality. They're just not giving it a chance to shine in prep. They're doing so many things for so many people they can't keep up. And this place is huge. Front dining area, back dining area, huge patio, side outdoor area. Not an easy task handling that amount of plated meals and drinks. Especially during dinner rush / 6:30P when I went. I told the hostess all this and she was remarkably cool and receptive to the feedback. Even going so far as to say; "I'm real glad to hear this. We wandered into Seasons Gastropub in Morton at about 11:30 in the morning on a cold winter day in the middle of the week. Even though the place wasn't crowded we were greeted immediately and shown to our table. The waitstaff is prompt and friendly. Seasons counts BBQ among their specialties. Our pulled pork sandwiches and fries were yummy! In addition to the indoor bar and dining area, Seasons offers a large outdoor terrace as well. There are large overhead doors between the interior dining area and the terrace. In warm weather, with the big doors all the way open, Seasons Gastropub will be a fun destination: a charming restaurant, first rate service and tasty entrees. read more

If I have a lunch meeting, this is almost always my default spot. Plenty of space, good lunch options, and quick service. You can also reserve their back room to accommodate large groups. Morton is fortunate to have a place like this! P.S. if you're getting fries with your order, don't mess around. Just get the parmesan fries. read more

I ordered the special of the day burnt ends grilled cheese. It sounded like an amazing combo, but I was underwhelmed by the blandness of the food and the back of burnt on the ends. The bbq inside of my sandwich lacked that crust that I've come to look for on burnt ends and bbq in general. I got the sweet potato fries for an additional $2, but when I received my food they were cold and nothing you couldn't get from the frozen secretion. The service was excellent! I come to this facility every weekend and the manager who is always working is very rude. He yells at his staff for having good customer service with the customers, but yet in a 2 hour time frame sat down at least 9 times. At least his staff aren't being lazy and have better customer service skills than he does. read more

We met up with some friends for dinner and thought we'd give Seasons a try. The food and beverages really helped make our night. First, they have a good selection of beverages - craft beers, ciders - and a full bar to meet all of your needs. We started with the cheese balls and found them to have the right balance of breading without tasting heavy with the oil from frying - almost more like an air fried approach. My husband heard they had good sushi. That felt like an interesting option at a place in Morton that has quite the menu of other types of foods. But we went for it and weren't disappointed. I had the Cado Roll with smoked salmon. The pieces were the appropriate size for consuming in one 'bite'. The flavor of the smoked salmon really gave a different and good taste to the roll. I also did the edamame appetizer. It didn't have a lot of flavor or seasoning but I'm a fan of getting a serving of veggies the easy way. My husband had the Volcano and Crunchy Yummy Rolls. He polished both off having a hard time deciding which was his favorite. This is definitely a restaurant worth trying, even when you don't live in Morton. read more

Extremely busy and loud during dinner but for good reason. Amazing sushi, some of the best quality rice and fish I have had, worth the wait and price for the Midwest - most of the sushi cost probably goes to shipping the fish 2500 miles and keeping it fresh. The Mexican roll is a must try, got a great hot bite and ingredients make it a real treat. The rest of the non-sushi menu looks real good too but it's unlikely I'll ever get to it with sushi this good. Who knew a small city American restaurant and bar could serve up better sushi than most sushi places! read more

Food here is "ok" to good. Can be hit and miss. Atmosphere is nice. Cold beers, nice bar and table seating. It's definitely worth stopping in. Only bad experience I've had is with the bartenders as, they seem completely untrained, clueless. They don't know what the specials are and they don't seem to know anything about beers or drinks. I asked what Pilsners they had and this young kid just looked at me kinda crossed eyed and handed me a menu. I had to go out front, and look at the sign to see what the specials were as, the young bartender barely knew what day it was, much less what the daily specials were. Train your people, for phk sake. Say "hi", smile. Tell me what your top selling beers are and what your daily specials are. Upsell me. Christ, it's like these restaurants want to fail. read more

Good food, but a poorly run business. Here are 3 of my last 4 experiences. Twice I got turned away because they were going to close soon. I entered along with a line of others and watch them turn each person away with the explanation that they wanted to ensure they could close on time. One was a Friday night at 8pm (close at 9:00) and got turned away at 6:30pm on a Thursday (closes at 8:00). A Saturday night I sat there at the bar at 8:15pm and watched them go around putting up chairs around people and letting them know they were closing at 9:00. Food was great! Started with wings, pretzel bites and egg rolls. The pretzels were good, but the wings and smoked pork egg rolls were outstanding. My Blue Moon was tall and cold, but the Old Fashion needed a makeover. It was watery with little taste. As for meals, the chicken sandwich was crispy and moist and came with fresh fries. The meatloaf was smoky with a little kick to it and the fish tacos had a nice spice. The grilled cheese was just Ok. It could use an update to match the other food we had. I really want this place to be awesome. Nice atmosphere overall. We've had some very good food here, but not consistently. We like a couple of the sushi rolls (salmon crazy roll is really good), and they have some good bar food type stuff. But in the 5-6 times we've been there, we've never had good service. Just ate there tonight with family, it wasn't busy at all, lots of staff standing around, and took literally 2 hours from start to finish. Mostly due to a disinterested server. Its a bummer. This is a convenient place in a town where there's no competition for a restaurant like this. If they could get their service act together it'd be great. read more

Great food! I really love coming here for the sushi. Great cocktail and draft beer choices as well. Only downside is that the servers wander off or stand around and you'll sit for 15 minutes waiting to have your order taken, drink refilled, or to receive your bill. I really want to like this place, this was our 2nd time here. The first time was ok, but this time not good! It is really cool inside and it is what Morton needs, but the meal we had was awful! We ordered the 1/2lb chicken wings for app that were awful, should have passed on them when the waiter said they were smoked on the smoker the day before and they re-heat them. My wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was a tiny piece, about 2-3oz, the lettuce was wilted and the flavor was horrible. Our daughter ordered the kids grilled chicken and got a grilled cheese that she should have ate instead. Once her sandwich came out it was the same exact thing my wife order and the chicken was twice the size of my wife's. Kids want a basic grilled chicken w/o aoli. She took one bite and couldn't eat it. I wanted to taste it myself and it was bad. As for my meal, it was edible. I got the beef brisket sandwich. It was shredded and I assume re-heated, had no smoke ring and no smoke flavor. The bbq sauce, I assume they make, is decent and they did have a good beer special! Nicest looking restaurant that I've been to in Morton. The place is large and modern. I had a chopped brisket sandwich with fries and a beer. The brisket sandwich didn't have a lot of meat on it and the sauce could've used more of a kick. They have a nice draft beer selection with about a dozen beers on tap. The chef's burger and my spouse's meatloaf sandwich were very flavorful and decent proportion. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about our meal. The sides are very overpriced - $3 for a paltry amount of overcooked, bland parmesan fries (think fruit bowl size). It's bad when fast food fries have more flavor. There are no salad dressings available without MSG, and they did not have even a basic vinegar and oil on hand. The manager did make it right with the fries, but when our bill came out, a surprise charge for extra salad dressing was on it...which the server had not bothered to inform us about when we requested an extra side of it. You know, one of those tiny black plastic ramakins...again, with a paltry amount of dressing. The upcharge was only a quarter, so we paid it, but it's the principle of the matter. I wish I could say I liked Seasons enough to come back again, but at $12 a sandwich, I can get a much better meal elsewhere that is more filling and nutritious, or cook it myself at home. Sorry. I'd pick Crackerbarrel over this any day if you are looking to eat in Morton. read more

We have been longtime customers of Seasons Gastropub, but recently, we rented their downstairs private room for a Celebration of Life of my dad.  We were so pleased with our experience.  I don't write a lot of reviews, but when someone/someplace is stellar, they deserve a review.  We looked at both their upstairs and downstairs rooms.  Both are nice but we chose the downstairs because of the quaint and private atmosphere.  With tin ceilings, edison lights, a large bar, and several types of seating areas - it was just perfect! They had a projection screen we used to display a movie, as well.  It was convenient for elderly folks visiting because they have an elevator and bathrooms downstairs.  The food was also very good, especially for buffet style! The staff were so friendly (thanks Patty, Lindsey, and the bartender) that night!  From helping guide people to us, keeping food replenished, picking up plates, serving drinks - everything!  All of our guests really enjoyed the experience as did our family.  I'd highly recommend their services for an event like this in addition to their restaurant!  Great job, Seasons! read more

Oh Seasons...how I want to rate you higher, but I just can't. We've been several times now, and it's always just "meh". The food is hit or miss--some dishes/sandwiches are good, others leave so much to be desired. Honestly, the numerous visits are due to our family's addiction to the parmesan fries. These are stellar! Their pork items are usually decent as they have a smoker onsite. The beer selection is lackluster at best. It's usually dominated by IPAs which I'm not a fan of. The last two items I've been, they've ran out of my canned beer choice. I really hope I'll be able to update this review in the future as this place has all of the right components to be great-- and it's in my backyard to boot. read more

We took a group between our kids' soccer games. The restaurant is very nice, clean, friendly atmosphere. Good beer. Weather was fantastic so the boys played bags outside on the patio area, which was perfect for keeping them occupied while we waited for the food. Now the food....not so great. My husband did say his reuben sandwich was excellent, but my $10 cheeseburger was very average. The fries were way overcooked. I also ordered parmesean fries. Not good. My friend ordered a sandwich which she rated as C- . So....go for the beer, not the food. The service was good, but one lady who seemed in charge seemed put-off by a large group, especially when we told her there might be some guests trickling in. (We got there at opening time and no other guests were in the restaurant or waiting). They put us in a back room, which was perfect.
