Kelleher's is a cute Irish pub in downtown Peoria. The outdoor seating under the lights is a good spot for drinks and the inside is very much an Irish pub. The food was hit and miss for me just because Irish fare isn't my favorite. The Toastie sandwich was amazing, the garlic aioli sauce on it was outstanding. However the pot pie wasn't my thing. The service on this particular visit wasn't the best. My group waited a long time for refills and even getting the check at the end was a hassle. However, the staff and bartenders were very friendly. I'd give this place another try because it has a good atmosphere and the Tipperary Toastie is so good.

From the time you walk in , you're greeted by a cozy, welcoming atmosphere--wooden beams, dim lighting, and a lively yet comfortable ambiance. The staff is friendly and nice! It was a bit on the slow side when ordering and service. The food was decent and had good flavor. I would recommend this place !

Outdoor area Leaves a lot to be desired. No plantings, no flowers, nothing on the tables. No music playing outside.

Thought I would visit an old Hometown hang out.. Wanted to sit outside because it's beautiful, but the outside area is desolate. Not any plantings or flowers or anything. Menu is limited, typical bar food. Burgers and such. I was looking for some thing on the vegetarian side at least. No veggie burgers, no bean burgers, no impossible burgers. Only a couple of salads. My waiter, Caitlin, Was very nice and certainly attentive. And my beer was ice cold.

First time was great! Very tasty food, filling and deep flavors that make this place stand out in my memories. Great host, predictable menu - in a good way, surprising burgers! So much better than my already high red robin set expectations. The shepherd's pie is also well worth the try and reminded me I need to try cooking. Second time for St Paddy's day, still great for me but my mates weren't that happy. Corned Beef was extremely dry and hardly edible. Everyone else was very happy tho, fun menu with plenty to try out.

The food here is scrummy! We had the Irish coddle which is potato's soup with cheese and bacon! It was a great start in the dreary and windy afternoon. We had the spinach artichoke dip next which was more like the consistency of a crab Rangoon filling and I won't complain it was delicious the chips had Old Bay seasoning. I had to have the fish and chips and I was told their fish delivery had just arrived and the fish had the perfect amount of coating it was crispy and golden it was perfection! The chips were thick and crispy but the inside was so fluffy! The shepherds pie was ground beef instead of lamb and had a rich flavor. It had a good flavor but I wish it had rim to rim mash instead of the pancake like mash, personal preference. The pub and ambiance feels as if you are transported to Ireland and our culinary host was Chris he was so friendly answered all of our questions. I'll be sure to visit again soon!

The food was mid. I had fish and chips and it was pretty bland. The menu selection wasn't the best.

We got the Reuben and the Beer and Whiskey Burger. Both with sides of fries. The burger was the worst! It was definitely overcooked, and dry AF! The bottom bun was burnt. Worst of all there was no Bourbon glaze which was a bummer because it wasn't seasoned ...not one bit!! The Reuben wasn't actually bad, the thick cut corned beef was yummy but the bread was also over toasted. The fries were good as was the side of ranch for a dip. We ordered a side of pickles for the Reuben but they came when the sandwich was nearly gone and only when we reminded the waitress which didn't circle back like normal to see how we were doing and check to see if things were good. Now here's the part that was wild. There were only 2 tables 3 people at one and 2 people at the other. As others mentioned we waited almost 15 minutes after being ready to order and about 40 minutes for food to show up! OTHERS HAVE SAID THIS!! OWNERS PAY ATTENTION!! To me this seems like you couldn't care less! We didn't take pics because the food was unremarkable but I'll share pics of the building. I would skip this place for food unless you got time and money to spare as the average menu item was $16. Even the scotch eggs were $14 for 2!!!! Which we didn't get, because screw that $14 for 2 eggs? No thanks!

This place seem to have really good from scratch cooking methods and was able to accommodate our crazy allergies. Even at lunch, there was a lot of mood lighting and it was pretty dark. It was very distracting for one of my kiddos during lunch. We were helped pretty quickly, but it did take a long time to get our food. Our food was outstanding. Everything was from scratch and it tasted really good. The baby really enjoyed it. This sweet potato fries are amazing. I was confused why the restaurant was so empty but perhaps it's because it takes so long to get your food? Or possibly Peoria I just can't support a nice restaurant like that.
