The other sandwich I got was the brisket grilled cheese. It consisted of gristly brisket with coleslaw and a little bit of cheese. Fantastic bakery spot in Crescent City! I ate here for breakfast twice, and the food and coffee were both amazing. The first day there was a minor issue with my order, but they immediately fixed it and ensured I had a good experience! After just one visit, I can say the place is quite different, and impressive - in a good way - from anything else in our area. Bright, clean, very "market oriented". When I was there it was fairly empty. The staff was friendly. Everything was laid out invitingingly. My sister and I shared a sandwich. It was very tasty. It was not "exciting", if you knew what it could have been, but fresh and well made. The price was absolutely off the charts though. Twice what I would have expected. So- I am not sure that many locals will want to spend that kind of money outside of a special occasion. read more

Husband ordered the Brisket burrito and it had hardly any brisket in it! It was mostly full of undercooked hash browns. For the price he was definitely disappointed. I ordered a Cafe Latte and it mostly tasted like milk I couldn't even taste the coffee and it was maybe lukewarm. Not impressed. read more

We frequently dine at Seaquake which is often a wait especially after 5:30pm. Great spacious venue beautful nautical/coastal decor. The extended hours for dinner still appear undiscovered. We arrived at 6:15 on a Thursday, service was attentive, helpful patient as we explored new menu. We split a Mediterranean salad, which was delicious & large enough for 2 ready within 15 minutes. Great Italian house dressing. We had a 9 inch 'Long Live the King Supreme' Pizza-. The crust was light & crispy, the diagonal cuts were bite sized and easy to handle. I would suggest having a large plate underneath the pizza tin to prevent spillage over the edge while self-serving The toppings were generous: mushrooms, 3 kinds of meat, olives & red pepper with a great balance between cheese toppings. I went to SeaQuake Brewing with a friend and our waitress recommended we try out their new cafe/bakery, SeaFront, for breakfast the next morning. It was opening day and everything was great! The food was hot and yummy, the mocha was delicious, and the place is so cute! They have a huge space with lots of seating and the decor is so fun and beachy. There are tons of other little items to buy too, like jams, specialty foods, candles, mugs, etc. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in town as I'm sure it'll only get better! read more
