Fish (cod) and chips
Dominic B.

Shoutout to Seafresh for serving some incredibly fresh seafood in Pimlico! Coming off anevening flight, I was excited to find this was a close walk from my hotel (and a number of hotels in the area). Seafresh is divided into two parts: a sit down restaurant and a fresh fish market section where you can also order food. Since we were in search of quick bite, we ended up ordering from the market section which also featured cheaper prices! The one caveat is there is only a small amount of seating, but no problem as most people are there for takeout orders. When the food came out, I was shocked how large the cod filet was! It almost eclipsed the entire plate! It came out hot and crisp while the inside was nice and flaky. The seafood soup was also piping hot and had a nice mix of fresh seafood. Definitely stop by if you're craving some fish and chips or other seafood! The staff was incredibly friendly and hustled to get orders out quickly!

Amazing food, ambience, and service. Tyra is an absolute gem and made the dining experience unforgettable. I came with my wife, and my daughters (7,17) and we had the seafood linguine, fish and chips, falafel, and grilled king prawns. They were prepared and cooked to perfection. We have been here for three nights and have eaten here twice, and will likely be here again once or twice before we leave in five days. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys great food, and fantastic service. I would give 6 stars if I could.

The place was so cute and simple. The staff was really kind and friendly. Unfortunately the only item I can review is the fish and chips- cod because that was what all of us ordered!! Delicious and really good. I am not sure, but there was an extra charge for convenience fee, but I thought maybe just an automatic tip?? Not cheap, but good!!

We wanted a quick bite since we just arrived in town. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it wasn't too busy inside. The restaurant was very nice and clean. We had their fish and chips and grilled calamari. The fish tasted very fresh and was very crispy. The chips were a little bit soft. And the mushy peas were okay to taste. The grilled calamari had a very light flavor but tasted great with the squeezed lemon and fresh Thai chili. Overall, their seafood tasted fresh and was pretty good!

Spent 3 days in Pimlico and ate at Seafresh everyday. Generous portion of fish and chips which were delicious in taste, most of all enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and excellent service provided by Martha.

Voted number one fish and chips in the area, so decided to try while visiting the UK. Definitely recommend the fish and chips look at the size of fish they give you. Was traveling with a vegan eater, the restaurant was able to accommodate with a veggie burger and chips. Well talking to the staff, was suggested try the seafood soup which was delicious. The fish artwork on the walls was interesting to look at while waiting for a food. The wc was clean and well kept, only issue would be upstairs but no issue if you are ambulatory.

The service is so friendly here! But the food is just okay. The scallops and prawns were a little over cooked. But the skate fish was good! The seafood chowder was not what we were expecting at all. We thought we were getting something similar to clam chowder. This was more of a broth with a bunch of seafood.

I loved the food and the Ambiance. Great service too. It was a nice space to eat, talk and enjoy the dining experience!

AWESOME service! The workers there were too generous and they offered free gravy without extra charge and plenty of extra tartar sauce when asked! The mashed potatoes there were amazing and they tasted so soft and warm. The seafood was really good, you can't go wrong with Fish and Chips, and it can be a lot bigger than expected on a plate. Overall, food was good, service was better. It can be pricy but it's seafood!

Cod and Haddock. Mushy pees.

On our first visit to London we lucked out. Our very first dining experience was fish and chips at this Seafresh location. My husband had cod, I ordered haddock so we shared to try both. Great culinary experience. The fish was amazing, very juicy and tasty. The batter was exquisite, crisp and just right. The chips were OK. We have better potatoes back in Canada. Friendly staff and pleasant decor.

I'm not sure on that, it's just something I thought we caught on to before we left and there started to be RESERVED tents going on the tables. We went and had Scotch Egg, Calamari, Arancini, fish & chips and STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING. Oh. My. Goodness! First the Scotch Egg. I don't want to be a Debbie Downer but it was....ok. It was a little plain. A little tasteless. They could have thrown a few spices into the meat, just a little something. To say that we've made better at home wouldn't be far out. But still good. The calamari was cooked just right. It's what you expect out of a calamari appetizer. Was it the best you'll ever have? Not really. Worth the price? Add it to your appetizer list! The rice balls, which is arancini is, were good. Add a little salt to the top and they were, also, as you'd expect. The fish & chips were exactly as we were hoping when visiting an English Pub for fish & chips. The fish was perfectly cooked, the coating was fabulous, and of course the chips were a perfect compliment to the fish. A great fish & chips experience. The star of the show was the Sticky Toffee Pudding. What a treat! Granted I've nothing to compare it to, this was my first time having it, but whether I've had it before or not THIS was perfection. Perfect texture, the flavour was amazing, the caramel drizzle was perfectly proportioned, and the little bit of ice cream on the side was just perfect. I would go back here simply on this dessert alone. As for the drinks, because, you know, it's a pub....I couldn't say. I don't drink alcohol but my Diet Coke was great! Fresh bottle! ....I suppose I could have gotten a non-alcoholic beer. Wait....did they have non-alcoholic beer there? SOMEONE FIND OUT IF THEY HAVE NON-ALCOHOLIC BEER THERE. The atmosphere was great. I can see how it would be perfect in the evening and on into the night. Very welcoming with a great looking bar.

It's a smaller space but the vibe was very cool and energized!! love it!!! We couldn't get a table so we sat and ate at the wall bar. We had a Modelo and Guinness...to start, the Appleby's Cheshire Onion, cheese and potato pie! and Fish n Chips! Both were scrumptious and we cleaned our plates, finished our beverages and went on about our way! What I can say is that is a locally great place, like no one wanted to leave! That says tons about the people, service, and food! So cheers! I highly recommend!!

One of those places was The Ritz, the other was Harrods, because they're well known & people talk about them. I'm ecstatic. I chose the Ivy! Those other 2 restaurants are much more expensive, the Ritz is more than double for the same or similar items. I always make reservations ahead and this was no exception, I made my reservations 2 months early. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and our Hostess told us we had a good table because we made a reservation. Making that reservation really helped because we got the bomb table!! Best seats in the house! Our table was the only round, corner table in the restaurant. It was situated perfectly in the best, cozy, most beautiful part with ample view of everything happening. Our Afternoon Tea was such an amazing experience. You choose from various teas and the tea kettles are brought out. I chose a mint tea and my husband got Earl Grey. The tea kettles are large and hold lots of tea. Once the serving tray is brought out, our server added liquid to the top bowl and it activated the sublimates inside the dry ice, causing a lovely scene. The food items brought on a beautiful serving tray included the following for both: Ivy 1917 Cure smoked salmon and cream cheese finger sandwich. Grilled chicken and truffle mayonnaise brioche roll. Pickled cucumber, courgette and basil double decker, my personal favorite. Scones Warm fruited scones with clotted cream, fresh strawberries and strawberry preserve. I enjoyed the scones because they weren't overly sweetened, like in the US. Sweet Blackberry and cherry choux bun, so yummy!! Espresso coffee cream, which is quite a decadent mousse. Apple, cinnamon and caramel cupcake, very cute and delicious. Perfect amount of cinnamon. Madeleine with chocolate sauce. They also included 2 chocolate gold wrapped medals, keeping close to the Olympics. We thought this was a perfect touch. It may not seem like a lot of food, but it was. I brought home one of the scones, the Madeleine, and most of the choux bun. I really loved the location of this Ivy. Chelsea was a great place to walk around after our meal. I wish I lived in London, I would come back for the Sunday roast and Brunch. Great vibes, cool people, excellent service. Loved it.

Tip: You must visit this food hall. It's awesome!…read more You know what? When there's a listing for a department store food hall, you know that it's good. No, not good. Fantastic! I was at this food hall in December 2013. It's located on the ground floor of this large department store. The displays are extremely fancy and captivating. I recall seeing mini cakes that looked yummy. Even the fruit in the display case, as in apples, pears, and more, looked amazing and in pristine condition. The pastries looked scrumptious. I could smell the croissants! You can get sandwiches, from egg salad to lobster rolls. Feel like steak and chips? Yep, you can get them here, too. I frankly couldn't tell you what you can't get here. I felt like a dream seeing so much good food, but it wasn't. It's definitely worth a visit, whether you end up browsing like me because the prices were steep or you end up splurging. There was a wine section that had shiny bottles of fancy wine varieties. You could get cheese to complement your wine. Everything in this store looked beautiful and elegant. I would do a few things differently when I return to this food hall: - I'd do afternoon tea. I'd actually splurge to experience tea here because I didn't realize that I could until after my Harrods visit. - I'd find a hotel room with a fridge, so I could bring back pastries, macarons, sandwiches, and more. - I'd dine here to experience the entire food hall experience instead of dining at a restaurant within Harrods. The more I reminisce about where I've been in London, I want to return! (55)

(We bought one with cucumber and one with bright pink dragon fruit.) For two sandwiches and two bottles of water, it came to £28.50. Not particularly inexpensive with the currency conversion (ouch!) but much cheaper than going out for lunch. Also, the sandwiches were delicious!
