My order was pretty good but the cross contamination of utensils in this place has me worried about other violations.

Get over the "fragrance"! During a quick gyrls trip to Savannah, we stopped by Seafoodlicious. Now heads-up this is a fresh seafood establishment that will prepare/cook food to order so there's a fresh seafood smell or something like that inside the location. Anyway, my bff's daughter who's a student at Savannah State Univ has raved senseless about this spot so we were determined to give it a try. There were 3 of us and we each ordered the Low Country boil. This entrée included sausage, 2 small corn on the cobs, shrimps and crab clusters. DELICIOUS! The price was surprising compared to the quantity and value of our meals. ABSOLUTELY WORTH EVERY PENNNY!!! Delicious!!!!!! My husband and I found this hidden gem off of urban spoon and yelp. We each ordered the low country boil and could have split it. Pretty good. Not worth 5 stars however. I got the oysters and fries platter. It was 80% fries and 20% oysters. They were both good but for $12, I would expect not to be loaded up with fries, especially since this place was designated by a one-dollar sign. Oysters came out nice and hot and not greasy, however the breading masked most of the oyster flavor. Coming from Atlanta, I don't think I have quite gotten my seafood fix by coming top this place. I did see some other items coming out of the kitchen which looked quite nice. Also there is an upcharge if you come in with a crabby attitude. Great spot for some fresh seafood. They offer many types if fresh assorted fish and shellfish, they'll even cook and season it to your liking. When it comes to shrimp, the prices are great and they have small, med and large shrimp depending on what you're trying to make. I prefer using the small shrimp as my go-to bait for fishing. It's not frozen so it doesn't fall off the hook as easy as the frozen bait you get elsewhere. If you're planning a ln oyster roast they have bushels of fresh great tasting and meaty oysters. They also have crawfish and blue crabs for your next low country boil. read more

This place is around 10 minutes drive from downtown Savannah and is a local favorite. They are open till 9 pm and it is a take-out place. I prefer this place to other seafood joints in Savannah since they don't use a lot of sauce and allow you to carry out spicy and mild and tartar sauces on the side. We are not too crazy about deep fried anything, but we ordered fried scallops and the batter was very light. Low country Boil is definitely a must, the shrimp and crab were delicious. When we got there they had ran out of their popular items so call ahead. For around 35 bucks we got ourselves a feast of seafood selection. You can buy the seafood boiled, fried or as is-raw. We got half a lb of medium-size scallop for $6 which was pretty decent and took that home to cook ourselves. They also have a variety of fish, shrimps in varying sizes-small to jumbo, scallops and squids. You can get the low country boil with blue crabs ($9) or snow crabs ($14). We got the snow crabs version. It was pretty good. You can also buy oyster knives and crab crackers. The conch looks spicy and seasoned. Soft drinks chilled (or not) and aloe Vera drinks by the cases. Everyone was super polite. read more

This is a carry out, but having cooked "low country boil " you can't go wrong. It was good! Get the extra seasoning which I told owner/manager he should package & sell. When you talk to the local patrons and they tell you it is good you know you are not at the chain or expensive " old Savannah". I was here for dog show and always try to the local best. We may be missing the charm of this place given we were out of towners... but our experience didn't warrant the current rating bestowed on this app. Here are our thoughts. We are not judging on this being carry out only as that was made perfectly clear in previous reviews just food and service. Service 1 - It's not about you it's about them - the wall is covered with signs indicating what you have to do as a customer and everything they don't. 2 - Slow - although quick to take your order the turnaround was not impressive. 3 - Nickel and diming - yes you are buying a seafood dinner but if you want lemon, cocktail sauce or tartar prepare to ask and pay extra. Food - we ordered two low country boils and hush puppies 1- if you are traveling be prepared to crack crab no tools ( remember its carry out) 2 - if you like your shrimp de- veined this isn't the place for you ( I couldn't eat it - black yuck oozed out when you squeezed each piece) 3- the sausage had many hard bits in it - I don't want to know what that was 4- the corn and potatoes were good! But not why I bought the boil. 5 - hush puppies... just not worth it - greasy. To each their own - we will not return. read more

Had the crab pie and seafood/ shrimp salad. So refreshing yet tasty! The crab pie had a lot of egg taste and is loaded with mozzarella and crab. The salad is very good but got salty as i kept on eating. All were already prepared so took about 5 min to get. They heat the pie for you. read more

This is a great carry out seafood spot. The low country boil and the fried shrimp and oyster combo were very good. We also had a slice of crab pie that was very tasty but the crust was not as brown as I prefer. I think they should blind bake the crust before filling. The crab pie is cold so you have to heat it up. Unfotunately I was reheating it in the microwave and not an oven. Reheating in the oven would have probably taken care of the crust issue. The filling of the crab pie was very good. The prices are reasonable and portion size is good. All in all a good experience and I plan to return the next time I am in Savannah. read more

Holy cow, this is the best little dive I've been to in a long time. It is actually a seafood market that cooks their products to order for you at only $1 a pound. The Low Country seafood boil was a large carryout container of pure goodness. Shrimp, sausage, crab, corn on the cob, red skin potatoes cooked with garlic and Old Bay. Then we added a pound of jumbo shrimp just in case we wanted more (we did not, but it's lunch tomorrow). Seems to be a good sign when many of the customers are local neighborhood folks. We had the low country boil and it was sooo amazing! I have to admit I was a little concerned when we showed up if I wanted to eat here but man it did not disappoint. The owner was super friendly and the food is crazy cheap in my opinion. To have to get the food to go and I highly recommend you take it where you can wash up after because you will have buttery goodness all over your hands if you get the low county boil. You may want to ask for them to go light on the seasoning because it was slightly too salty. Loved this meal so much! read more

We were here again this past week. Always a favorite. Get the Lowcountry boil and a small side of the shrimp salad! Also, the spiced up conchs are pretty good. God I feel cool!!!!!!!!! Rolled into savannah on a Monday night and got to-go 10 lbs oysters, fried shrimp and French fries, plus oyster tool thingy, and bottle hot sauce = $30. Oysters were OMG if you like fresh, salty brine, flavor, authentic taste. Sooooooooooooooooo good! Buy a tool though, if you buy oysters. 5 stars!!! This is the best fried seafood in Savannah I would argue. Not that I have tried them all but I can't imagine it better than this. We tried it all oysters, shrimp, fish. Also got the crab pie and a cold shrimp salad all excellent! Take out only and I'm not from around here so I drove around the corner and found a park with a bunch of trees and had the best picnic ever. We had the shrimp salad and low country boil. Shrimp salad was $4 And boil was around 8.99. They have sauces for .50. This is not a sit down restaurant. However, the food is AMAZING! Eating in the car not recommended but we managed. The shrimp, crab, sausage, corn and potatoes are sprinkled with a mild spice and at the bottom is a butter mixture. The food is fresh!! Corn was delicious. The shrimp salad was fresh and yummy. Only minor thing I could possibly complain about was the crab were teeny, tiny and not worth messing with. David's was recommended to me by a friend who used to live in Savannah. It definitely did not disappoint me! I bought a cooler bag and took my purchases on our 4 hour drive back home!! I had the fried shrimp and fish. Fried shrimp was good and the fried fish was soft---so amazing. Loved the hush puppies! My husband had the low country boil and he loved it. The best corn on the cob! There is no seating to eat so we found Daffin park a few miles away and ate at a picnic table there. Definitely eat here! I've been back twice since my first review. The first time, I was just as excited. I told a few more people about this place. The second time, the thrill was gone. The fries were limp and over-salted. The portion size had shrunk considerably. I no longer want to share. Yes, the oysters are still good, but you want the rest of it to be tasty as well.
