Oh my! An unassuming little seafood market that had a to-go menu! We were hungry for fresh seafood, and I saw this place had great reviews on Yelp. For no charge, you can add a sauce (we watched our LCB be baptized in garlic butter sauce, then sprinkled with the holy Spirit of seafood seasoning). Seafood is a Friday tradition in the south, and so it was fitting that we picked up a Snow Country Boil and an order of Fried Shrimp. I ordered online, it was ready when promised, and they delivered curbside. I was really pleased with myself for choosing Seafoodlicious lol! The shrimp were lightly dusted and flash fried and the snow country boil contained a heaping helping of corn, potatoes, sausage and shrimp. The meal included one cluster of snow crab legs. I requested (and received) Cajun seasoning and garlic butter on top of the seafood boil. Everything was prepared just right! They did not disappoint!!! The Fresh Whole Red Snapper kept looking at me through the case and I couldn't resist. I had them filet it and asked for cooking suggestions. The counter person suggested pan frying. I usually broil or grill but I went with pan fried. It was excellent . I also had a Low Country Boil. I think that's going to be my basis of comparison. All kinds of fresh fish, crab, clams, shrimp, crawfish and conch. They will cook it up if you want or sell it by the pound. We didn't try the low country boil but I was shocked at the price of it- $8.99. Many if not all of their seafood platters were under $10. I tried a fried blue crab and a fried devil crab. My mom got a crab pie (we are crab lovers) and the seafood salad. It was all very delicious. My only regret was not trying the crab pie before we left. I might have bought an entire pie. OMG. Y'all, this place has some BOMB seafood. You have to give this place a try if you're in the area. Seafoodlicious is a small hole-in-the-wall seafood market offering a variety of fresh seafood that you can purchase raw, boiled, or fried. This place has no seating to dine-in, it's strictly takeout. But don't let that keep you from stopping by, the food is well worth it. I'm so disappointed in myself for previously dining in at the tourist traps. Honestly, Seafoodlicious beats those places any day portion-wise, taste-wise, and price-wise. Not to mention I think this is where the locals come to get seafood. I came in an hour before closing, and a lot of people kept coming in to order food. That's a good sign! When you come here, it helps if you come ready knowing what you want to order. The menu and set-up can be a little overwhelming for newcomers. If you don't know what to get though, it's okay. Once you come in you can place an order with any of the employees behind the counter and they'll take your payment. Everything here is reasonably priced. Low country boils are $8.99 and you can get fried seafood for under $10. A lot of items on the menu are under $10. There's a variety of seafood on ice presented in a glass case - so you can see the seafood right in front of you and choose what you want. Seafood includes small shrimp ($6.99 per lb), medium shrimp, and jumbo shrimp ($9.99 per lb), blue crab, snow crab, fish fillets (your choice of tilapia, swai, or whiting), catfish, whole fish (I can't remember all but black sea bass was one of them. They serve very large whole fish as well), oysters, conch, squid, and crabmeat. They also serve cooked items like shrimp salad, crab pie, spicy conch, deviled crab, garlic crab, and fried crab. If you want raw seafood, you can just order what you want behind the glass case as is. If you want fried seafood, there is a selection of fried platters on the far left side of the menu. It comes with fries and your choice of dipping sauce. They use swai for the fried fish platter unless otherwise specified. While the fried seafood is tasty and satisfying, I would not go out of my way here for it. I highly recommend getting their low country boil, especially if you're a newcomer. It's such a good deal! The low country boil comes with small shrimp, two blue crabs, potatoes, corn, and 100% beef sausage. If you don't want sausage they will offer to give you extra potatoes, which is nice. I have no idea what they use for seasoning but I guess it would be something along the lines of Cajun seasoning. Then they add garlic butter to it. They may ask if you want seasoning and garlic butter mixed in or if you'd like both on the side. I highly suggest having it all mixed in, the seafood absorbs the flavor better that way. Another option is to just order whatever you want behind the glass case and ask them to cook it. I think you can only either get it deep fried or boiled (if boiled they will add garlic butter and seasoning). My family of five ended up ordering 4 low country boils, one fried platter of fish and fries, one fried swai fish fillet, and one pound of boiled jumbo shrimp ($9.99 per lb), along with some soft drinks and sauces. It was A LOT of seafood and the grand total was $66 - not bad at all! The fried swai fillet yields two portions of fried fish. It was tasty and not greasy. The boiled jumbo shrimp and the low country boils were DELICIOUS. I think my eyes rolled to the back of my head when I took my first bite. Everything is seasoned so well. The corn is delicious and soaks up all that good seasoning. The beef sausage and potatoes were good too. I was shocked by the generous portions they gave us. They truly filled the container. With the potatoes, sausage, and corn, this makes for a really filling meal. None of us could finish our food. I think each container could easily be shared between two people. As for the sauces, additional sauces are 50 cents each. We tried the hot sauce, shrimp sauce, garlic butter, and cocktail sauce. We really enjoyed the shrimp sauce and garlic butter. You can get a side of corn, sausage, or hush puppies for $2. Just a note: the garlic butter is served solidified so it would have to be warmed up. It was a little difficult to eat the blue crabs, I suggest having a crab cutter handy. Also, the shrimp is served headless and shell-on. Do not expect for it to be de-veined. Service was good. The environment was fast paced with the influx of customers coming in, it might be a little hard to communicate exactly what you want if you're a newcomer placing a large order - but overall the employees are nice and will confirm your order with you. Just double check your food before you leave to make sure it's right. Overall we were really blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Great value. Their right about one thing, seafood is delicious! Therefore we have Seafoodlicious. I'm addicted to oysters, cant get enough of it. I come here once in a while to see if they have crabs.. Sometimes their out of crab, which is a big disappointment. They boil their crab really quick, in 2 minutes it's done. Convenient next to Savannah State many party goers come here for the seafood. The place sells fresh, boiled, and fry seafood. Well, you can order a buschel of oysters and it comes inside a huge box, enough for 6 men to carry around..I often buy the flounder fish and it's really fresh. After searching Yelp for a great seafood place, I searched this place out. I started to leave as soon as I saw how cluttered and unsanitary it looked, but thought I might have been jumping to conclusions. How bad could it be considering all of the positive Yelp reviews? Bad! I picked up two fried shrimp and fries takeouts (fried fresh), but they were so hard fried that the shrimp were like rubber and they had an odd aftertaste. I'm not exactly sure what it was, but it could have been some sort of lemon in the batter. I don't think is was "bad", just not a taste I enjoyed. My biggest problem was the shrimp being fried so hard they were almost not chewable. I do not recommend this restaurant. If you want fresh fried seafood, keep going. The fries were completely unseasoned, but were not over cooked. We really wanted good seafood, so we will have to try somewhere else in a few days. read more

These are the reason I did not give this place five stars. Blue crabs are already tiny, but trying to shell them and get the meat out without pieces of shell was near impossible. I work right across the street from this restaurant, so I was curious to see if it was a worthy lunch destination. I stopped by midday on a Friday to see what they have to offer. I ordered a shrimp and scallops combination plate ($11 .99) and picked up a shrimp and oyster combo plate (same price) for a coworker. I had about 15 fried shrimp and eight plump, fried scallops on a plate that was overloaded with thin french-fried potatoes. Everything was nice and hot. The light breaking on the scallops was a little soft but they tasted great. The shrimp were a little overcooked, but thankfully lacked the heavy breading many seafood places use to obscure how small their shrimp are. The fries could have used another minute in the fryer, but I'm being picky. This former gas station offers a very tasty low country boil. For an upcharge they can add larger shrimp. We ordered a side of conch and it was tasty although a bit over-salted.... but if you have a sodium problem you shouldn't be eating here in the first place and it's even the boil and a healthy dose of salt. We got an additional pound of shrimp which turned out to be not needed as there were plenty of shrimp in the low boil itself. I was pleasantly surprised that the leftover shrimp were awesome the next day however so it turned out to be a positive. For around a hundred bucks we had 6 people and ate like kings. If you ever done a Low boil you know the time and effort that it takes so I felt the value was there for sure. This is a counter with fresh, live and cooked seafood. Prices are super affordable. My friend got the low country boil for about $8.99, there's a spicy option with what taste and looks like siracha sauce. I opted for fried oysters it was about $10. The oysters were good and plentiful maybe around 12 oysters (I think for that price I wouldn't get that many oysters in places on the gulf coast). My only complaint is that my fries were soggy. Yuck!! This place looks somewhat sketchy on the outside but came here due to all of the good reviews on yelp. I love doing that. Normally I'm rewarded with something great. However my meal here was unedible and was thrown in the trash after two bites. Ordered the fried shrimp plate. Came exactly as shown in other reviews -- lots of golden brown, butterflied, tailess shrimp in a sea of thinly cut fries. Looked very good for the money. Then came the first bite -- decent fried shrimp flavor immediately followed by a chemical aftertaste (bleach?). I smelled the rest of the plate -- seemed fine. Thinking maybe I had imagined it. I cautiously tried another shrimp. Holy crap, nope, clearly taste chemicals, I spit most of it out. Threw the box in the trash with disgust. That's it for me -- never going here again.
