    Lobster Roll - Superb!
    Jessica E.

I always love coming here for fresh seafood. It's our go-to place. Great service every single time. But only recently have we try their prepared foods - and we were blown away. We've tried crab cake sandwich, fried fish sandwich, lobster roll, poke bowls. DELICIOUS! All well prepared and generous. Lobster roll : Loads of lobster, ideal temperature (which seems weird to mention but it really adds to the overall experience), subtle lemon, soft roll. Homemade potato chips. Delicious even down to the pickle. And all beautifully and smartly packaged. Salmon poke bowl : A standout poke bowl. Especially loved the shredded daikon radish, seaweed salad, crunch (what is that stuff?!) and the sauce that has just the right amount of wasabi. It makes this poke better than any I've had before. Seriously good eats! Fried Fish Sandwich : perfect bun, crispy and generous fish, homemade chips - just right in every way.

Seafood USA is a seafood market with about four small tables. You can order from the counter at the market and one of the guys will bring it to your table. On a road trip from Baltimore to King of Prussia, PA, it was the perfect place for a reasonable, quick, tasty meal. Of course, Seafood USA is a little of the beaten path and we never would have found it had it not been for Yelp! When we arrived at Seafood USA the guys at the counter let us know the process. Just tell them what you want and they will bring it to your table! They also gave us some suggestions. The guys could not have been any nicer! After we gave our orders we sat at one of the small tables that are off to the side. It was just a few minutes before our soups arrived. The four of us shared two soups which are sold by the pint, a clam chowder and a cream of crab. I am not usually one for cream soups but these soups were fantastic! Each was smooth but was not too disgustingly rich. Each had its own unique fish flavor. The soups were definitely my favorite dishes here. I highly recommend them. Our mains came soon after. I ordered broiled scallops and a broiled crab cake. The scallops were okay for me. I thought they tasted a bit "fishy". No one else thought so. The crab cake was very good, but not as good as the crab cake I had earlier in Baltimore that day. All the platters came with fries and cole slaw. The fries were quite seasoned and were a tad salty for me. The cole slaw was excellent. It tasted very fresh with the slightest bit of mayo. Both boys got fried crab cakes. The broiled crab cake were much better. Husband got a fried mixed seafood platter. He was very happy with the items on it, especially the fried scallops. Of course all the seafood at the market can be cooked at home. There is plain fish and plenty of pre-prepared items. I know if this place was in my neighborhood I would be stopping by for soup....often!

Came in for lunch during the week and had the fried seafood combo. Clam strips, scallops, fish, and a crab stuffed shrimp. It was delicious and perfectly fried--crispy and not too oily. They have a handful of outdoor seats--three 2-seaters so it's more of a grab and go place. Place appears pretty popular for those looking to pick up fresh seafood. I will be back!

I believe his name was Mike, he was as the best person to help me with my dinner this evening. I walked in wanting to make sushi for my boyfriend when I don't really even eat fish. Not only did I get assistance in picking the right fish, he also cut it thinly, then shucked fresh oysters for me, and helped me pick out some seaweed salad to go with it. Even got a cucumber there to slice up and put inside the rolls. I was shocked when my bill was under $30!!!!!! Thank you so much Seafood USA! You made our dinner complete! We'll definitely be back soon! My in laws also made a special trip down to our house the other day just so they could get to seafood USA on the way! They always are saying how great it is when we have their shrimp and scallops for our parties.

They are making pretzels hot and fresh right before your eyes as you walk in!…read more They have a cheese corner with the items made in Lancaster Amish country, Pennsylvania ! I was on the hunt for something called cheese for a gift. I was able to put in an order and come back the next day and pick it up. I wonderful to have such great service and such wonderful, delicious food items. I also picked up a chunk of goat cheese with cranberries and cinnamon... Because we're expecting a snowstorm and I wanted to have a nice cheese plate. Let me tell you that cheese was absolutely delicious so flavorful and wonderful wonderful . There was a Tea booth, and I picked up some Bengal tea which is my favorite . Wonderful service. Another delightful surprise was a Greek stand that had delicious sandwiches made with falafel and baba ghanoush . I got a baba ghanoush sandwich. I also bought some. Za'atar Man'oushe bread. What a thrill how flavorful and so exceedingly delicious. I am so happy with that purchase and I wish I lived just a little bit closer to the store so I can pick up this bread at least once a week !! Soumaya and sons bakery . I am a fan. I can't wait to come back.

Such a great place to shop!…read more When you think farmer's market...normally you think outdoors...but this was inside. Apparently, this is a common type of shopping venue here...and it's fantastic! There were many rows of vendors here, and all were pleasant! The first thing that really hit me (walking down every aisle), was the variety of vendors. Yes, there was some overlap, but overall, it was a very wide selection of food and merchandise....my wife even bought a purse here! The second thing I noticed was the high quality meat and produce. If I lived close by, this is where I would shop. You could tell the people that worked here took pride in their food, and there was a visible difference in how their customers reacted, trusted, and relied on the vendors for recommendations. We were able to sample a bunch of items, thankfully....and everything was good...but of all the items we tried here, the pretzel dog and draft Appalachian root beer was the best! So fun to visit...will be back for sure!

Nice selections of Asian vegetables, fruits, price is not as low as Chinatown lower than some other suburban Asian markets. According to the owner, the produce comes in daily, which is great to know. Frozen section (dumplings, buns, fishballs, etc) contains some nice brands that I could only find in New York/North Jersey previously. They have meat and Seafood (frozen and live), especially live fish, lobster and crabs (seasonal). Tons of noodles, rice, tofu, dried goods, condiments, sauces, and big selection of snacks. Super nice owners. They kept telling me that they would continue to stock their shelves daily. If you need something specific and can't find, ask them; they get their supplies from Philly and New York and are willing to find items when there's a demand. If they're unable to find it due to supply shortage, they would tell you. I really appreciated their honesty. Real-time updates via WeChat group, but it's mostly in Chinese. I would wait a bit until they are fully stocked, but there's definitely great potential to be my go-to Asian grocery store. Note: their current closing time is 7:30, not 8pm.

Recently, I paid a call at their newest outpost on Philly's Main Line. Located in the Strafford Shopping Center just a few steps from the Amish Farmers' Market, the Wayne store opened its doors in 2021. As a restaurant reviewer and food & wine writer, my chief focus, of course, was upon the charming little Alimentari Bar/Café. Here, smack dab in the middle of all that foodie hustle and bustle, you can experience a moment of respite and order a creative cocktail to accompany your luncheon or as an afternoon pick-me-up. A Negroni or Boulvardier (Bluecoat Gin/Redemption Bourbon, respectively, Campari, Iris Dorado Vermouth) or, perhaps, a Vesper (Bluecoat Gin, Stateside Vodka, Lillet Blanc), also known as the Vesper Martini. Erroneously thought to have been invented by author Ian Fleming for his iconic British secret agent, James Bond, the cocktail first appeared in Fleming's Casino Royale, which was published in 1953, and named for the fictional double agent and Bond love-interest Vesper Lynd. The restaurant also offers a nice selection of wines by the glass/bottle, as well as several interesting brews. The Italian comfort food headlines "Di Bruno Bros. products at every turn," with categories such as Formaggi & Salumi, Soup & Salads, Sandwiches, Pizza Alla Romana, Plates, Alimentari Focaccia, and Dolci. Cheese is obviously big here, so the Monger's Greatest Hits - featuring Fromage d'Affinois, Alex, Pantaleo, black lava cashews, fig & acacia jam, honeycomb, house-made focaccia, seasonal fruit, and crostini - would definitely be a way to go. My dining partner chose a slightly different route with her House of Grilled Cheese sandwich (pictured), which featured Reading Raclette, Taleggio, butter brioche and also a bowl of incredibly delicious San Marzano tomato soup. Another sandwich you might consider - highly recommended by a friend - is the Balsamic Chicken. Sequestered between two slices of toasted ciabatta, the moist marinated breast is aided and abetted by Caciocavallo cheese, roasted red peppers, arugula, basil, slathered with roasted garlic aioli, and accompanied by house-made potato chips. The Soup & Salad category included the aforementioned tomato soup and items such as Summer Panzanella, Di Bruno Bros. Caesar, and an interesting combo of Burrata & Brussels Sprouts set on a pillow of toasted rustic bread flooded with a Medjool date sauce. Interesting... and the sprouts were done to a turn, but the sauce was very, very (almost offputtingly) sweet. The Plates definitely hold some solid possibilities: House-Made Meatballs, for instance, or Roasted Branzino. But the two pasta dishes are particularly noteworthy... The Cacio E Pepe is basically spaghetti simply seasoned with cheese & pepper. In this case, the cheeses are pecorino Romano and parmigiano Reggiano. But the pepper is quite special. Tellicherry peppercorns are considered a highly prized variety of black pepper due to their complex flavors, which include woodsy and citrus notes. And for those who prefer their pasta with a tad more zip, the Spicy Sausage Rigatoni (pictured) - fennel sausage swimming in a savory tomato ragù, sprinkled with parmigiano Reggiano, and topped with rich & creamy Stracciarella cheese - is equally satisfying. Dolci, "sweets," are somewhat limited, but still worth considering... The Seasonal Gelato & Sorbetto are locally sourced from the Fiore Restaurant. For purists, the Affogato may be just the ticket. Traditionally known as Affogato al Caffè, this coffee-based dessert usually takes the form of a scoop of plain milk-flavored or vanilla gelato or ice cream "drowned" with a shot of hot espresso. The third option is the Chocolate Budino, an Italian pudding made from a milk & egg custard thickened with cornstarch. While similar to American puddings and custards, Budino has a richer, eggier texture, somewhat akin to Mexican flan... On the other hand, their pastry department (pictured) is just a few steps away. If nothing quite appeals, you can always make a quick stop and savor your dessert at home. By the way, Di Bruno Bros. also serves Saturday and Sunday brunch from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
