Pretty cool place. I had a gift card to use so picked up some goodies to try. Some stuff was a bit overpriced and others not so much. The Korean wings were pricey (most wings are!) - $17 for 12 - but my husband really liked them. The chicken salad was also pricey - $15 a pound - it is good though, but the larger chunks of chicken in it were dry. The dips and other salads were all quite good. The Buffalo chicken dip is the best I've ever had - not a lot of chicken in it, but that is what I liked about it. The caramelized onion and gruyere dip was also fabulous. Loved the potato salad and the farro and butternut squash salad. I would definitely go back for the salads and dips - they were really that good.

Like it's counterparts in Philly and elsewhere, Di Bruno Bros. is part market, part cafe, part wine store, part bakery, part bar, part take out. A lot of great options here warm dishes such as pastas, meats, chicken parm, meatballs, fish, etc. I recommend the Pasta Carmella for sharing. It's a cheesy pasta dish with a kick and really hits the spot. The deli area features delicious sandwiches, fresh cheeses, veggies, salads and more. You can pick up supplies, or sit down and have your charcuterie experience in the seating area. I love grabbing some Crostini crackers with a good cheese from the deli section, or otherwise love their sandwiches paired with a nice green salad or potato salad. The seating area is located right near a bar where you can enjoy a cocktail or mixed drink. The nearby cafe offers coffee, teas and light baked goods, in addition to those available in the store. The wine section has some unique bottles that aren't as commonly found in Chester County, but you pay a premium. For example, some labels are a good 30-50% higher than you can find elsewhere, albeit not always immediately nearby. I don't mind paying for the convenience, but going from $80 to $120 for the same bottle can be a bit much. During peak times the place can get a little crowded, with seating at a bar in premium. During off-peak, it can be very relaxing a chill. The lunch crowd begins to break the further into the afternoon you go. I find this is the best way to enjoy your visit to Di Bruno Bros. Consider stopping by for brunch, or in the mid-afternoon. Admittedly this location could probably use a little more staff training. On several occasions I've had staff slap the wrong receipt on a food item (always more expensive) and I've had to have it corrected so I didn't overpay. It can also be hard to get the attention of someone behind the counter if you require assistance. Everyone is helpful, but there's always a lingering sense of disinterest at this location compared to others. Di Bruno Bros. brings together the best aspects of Italian food and drink under one roof. I'd recommend it for just about any casual dining occasion, or if you're looking to find certain ingredients and items that aren't as common in chain grocery stores.

We stopped by for coffee and pastries and were not disappointed. Ordered almond croissaints and the goat cheese, spinach breakfast sandwich which were both delicious. There are so many other specialty food items that is offered at the store. What an awesome find!

    The Burrata Experience

Stopped by to grab lunch at Alimentari, the bar located in the center of the Di Bruno Bros farmer's market style space. My sister and I shared the Caesar Salad, Burrata Experience, and the pizza option for the daily special and the sausage options. We especially enjoyed the burrata, the cherry tomatoes were perfectly ripe! The sausage pizza was okay, but not my favorite because the broccoli rabe was too bitter and charred. The pizza of the day had peaches, whipped ricotta, prosciutto, and a balsamic glaze. I felt there was a bit too much balsamic. Both pizzas were very crisp and doughy at the same time, which is a great combo. I used some of the pizza crust to dip into the remaining burrata. The caesar salad was good, but the dressing was lighter. I prefer a creamier caesar dressing. One note is that one order of pizza is two large square (more rectangular) slices. They are very generous portions that are filling! My sister and I cut each one in half to share them. This paired with the fact that I ate burrata and salad left me unable to finish both of my portions of the pizza. I was skeptical that we had ordered enough, but everything was very filling! Other aspects of this Di Bruno Bros location that you should not miss: - A great pastry selection featuring items from Isgros! Those riccotta cookies are delicious. - The local beer selection has a great variety and you can make your own four pack. - Some of the most beautiful Olive Oil bottles I've ever seen. - The cheese selection and the ability to sample cheeses before buying them! What more needs to be said about this?! They also have a small cafe with tables to sit and enjoy your coffee, or any other food items you buy in the store. This location is like taking a trip to Philly, but with way easier parking!

Adding a high profile, modern, city-like eating and shopping space does tremendous service to a strip of dated storefronts. Walk in and senses kick in, like a mini Eataly from NYC. Beautiful meats, cheeses, breads, and prepared foods line the walls. Exquisite olive oils and vinegars beckon in kiosks in the middle. Desserts and wines end the journey. A masterful variety fro grapes to wine, olives to oil. Get in and get some.

    Our waitress!!

Ravioli was delicious. Server was exceptionally nice and good. Sat outside it was a nice lunch.

This Main Line gem is privately owned and consistently delivers on what I'd describe as a curated, tasteful menu of appetizers and entrées. It's the kind of place that feels intentional -- elevated without being overdone. Stop in on a Saturday afternoon for a quiet, cozy lunch at the bar -- the pulled pork, burger, and salads are always a great choice. Or, for a Friday date night, grab a seat at the chef's counter for a more interactive and lively experience. The pork chop and steak frites are standouts. One tip: make reservations in advance. And to those calling out the wait staff -- I understand the sentiment. When you're investing in a night out, you expect warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. Great service matters, and it's something many places are still finding their way back to. That said, Cornerstone remains a spot worth experiencing for the food, the atmosphere, and the overall charm.

In the rear of the shop, past the fine cheeses, freshly baked baguettes, and clam chowder that is to die for, Chef Mark has a small kitchen area and raised settings for 10 lucky people to sit, watch and learn as Chef Mark and his Sous Chef Ethan prepare a themed menu upon which the class participants get to enjoy. And enjoy is truly an understatement!!!! I've taken three of the classes and have booked three more. My first class was Italian steak which began with a hearty white bean, escarole, and sausage soup, followed by a fresh and balanced panzanella salad, which the class dined happily on while Chef Mark prepared the main event. It was a 2+ inch thick steak topped with Gorgonzola cheese and a caramelized onion sauce. The taste, size, and quality of this steak was not to be believed!!! Chef Mark must have some deep connection to the Beef Gods themselves. In short, a magnificent meal where I met some very nice people, learned a lot from Chef Mark who is low key but very personable and full of entertaining stories of his life and career as a chef including tips on buying quality, healthy, ingredients!! My last class was a Greek themed class. It began with a tasty starter of slices of his fantastic, and freshly made baguettes and a dipping sauce of whipped feta, topped with finely diced green onion, garlic, and sundried tomato!! The Chef does not play when he is tempting your taste buds. It was delicious!!! This was followed by a Greek Lemon Chicken Soup which tasted so fresh, clean, and healthy, I designated it as the first new recipe I will try and make myself. The chicken, carrots, and soft rice in a yummy lemon tinged chicken stock was pure heaven!!! And if I hadn't already had a fork stuck in me, I'm done feeling the main course is ready!! 2 inch thick lamb chops sourced from the Greek Gods themselves, over crispy, browned roasted potatoes which were also covered with the pan drippings!!! Just kill me now so I can die a happy man!!! Or maybe just wait till after dessert!!! Once again, a fantastic meal taught simply by a fantastic Chef, and Sous Chef and enjoyed completely by a nice group of people who wanted to learn and expand their culinary horizons. Chef Mark and Sous Chef Ethan without a doubt nourished our minds and even more importantly our bellies!!! Take a class and savor the experience!!!!

Yes, there was some overlap, but overall, it was a very wide selection of food and merchandise....my wife even bought a purse here! The second thing I noticed was the high quality meat and produce. If I lived close by, this is where I would shop.
