Systems - like needing to hold a minimum of $1000 in your account for incidental spending that does not need approval. My request is that all spending needs to be discussed and approved. We are in the digital age. There would never be an instance where i can not be reached. But he's got old school "systems" that no longer holds water and may not be most efficient for modern digital/AI age. Yes WES BaeSSEMER did put in a very reliable trustworthy tenant -- but left it empty for 2 1/2 mos during peak rental season with almost no showing per our continuous camera recording and our door lock that notifies us when the door is unlocked, or a garage door is opened. While I had multiple people knock on my door to inquire about it. I sent these folks his way. He did have other properties he diverts prospects to. He told me this is what he does. That this would be a benefit for us. Though you could see how it also would not be. Incidentally all his listings that sat there previously for months got filled! There were previous reviews that questioned whether the property was actually rented or whether he just chose not to show it.

Most recently I stayed a week ago and my experience has always been great. This hotel has always been no frills, low cost hotel for people like myself that travel places to go out and explore. If you are more of the type that enjoys the extra amenities this may not be you top choice but for me its perfect. Super close to the Encinitas train station (a couple blocks away; walkable) along across the street is a variety of stores, a supermarket, places to eat, and a gas station. It is only a few blocks away from downtown Encinitas where there is a huge abundance of restaurants, bars, coffee, and mom and pop shops. Also very close to the ocean. My customer service has always been great. I always call in ahead to verify my reservation and at times have arrive before check in and they are happy to set me up in a room early if there is one available. Most recently they have upgraded the rooms and done a whole face lift on all of them. A very nice touch. New beds, new paint, new TVs, new showers, new barn bathroom doors and hard wood floors Even before the face lift the room have always been clean, no bugs, and a very basic place to stay with no issues. They have a community pool that I have never checked out personally but it is there is you are interested. This location deserves more credit than it get here on yelp.
