Attention to details make a difference, and this was one of the best restaurant meals I've had in awhile. My business partner agreed. We came in on a weeknight at dinner time with no reservation, so we had to sit at the bar (which was just fine). [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is very upscale but comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was impeccable. The bartender (Kevin?) was engaging and attentive, as were others working behind the bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They make you kind of feel like regulars, and that vibe led to good conversations with other patrons.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drink menu is impressive, with the usual classics but also many variants on them; all of which sounded really good. My business partner had the Ube Sour. The flavors, including Sweet Potato powder, where unique and really good. I had a Vesper that was prepared perfectly. Pricing on the wines by the glass were very good and the selection was excellent. My business partner had the Seafood Pasta with squid ink spaghetti. He loved it and the spicy tomato sauce. There was plenty of perfectly cooked seafood. I had the roasted Sea Bass with Broccolini. So good! But what really got me was an add-on side of Seafood Mashed Potatoes. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was wonderful enough to be an entree by itself. Shrimp and Langostinos in an incredible cream sauce over buttery mashed potatoes (see pic). Desserts were also excellent. My business partner had what I think was a coconut crema, which he loved. I had two scoops of house made ice cream (vanilla and pistachio) with berries; also very, very good. I mentioned attention to details at the start. An example of this watching staff behind the bar polishing glasses. Polishing, not just washing. I watched one person spend almost 5 minutes polishing a single champagne class; constantly checking it for spots before putting in on the shelf. That's attention to detail!
Went for brunch on Sunday with friends try the buffet buffet for me can be very overwhelming. They had some good options but whether or not I think it's worth $85. That's the huge question. Shrimp and grits were really good. The lamb chops were amazing. Bake oysters were good. Those were pass around items. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They did keep the buffet area. I'm pretty clean and put together.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Korean chicken wings were amazing The service of the waiters was awesome. I mean some waiters were a little bit more intensive than others and recommend recommended. Things suggested things gave additional contacts but all in all everyone was very attentive as well as the servers and the runners. Not sure I'll be back for brunch maybe I'll just come for the Alcott menu during the week.

You get to pick from list of added hot dishes from a set menu; along with some up charges for additional items. However, all of the times on the buffet are more than enough. They go from bacon and eggs, shrimps and grits, seafood fried rice, crayfish, crabs, crab legs, lobster tails, sushi, various salads and fruits and desserts. Along with the food was amazing service. The wait staff was attentive and tended to your table like you were the only table there. They brought you hot towels to clean your hands between plates. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As far as the ambiance, again it was very classy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The linen table clothes, to decorative napkin rings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Again, the price and service charge for service are both worth it. We will be back. I went with a party of 6 and everyone was pleased.
I highly recommend Sea Grill if interested in a fine dining experience. I have visited at least 3x. Food and service have been consistently excellent. So far, my favorite dish is Pasta Alla Ruota and Queen of Everything is my favorite cocktail. They are also very helpful in assisting planning for private reservation/event. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is sophisticated and has generally been peaceful on the occasions that I have gone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I definitely have every intention on returning repeatedly to try as much on the menu as I can!
Sea Grill has been on my list of restaurants to visit since it opened and when my brunch group said this month's brunch would be here I said "of course I'm going". From the entry to when I left, the experience and service was spectacular. I had the lychee martini which was so smooth and beautiful. For my meal I had the best shrimp and grits with blue crab that I've ever had in life. Nicely seasoned, creamy grits and the sauce was delicious. I also had oysters rockerfeller and they were not gritty or fishy at all. Just the right amount of seasoning and cheeses. The highlight - our hostess Dina. She was attentive without hovering, explained everything on the menu and took her time helping us sort out the bill. If I come back I certainly would like to be at her table. This is an experience that's worth the money. I will surely be back!
The girls and I went to the brunch buffet here, and seafood lovers one is for YOU! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really impressive display plus the overall decor is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very attentive and patient (lol) service. Fresh, high quality, and lots of variety. Crab legs, blue crab, saffron salmon, seafood fried rice, salmon and shrimp pasta, ceviche, oysters, crab croquettes, lamb chops, shrimp and grits, tiger shrimp tempura plus more traditional fare like waffles, bacon, and roasted potatoes, and so much more. Even if you don't eat some of those items (like myself) you will NOT leave hungry unless you do it wrong. TIP: There's a 2-hour time limit, so be efficient!
I am not easily impressed with anything these days, but Sea Grill exceeded my expectations!! Wow, amazing dinner and great drinks. I came here for Christmas dinner for something different. I had the best Branzino of my life! It was amazing, seasoned to perfection and served as if I was the Queen of Whales LOL. Lemon drop was nice while my daughter had the Strawberry fizz mocktail, which was very bitter -not my thing. Inside is stunning!! Great for groups, dates, solo dates, just come. The bar was also very chill with the dim lights and smooth music. I think I called all my contacts to brag about this dinner. I'll be back Jan 11th with my brunch group. It was that good. 1000/10
"Impressed" is an understatement!! --Sea Grill truly does fine dining right. I had the pleasure of dining here for Sunday brunch over a week ago, and I'm still thinking about how incredible the experience was. Let's start with the ambiance. The setting is formal, complete with tablecloths, cloth napkins with rings, and proper place settings. Yet, it does give stuffy or pretentious, as some fine dining restaurants can. The space was transformed into a festive holiday atmoshper that made the experience even better ! The service was top-tier. My water glass was never empty, my napkin was continuously refolded, and crumbs were promptly cleared from the table. The attention to detail was impeccable--truly Michelin-star-worthy service. And then there's the food--wow. The brunch buffet offered a variety that left me in awe. Options ranged from sushi to crab legs, shrimp and grits, bacon, blue crabs, and crawfish--a seafood lover's dream. There was also a salad and dessert section. In addition, a separate à la carte menu is included in the price, featuring items such as waffles, lamb, soups, and crab croquettes, just to name a few. Without a doubt, Sea Grill has become my new favorite restaurant in the city. I cannot wait to return. A few helpful notes: Parking is available in the Queen City Quarter garage (formerly Epicentre); the restaurant does not validate parking. Weekend brunch has a 2.5-hour table limit. From the moment I stepped into Sea Grill, I knew this was going to be a different kind of evening -- in the best possible way. The attention to detail was immediate and undeniable. The place settings, the décor, the layout, even the lighting -- everything felt intentional, elevated, and designed to impress without being pretentious. And the staff? You could instantly tell you were in the hands of true professionals. From seating to our final goodbye, the service was impeccable. Every interaction felt thoughtful and polished. The team was sharply dressed, warm, and perfectly balanced attentiveness with making sure we could enjoy our evening without interruption. Simply put: the service was flawless. Now, I'll be honest -- the menu is a bit overwhelming at first glance. Not in a bad way, but in a "wow, I want to order everything" way. I decided to kick things off with a cocktail, going with the Smoked Old-Fashioned. And let me tell you... phenomenal. The presentation alone made it worth ordering, but the flavor profile took it to another level -- easily one of the best Old-Fashioneds I've ever had. For appetizers, we chose the Salmon Sensation Sashimi, which looked like a literal work of art. Beautifully plated with color, texture, and precision, it almost felt wrong to touch it. But once I did? Game over. The flavors were mind-blowing -- fresh sashimi with a subtle kick and a savory avocado undertone woven perfectly into the sauce. Absolutely unforgettable. For my main dish, I went with the Chilean Seabass, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this was a level 10, out-of-this-world experience. Perfectly prepared, perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. Hands-down the best Chilean Seabass I've ever had. Truly exceptional. We also enjoyed their Seafood Mashed Potatoes, a unique and delicious side loaded with lobster, crab, and shrimp. Creamy, flavorful, and something everyone should try at least once -- it's that good. Even though I was completely full by the end, I couldn't resist the Tiramisu, especially after hearing about its unique presentation. Worth it. Not only was it excellent -- I actually took one back to my hotel room to enjoy later. Zero regrets. Overall, this was an absolutely incredible dining experience from start to finish. The food, the service, the atmosphere -- everything was executed at the highest level. I'll 100% be back on my next trip to Charlotte, and I'm giving this visit a perfect score. Truly a memorable evening and an amazing night out with a friend.
I will forever rave about this place! I came for the weekend brunch and the quality of food you get for what you pay is phenomenal! Everything was fresh and the service was amazing. The dining room is very upscale with plenty photo opportunities. You have the option to order freshly made items like lamb chops in addition to the buffet. I would drive an hour and half any day for this experience!
We loved our experience at Sea Grill. The service was impeccable. We had been to Sea grill for brunch which was also good but we were eager to try it for dinner. We shared the pasta Alla Ruota - homemade pasta in a creamy sauce and it's served with truffle. It was prepared table side. My friend and I both enjoyed or meal and the optics from the prep. The ambiance at dinner time was great and we both loved the decor.

Did a birthday celebration using the Romantic Wednesday 3-Course Dinner for Two for $100 which featured the Salt-Baked Branzino. It accompanied 2 starters. We chose the Mango Surprise Sushi and Cheese Tower and 2 deserts. We also ordered 2 of the Millionaire's Oysters. The food display was phenomenal. The freshness was there too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff laid roses on the table and nestled us in the corner. If you're looking for romance (we weren't) this is it![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Oysters were not in the package but they're amazing. The Umami elevated them tremendously, the taste was divine. I'm not a fan of caviar but the taste was delicious nonetheless. The star of the show was the Branzino. It was moist and flaky with a delectable butter and caper sauce. I was throughly enjoying each bite. There was a plethora of chard veggies that were robustly seasoned. By the time the fish came we were definitely full but it was delicious. The Mango Surprise was filling in bits elf. The Mango was sweet and soft and played well with the soy sauce and sweet imitation crab. The cheese Tower was amazing. The 3 cheese was robust. I believe it was Bri, Blue and Im not sure the 3rd but it was my favorite. The berries were huge and very succulent, the nuts were honey coated and the honey and Jam sealled it. It was a beautiful presentation. We both settled on Crème brûlée because its our favorite. However the Cherry Brownie was brought was a birthday birthday treat with candle. The service was phenomenal. The moment you entere the staff is top tier in presentation and presence. I can't wait to try their brunch! read more
We came here for dinner before the Matt Rife show at the Spectrum Center. It is a short walk to the venue so perfect location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is beautifully decorated inside and there are tv screens playing aquarium scenes all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server wasn't the most attentive, but he came around eventually. We ordered the burrata, crab cakes, cucumbers, sashimi, and wagyu gyoza for appetizers. The wagyu and shashimi were stand outs on the list. The cocktails were also delicious and I highly recommend the Queen of Everything. I had the crab salad for dinner. Others at our table had the lobster risotto, beef Wellington, and royal catch tasting. Everyone left happy with full bellies. There are many other things I wanted to try on the menu, especially brunch. I hope to be back the next time I am in Charlotte. read more

Nothing but great things to say about Sea Grill! The interior has been fully renovated tastefully & with great detail from the comfortable suede chairs to the meticulously polished silverware. We dined during a Friday afternoon and ordered from the brunch menu. First, the cocktails: chocolate old fashion & a crisp & refreshing Pinot Gris from the extensive beverage menu. For starters we had the seafood tower with lobster tails, shrimp cocktail, mussels, & oysters on the half shell. We quickly devoured everything on the platter as it was fresh & succulent. Then came the entrees: I went with the lobster roll which was served with fries & a tossed salad. It was served warm & literally melted in my mouth. My date had the chicken waffles and let me tell you, this is not your typical rendition of the dish. The wings were fried to perfection & were doused in a sweet chili sauce. The waffles were just the right texture. The service was top notch with very knowledgeable staff. The restrooms were extremely clean as well. So happy we got to experience this place and we can't wait to dine here again. read more
WOW! Unreal! Most places scale back or mail in restaurant week. Not Sea Grill First note, they do have a dress code. Make sure to be properly dressed. The food was insane! Taco Roll and Samurai Roll were both incredible. The Halibut was easily the best piece of fish I've had in Charlotte. It was so good I went back the next night to see if they could repeat it and they did! The chocolate cherry trifle was an amazing dessert. The interior is simply stunning! Everything is beautiful and well done! Service is top notch and it's easy to see why they are so popular. Highly recommend! Easy walk from CTC/Arena light rail stop. read more
Wow. Just wow. This is definitely the fanciest meal I've ever had before. We were in town for our anniversary so we splurged more on food than we've ever splurged. The waiter had white gloves. Random silverware showed up throughout and we got warm towels after our entree. We were there for New Year's Eve so the menu was pre selected but we were not disappointed. read more

So this I am a frequent flyer at Sea Grill and I consistently sing their praises about the fantastic food however this time I want to spotlight the service. A couple of Sunday's ago we had the pleasure of having Cynthia serve us and let me tell you it was definitely an upgraded experience. Our service has always been good but Cynthia is top tier! She recommended their featured drink for brunch which was a sangria made with mostly apples and it paired perfectly. She also recommended a dessert wine that had a hint of pear. Her recommendations were on point and so was her personality. She not only kept things entertaining but her service never faulted. Our table stayed clean, drinks, stayed full, it's like she read our minds and brought us things before we even needed them. Of course the entire team is always fantastic but Cynthia has been our favorite by far. As always the food was mouth watering. I think my husband ordered 4 waffles before he was finally finished. They say you get what you pay for and that is true for Sea Grill - the food and the service never fails us! We can't wait to go back! read more

This restaurant is so overrated. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. There is no parking accommodating for customers. Parking for valet parking was $40. They do not validate parking nor was that information available on their website. We enter the restaurant, [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I forgot the waitress name, she was nice, but we could have gotten way better service from The Cheesecake Factory for these prices on the menu. I feel like the waitress could use more training. They brought out some type of bread hard as a rock, we could not eat it. Our entree was the red snapper and Bronzino fish. It was very delicious and full of flavor. Our waitress suggested menu items. One of those menu items she suggested for starters were a sushi and the crab balls, we told her that we did not want those items that we would take the oysters and calamari instead. Moments later 3 waiters came to the table with this Sword Set with sushi on it we were lost with words and told them we did not order that, then they came with crab balls so we had a total of at least 5 servers at our table all except our waitress. Everyone had a confusion look on their face. She was not present at the time when this food brought to us she came to me. She said oh you guys ordered the sushi and the crab balls and we pacifically told her no we did not want those items you suggested. I told you I want calamari instead you suggested the swordfish sushi to my husband, but he said he wanted oysters instead. No apologies. Immediately I was turned off. We ordered the Pasta AllaRuota was not impressed, the server had brought the pasta out to the waitress already smothered in cheese from the kitchen. So all she did was overcook it even more or just reheated. It wasn't that good. Seem like our waitress was just suggesting things that were high price items. My husband asked for a red wine she suggested the most expensive glass of wine on the menu that was $47. We didn't realize that until we received our ticket which ended up being $350. How do I know our trust if that what she billed us for was it a cheaper glass but she billed us for an expensive glass of wine. Again I was not impressed. I had way better service at other high-end restaurants than this. If you guys gonna have overpriced menu items your service should be top-tier..for such a Top-Rated Upscale restaurant. I will not return here, there are better places like Eddies Seafood, Steak 48 and Beef & Bottle and RH Rooftop these places service and food are not overrated but definitely Top-Tier. read more
It took me long enough, but I finally made it to Sea Grill. A friend invited me out for her 40th birthday and I was excited, as I have heard great things about Sea Level. So it was on my list of places to try. This was a Saturday night. The Bad: Before I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was annoyed to have to pay $30 at the epicenter. What type of high end restaurant doesn't have parking or validate? Tacky. Service was so sloooooooooowwwww. It took forever to take drink orders, then a long time before coming back for appetizer orders, then a long time before coming back for main course order. Our waitress was decent. However after the food was brought out, she took FOREVER to come back. As in if there was something wrong, there wasn't anyone to tell because she was not seen or heard from for 20+ minutes. My friend had a birthday cake and it took FOREVER for them to bring out the cake. I'm not sure whether they were understaffed or what, but when it was all said and done, we were there for 2.5-3 hours. From a business perspective, profits must be impacted by the inefficiencies of service. The Good: After I made it in, there was no issue with seating and we had a private area. The waitress was patient, answering all questions and making recommendations. The food quality was great. It tasted fresh. I had calamari, which was seasoned well enough. The Chilean Sea Bass tasted straight from the sea. Cooked perfectly. The celery root puree that I wanted substituted was actually the highlight of the plate and needed to add flavor to the fish and broccoli. The broccoli could've used a little salt or a sprinkle of lemon. Overally, it was a good meal. I tasted a friend's taco sushi and it was solid. The other hightlight are the drinks. I had a lychee martini, which was awesome. Everyone enjoyed their drink. Entertainment was present with whimsical characters around. It added to the ambiance. Not sure whether that's normal or special occasion, but it added some unexpected sparkle to the experience. Overall, I would return to Sea Grill. As the night went on, my rating went from 5 to 4 due to the service lacking. With a few tweaks, they are capable of being a five star dining experience. read more

Let's begin with parking. I like that parking is attached to the restaurant but I wished it was validated as a patron of The Epic Center. The inside was simply gorgeous and very classy. I decided to meet a friend for dinner. We shared the mango sushi roll , shrimp stuffed salmon, and the pasta . We were bothvery pleased with our meal. I will definitely come back for a special occasion because the pasta was a little pricey based on the protein being a la carte. I had a wonderful experience. read more

You are coming here for all your special occasions, especially if you want to impress your date or business colleague. Sea grill is quite pricey. But the service, the classy decor, the quality of the food, and the drinks. Is truly justified to me. I had a really good experience dining here. Old fashioned- was made with perfection Lamb chops- Juicy lamb chops made exactly to my liking (medium) came with I believe pesto sauce and potatoes. Entree was perfect read more

Just left their Valentine's Day dinner. They make you a $50 deposit and don't take it off of your bill. We were all put on the second floor, way too close to other guests. They made us place our full order when we sat down. Eventually they served everyone (Us and other patrons) at the same time like it was a wedding reception. Our server did the best she could with what she had. The food was mundane and was not worth the $450 price. I've eaten at Hells Kitchen, Fleming's, Eddie V's, and they didn't charge us as much as Sea Grill did. I DO NOT recommend. read more

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I made a reservation just 30 minutes in advance and mentioned it was my wife's birthday. When we arrived, there was a personalized note and a rose waiting for her at the table, which was such a thoughtful touch. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed. The service from Michael was attentive and informative, the drinks--her mocktail and my cocktail--were excellent, and the food was simply outstanding. The Crab Croquettes were packed with meat, not filler, I enjoyed the Branzino, and she had the Lobster. We'll definitely be back. Even though we live in Greensboro, this place is worth the trip. read more

Enjoyed a nice Brunch for our Anniversary. The buffet was nice. I wished for more non pork breakfast items. And more than 2 desserts. But other items were good. Hand claps for the ceviche, lobster tails, and lambchops! So much flavor. Lychee mimosa was very good as well. Kudos to the establishment for giving us a rose, card, and a taste of champagne for our anniversary. The decor is simple and upscale, and customer service was attentive. Can't wait to return again! read more

From the hostess that greeted us to our server Paxton and all the extremely polite and courteous waiters, this was an exceptionally pleasant experience and the food was amazing!! It was my youngest son's birthday. We made reservations and they pulled out all the decor and gifts to make it an exceptionally special evening for him. The restaurant is located at the Epicenter so you can enter the parking deck either at N. Tryon or 4th St and park on level P1 in the deck and go up 1 floor and the restaurant is on the main floor on College Street side. The food was fantastic. The service was great!!! The decor is elegant and beautiful. We followed the dress code but I did see a few guests come in that DID NOT adhere to the dress code but nothing was said to them and they were still allowed to stay. I was told over the phone that they have a strict dress code. No shorts, jeans, T-shirts, flip flops, no ball caps or street wear. I saw everything except a ball cap being worn. We also got a tour of the upstairs area. It can be used for private events. Simply beautiful. The bill was extremely high but it was worth it. The food and service were amazing! Sea Grill is one of the nicest, most elegant restaurants in all of Charlotte.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is amazing and it was a perfect spot to take my girlfriend for her birthday. She really wanted the Pasta Alla Ruota that she had seen on Instagram and it was delicious. The pasta was extremely filling, so be prepared to only order that and maybe a drink, it is much more filling than you'd expect. I was very happy with our time here and would love to go again soon. read more
