Wow what an experience! I'm in Charlotte for the weekend, and my good friend's colleague recommended we come here after dinner for drinks. There's outdoor seating, and initially we wanted to sit outside but we didn't have reservations. Luckily, they seated us at a small corner section near the back of the bar. It's very cozy and intimate inside. Just my type of vibe. The service was top tier. They were unable to validate our parking because of some sort of discrepancy with the signage outside and lack of having the proper equipment for validation. To make up for it, they offered us complimentary champagne to start. We were not expecting that, and pleasantly surprised! Their menu has an eclectic selection of cocktails, both full and mini. We opted to order from the mini cocktail menu, and we each ordered two drinks. I had the Creepy cucumber cocktail and it was refreshingly sweet and probably my favorite drink of the night. I also ordered the Don't Shy Away which was a sour and spicy rum concoction with carrot in it. It was definitely spicy and had a puréed texture. I really enjoyed it. And, then don't get me started on the music!!! The dj was masterful. He played all the types of music I love and he mixed them in such a refreshing way. I ended up asking him for his contact information before leaving, and whether he does weddings because my fiancé and I are currently looking for a DJ. He was just that good. This would definitely be my spot if I lived here in Charlotte. It was the perfect way for us to end the night.
Ugh, I so wanted to LOVE this place! It's in my friend's neighborhood and near some other spots we love. But it just hit me as average. It's a small intimate setting and I do love the dark aesthetic they did. Gives it a swanky vibe and makes a great date spot. But they were burning incense in the tiny space and it was overwhelming. The other bar guests sitting next to us agreed. *They did finally pick up on it and the staff moved it toward the kitchen door* Staff was friendly as well, though, it was busy and looked as if they had a trainee in tow, so attention was lacking just a bit. So why we came: The drinks were average to me. One was weird (Pineapple Fried Rice) and I just couldn't get it sit well on my palate - and I tried - sip after sip. But the mixologist saw my struggle and swapped it out for a different one. I did like the Don't Shy Away - it was an interesting take on a margarita with a strong carrot base. The Whispering Dove was a take on a Paloma and I couldn't find the lemongrass infusion on my palate. So I found it pretty basic, but pricey. So overall, decent. And I might stop buy if I was stuck in the area again.
I went for a girls night out. This was my first time. Parking was tight but I got a spot close by. We had reservations which I would suggest as it is not very large. They don't have food but have lite bites. There is a spot next door that you can bring in which is nice. I got a drink and it was good. Didn't get anything special but my friends did and loved them. I think everyone got one of the speciality drinks. I enjoyed the experience and they have a hidden bathroom. I will definitely be back to enjoy an evening out.
Sneak gets every 5-star I've got! Yes, it's THAT good! Sneak is located in the Elizabeth neighborhood of Charlotte and is a gem! Inside, while not the biggest, uses the space in a great way! It actually gives you cozy, intimate vibes! Sneak has amazing drinks, smalls bites (or bring your own food) and excellent music and vibes! Service was amazing and everything was on point! Can't wait to go back!
Super nice vibe, delicious cocktails and a fancy restroom! So this spot I highly recommend trying them out. It's a nice vibe, really great live music (jazz piano and singing) and great service. She was available but not too much. For one drink I asked for green chartreuse and dark aged rum and it was delicious. The second drink was their special called the love potion which is a mezcal based drink and it was very good if you like mezcal. The bartender knew what he was doing. The old fashioned was very good, small quantity as expected, but the quality was great. Also, check out the restroom it is cute. They ran out of all their snacks so we could not get any food so maybe next time we can try that. Over all a great speakeasy type vibe.
Sneak is a super cute bar lounge with a very laid back vibe. I enjoyed hanging out here with a group of friends (make a reservation for a large group). It's a small spot so be prepared to sit near others. They have a small bites menu however the restaurant next door (Bang Bang Burgers) will bring you food if you go next door to order it. The drink was amazing and the hostess was attentive. There is outdoor seating with heating lamps and also music.
Friends have been telling me about this spot for awhile. I finally made time to go and check it out. We went on a Wednesday in order to take advantage of Tiny Desk Wednesdays and to celebrate a friend's birthday. Thankfully we made reservations in advance since we had a larger party. Sneak is very intimate with seating at the bar as well as a few tables. They offer a very limited food (think snacks) menu. Our server was patient with us as we asked all the questions. Lol. Some of us ordered from the drinks that were on special, whole others opted to try other drinks. Everyone was really happy with their orders. Despite it being a Wednesday, it stayed pretty busy. The owner even came over to check on us. Overall, this is a great little spot to enjoy a nice vibe and drinks. I'll definitely be back!
You may need reservations if you come later! Super cool spot my girls and I went to after an early dinner! If you don't want a full cocktail they have mini options! I had the creeper cucumber! So yummy and refreshing on a hot night. My friend had the toasted rice pineapple--- we don't recommend! Too much soy sauce. And our other friend got a yummy mini espresso martini. She loved the small glass it came in. It was very small maybe two shots worth. We sat inside and it was a very cool vibe to bring a date or hang with friends before going out! It's like a luxe speakeasy vibe super cool! Oh and the hostess was amazing super friendly! She seemed to be the server and hostess! So be patient Tip: Oh and bring cash! You'll get a discount. Or not charge the credit card fees
We enjoyed our time at SneakCLT. We went after work. The venue is on the smaller side and got crowded quickly... seemed like it was a neighborhood cocktail bar where people gathered for happy hour. We attended for an event . The drinks were good and the people in my party enjoyed theirs. Service was great too, bartender remade made my drink since I wasn't really satisfied with his recommendation.
I truly loved hanging out at sneak. From the music to the lighting and ambiance. Definitely gives you late night cocktail vibes. The team was extremely nice and so knowledgeable about their craft cocktails. Definitely recommend. I went Tuesday night and got to try their mini cocktail flight that was definitely took me on a journey of flavor and expression.
We came in on a Saturday around 8. It was pretty full, it's a intimate space. They also have outside seating. Best to try to have reservations but we got lucky. I ordered the Don't shy away, which had tequila, carrot sour... Yes I said carrot sour... And a few other things. Presentation was pretty and the drink was oh so tasty... I ordered 2. Cocktails address and 15-20 dollars. They have different events and specials throughout the week. The staff was super friendly and I enjoyed my visit. Try them out!
I can't believe it's taken me this long to get to Sneak. We sat at the bar on a Tuesday night--it was nearly empty. The drinks are made with care and attention. Tuesday nights, they watch Tiny Desk videos and it's open to anyone to update. I would love to come other nights, but definitely enjoyed this evening.
Amazing craft cocktail bar in Elizabeth area of Charlotte .....they know their drinks here for sure. Service was amazing, every bartender there knew every drink and every liquor they sold . Small and intimate setting inside with couch seating and bar seating and a few outdoor but your in a parking lot . They serve some classic drinks and they have an awesome creative cocktail menu.With wine and beer too and a few small bar bites. We sat at the bar as that's the place to see all the action ! We tried several drinks and everyone was so good and truly unique. I had the honest deception and Don't shy away. Both very different, one was a tad spicy with carrot sour and the other was creamy and floral . My friends had the slick SOB and the silent seranade . Also the mezcal negroni and clear ambiguity. All of these are so cleverly constructed and intense in taste. They have definitely done their research . We also had the fresh baked bread, which essentially was ciabatta with a cheese and herb spread and a red pepper jelly. Good to soak up the alcohol ! Don't forget to visit the nice bathroom behind the bookcase! Loved this little gem . Hard to find a bar these days that creates each drink rather than batches them. Recommend a reservation on weekends as it is small inside . Great bar to start or end at in Elizabeth.

This is a bar for the GIRLS I was so pleasantly surprised when my partner and I came here and it was just the cutest little bar We came here to pre game dinner and it was a great experience the seating in here is limited but we had no problem finding a seat on the weekend. They have a bunch of different weekly things that go on here such as movie nights and so on. This is not a bar where guys can be dude bros this is definitely where the girls come to gossip and have little snacks and I love everything about that. The only men I saw here were with women and I think that was 3 including mine ABSOLUTELY coming back with friends and ordering a bunch of appetizers and drinks everything here looks as good as it tastes and the drinks are strong! The staff here is super sweet and just lovely read more
Found this gem of a cocktail bar last minute. To be honest, I feel embarrassed that I haven't come here yet. They've been here 2.5 years and from my first experience , they are absolutely crushing it. Dim lighting, beautiful bar design in a smaller space, and 90's-2000's hip hop was the perfect mix for a chill Friday night. Niaget took care of us at the bar (please forgive me if I got the spelling wrong!) and she is clearly a well trained mixologist. Cocktail menu is unique and the ingredients might seem a little far out, but trust the process. The drink pictured below was a bourbon-based (Old Forrester) custom cocktail that Niaget threw together. Hints of pineapple & mint mixed with my favorite brand bourbon made this an honest treat. I will be tossing this cocktail bar onto my favorites list and can't wait to go back. read more

Came here for drinks after dinner. It's a small, intimate space so I would suggest making a reservation to claim your spot. We were a walk in but were able to score a table outside which was perfect. The drinks are good and the staff members work as a team so there's not one primary waitress. I ordered a custom drink where I told the server what I liked and the bartender created something based on my likes. It was a "fruity" tequila based drink and I enjoyed it. We were given a bowl of complementary kettle corn to enjoy with our drinks. The music was a mix of r&b and hip hop and was loud enough to vibe but didn't overpower the conversations. Random Notes: Parking is validated and the hidden bathroom was so cute. The inside is perfect for selfies lol. read more

Excellent drinks here! The service is wonderful and the music was great as well! All the cocktails are made with lots of love and effort and you truly taste it! This is a great place to come for your birthday or a chill vibe! They also have tasty non alcoholic drinks! read more

I gave 3.5 the space is cute but it's too small, it was packed so service was light. Sitting on the patio was nice as the music was tolerable and you could still hear conversation. read more
My new neighborhood watering hole! This quaint sneakeasy is tucked into the corner of the plaza that sits off of Pecan and 7th Street. The cocktails are delightfully sneaky - if you get a spirited beverage, you will feel it. Slowly but surely. The ambiance is lovely and the service is exceptional. Drinks range in price but I think the average is $16. Mocktails are about $13. I will pay for a quality cocktail and THESE are that. read more

Last week my coworker and I met for drinks at Sneak. It's on the side of the Pecan Point shopping center near the water tower tucked away in the corner. There is plenty of parking which is appreciated in Elizabeth. As you walk up, you will see the outdoor seating which emulates the dark colors and metallics inside. When I arrived there were several parties in the cozy cocktail lounge so I sat at the bar. I was immediately greeted by Clarity. She offered me water with my choice of flavor enhancement including lemon, cucumber, and orange. Then after perusing the menu, I decided on the Tequila Gimlet (off the menu) as suggested by the owner Jamil. We also chatted for a bit and I found out he attended my alma mater, A&T. Aggie Pride! The Gimlet was fab. My friend and I also tried the Illicit Affair (their take on an espresso martini), Sabbatical Secrets (sangria), and the Quick Trip To the City. All delicious! My one critique is that they have limited food options which are snacks more than bar notes. But you can order food and get it delivered or bring your order from one of the neighboring restaurants if you'd like something heavier. After trying the fresh focaccia and spreads, we decided we were still hungry. We wanted to try a nearby restaurant, but couldn't get a table. The assistant manager, Nick, reserved a table for us at the restaurant across the street that was ready in 20 minutes. They will help you with reservations at several of the nearby restaurants including Puerta, Rosemont, and the Crunkleton. Sneak has comfy seating, glamorous decor (including a gold toilet), rounded out with friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you are looking for a sophisticated cocktail bar with the friendliness of your neighborhood watering hole, this is it. Stop by and see Jamil, Nick, or Clarity. You'll have a 5 star night with 5 star service. read more

Great hidden gem. Superb service. Live music (great musician) and nice cocktail menu. You would never expect outside what this place is gonna be. You also wouldn't expect a toilet to be behind the book shelf. Here we are. read more

Very cool, intimate cocktail bar with a loungey/speakeasy vibe. Decor is really nice and they had a live DJ playing fun, chill music that wasn't too loud. Unique cocktails and bartenders are really nice. Willing to help you pick something based on your preferences. The spicy margarita I had was fantastic! read more

The bars ambiance is good with lighting but the music was alright. The seating was poor planning of layout to say least, many parties of 2 and would have to take up seating for 4. Space felt very condensed with being on top of other guests. The menu was average, when we went it was a flight special on Wednesday. The Creepy Cucumber, Slick S.O.B, and the Illicit Affair were the three we tried and me and my girlfriend rated each above a 7 at max with the Slick S.O.B being a basic old fashion. The espresso martini was what I was looking forward to the whole night and reason we came, it was arguably the worse espresso martini me or my girlfriend had. The service was amazing but they did last call an hour before close with a full house, the products were definitely underwhelming, me and my girlfriend will probably not come back unless we hear something has changed. Me and my girlfriend both work in the service industry/bartend and think theres room for improvement!! read more

Sneak is a great new addition to the Elizabeth neighborhood. I enjoyed their Edge of The Garden which consists of Botanist Gin, dry vermouth, tomato basil shrub. Very good choice! I then switched to the Louis Latour, Macon- Lugny "Les Genievres" 2022. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff is first class. They offer live music on the patio as well. Great spot. read more
