The Thirsty Beaver is... officially one of my favorite bars that I've ever been to! The inside of the bar was so cool, it was like a 1940s combination of a diner and bar. They had so much cool memorabilia, from the pool tables, neon signs, chairs & tables, posters, jukebox, hand games, etc. The bartender and other patrons were so cool, welcoming, and easy to talk to as well. I had such a fun time talking to them for a few hours. Overall, as previously stated, Thirsty Beaver is one of my favorite bars that I've ever been to, and it almost makes me wish I lived in Charlotte so I could go more often. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Wholesome place with great live music and good vibes! I would highly recommend to have a good local time here in Charlotte

Hands down one of my favorite hidden spots in Charlotte! I've been to Charlotte many times to visit my brother. We love strolling through the city and bar hopping, along with checking out new spots and grabbing a bite to eat. The first time I came to this bar, we brought our mom before going to see a concert down the road. It was such a chill atmosphere and vibe. The drinks were decently priced, there was a jukebox that played oldies and classics, along with art all over the walls that brought you through a time capsule. I highly recommend coming here whether if you are pregaming, bar hopping, want a drink and chill before the night begins or ends! The service was great too.

Me personally it's a little out of the way to become a regular haunt located in between Plaza and NoDa but not walking distance from either.
