My friends and I walked in, at 12:30am on a Tuesday. We walked over after experiencing a very rude bartender at the beer garden. It was my friend's birthday. Before leaving i had to ask the bartender for her name because of how amazing she was. I wrote it o my hand so i wouldn't forget. Thanks Cammy! You were amazing. (I probably spelled that wrong ) She took care of us, laughed with us, and kept the drinks coming. She really turned an ordinary and boring Tuesday into one of my best nights in this city. The music was a great mix of old school millennial classics such as T-Pain and even Eminem. But also played new songs. The place was kind of empty but that was expected. There were about 20-25 people there all together. Everyone was so nice and having a good time. There's pool tables, beer pong tables, and different areas to hang out. We stayed until 2am and the security even made sure to wish us a safe ride home. Everyone was welcoming and attentive. Came here to meet up with some friends on Friday night. I have never been before. I was surprised it was a lot bigger inside than I thought. They do have games such as two ping pong tables, dart board, jenga, cornhole and various other little games. We only stayed for about an hour or so. We arrived around 8:30 pm, which was early and a bit dead, but we had another place in mind, which is why we left. I feel like after 10 pm, it does get livelier and would be a good time if we ended up staying. I will definitely come back and see how it is later in the night. I was here on a Tuesday night for a last-minute weeknight outing and everyone was very sweet to begin with. We played a few games (jenga, pool, pong) with friends and others. At one point, I was getting a call, so I went outside where a person with a name tag told me to just hop over the fence (whose exit was blocked off), so I did. I took my phone call and was welcomed back into the bar. We were playing games and buying drinks fr this place till 1:45 when they told us they were closing soon. The last few of us were ushered out at about 1:50. Again, the route we were led out was gated off. So I hopped over (like I did before, no penalty) and my drink was yanked out of my hand with a remark-"this is the fourth time!" Huh?? Idk dawg I'd never seen this man before and had not had any drinks taken from me prior to. Anywaysss, will not be returning, good time until it wasn't. bartender named mckayla (however it's spelled) was VERY RUDE when I was trying to get a drink. I waited patiently for 20 minutes for my turn and she served everyone beside of me over and over- and when I finally said "excuse me I'm sorry I was here for a long time just trying to get a beer" and she responded with "I really don't care". and proceeded to serve those amongst me. I was very offended because I was trying to tip really well for my fellow bartenders. definitely don't advise that you go to her for drinks. made my experience way more frustrating than I had ever imagined. read more

This USED to be my go to bar. I loved the staff for years and starting about 6 months ago, I don't recognize anyone and the quality of service has drastically fell off. Service is slower and I definitely miss the seasoned bartenders I came to love. Not sure what happened but I do miss the staff they used to have. I've been a weekly regular up until now. read more

Fun neighborhood bar. They offer great drink specials and lots of games from beer pong to jenga to pool. The vibe is nice and casual here and it can be a welcome break from the usual South End scene. They bring in a pretty good crowd for Patriots games as I believe the owner is a big fan. They do not have a kitchen but they usually have a food truck out front where I once had an incredible meatball sub! The location doesn't get as much foot traffic as the bars along the light rail so it is easy to overlook but it is nice watering hole with great bartenders and friendly people. If you're into fraternity's this place is similar. It's got a beer pong table, multiple craft beers on tap and liquor. Random mismatched furniture and a dark room. It isn't a terrible place, but better then some over priced places in South end like Gin Mill. Not a good decision if you choose to go out this place is mid and security is excessively aggressive, don't spend your money on drinks if you plan on getting drunk here cause if you are caught in between a entanglement or argument the security will start trying to fight everyone in the crowd to say the less if you decide to come here. I've been going to this place for years and have had the best times. My last experience February 28th, 2023 was absolutely terrible. When my buddy and I showed up, for no reason, the bouncer said my buddy could not come in and then when we asked why he said quote "because he has to buy me and my buddy a drink". We were laughing because we thought he was kidding and he wasn't. So we said "we will" and didn't obviously because that's not okay. Well he was upset about it later, came up to us pushed my buddy and said we had to get out. Then when I asked what the issue was he didn't respond, but instead smacked my drink and my buddies drink out of our hands. So we all stepped outside where his buddy from the beginning that "we had to buy a drink for" brandishes his firearm at us committing aggravated assault. Bouncer ( the obese one ) tried extorting us, then he escalated the situation from a verbal confrontation to physical force, then his buddy escalating the situation from a now physical force to a deadly force encounter. Still considering on wether or not I'll take legal action against the two individuals, but they need to be fired immediately and I will not be returning to The Union until such is done. read more

Super fun bar on South Blvd . It's very casual, they have great specials and activities. The best deals I would say are on Mondays, with their service industry special of 50% off, but I haven't visited any other day of the week. If they serve food, I'm not aware. There is patio seating that is shaded and some arcade games indoors , karaoke on some nights too. Definitely worth the visit...especially on Mondays!!! read more
