Gas furnace tried to murder me in my sleep... time for an upgrade, SDAC installed a mini split to replace it. They had good answers to all our questions and concerns, but even better, they asked us questions we hadn't thought of. They fed all new wires and pipes through the old furnaces hole into the crawl space, so there weren't any exterior lines. They even removed the old furnace and covered up the hole with drywall. read more

I don't particularly enjoy spending money to get things fixed. But this company made the process so much easier they were quick and professional and able to work around my schedule were extremely upfront about the cost associated with the repair. In my case it ended up being essentially a switchboard being switched out the other one became loose and was unreliable but my HVAC unit was under warranty so in the end I only got charged for the labor to install it all in all I'm extremely glad I went with this company because I've had problems in the past with other companies trying to add in fees or just scheduling the maintenance for weeks out. read more

I decided to go with this company based on the reviews on here. Our house was trashed by this company employees while installing a new hvac system and adding new insulation to our attic. Ceilings, walls, furniture, clothes you name it. They refuse to take responsibility for the damages. They patch up some of the drywall terribly, so I decided to call a drywall business to take a look and the drywall guy I called ended up having to redo the areas they did a half fast patch up. One time going through the ceiling can be considered an accident, but their untrained employees made 4 huge holes and 3 cracks on our ceiling including a huge one inside our closet. Luckily no one got injured. Huge areas of walls and paint got damaged, glue or whatever sticky product their used was all over my new hardwood floors, and debris all over the place. They didn't prepare their work area at all before they started, didn't cover the floors or anything. My husband ended up buying stuff at Home Depot and doing himself to try preventing further damage. Very disorganized, poorly trained. Costed us over $2,000 to fix everything I'm 5 months pregnant, hip and back injuries and that I'll need surgery for, a young toddler to take care of and weeks after the fact My husband and I are still trying to clean and wash our stuff inside the house and garage. He lost days off works because of this situation. Owner was not apologetic at all nor wanted to take responsibility for what happened. After hours of discussion he took $300 off our $17,000 bill and send a cleaning lady for 2 hours which didn't even finished cleaning our flooring. Drywall alone in various rooms costed us $900. We are taking them to court. Save your self, please stay away! read more

I placed a service request because the new thermostat we installed wasn't working with our older system. Sergey arrived within a couple hours of my initial request, and was able to come even sooner than expected. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. He informed us that while our heater was over 20 years old and should probably be replaced, he didn't try selling us on a new one or scaring us into needing one, and said our old one was still working well. And looking our for our safety: he recommended that since it's an old system we should install carbon monoxide detectors just in case. He got our system running and only charged us the $75 service fee, despite several trips to the attic to figure out wiring! I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

Our system had a leak for the better part of 2021. I had many technicians come out, replace capacitors, filters and refilling the system for 5-900 dollars at a time. Basically milking us. I got tired of the others and went with SDAC, their technician not only fixed the leak, he refilled the system balanced it and kept the entire price at a reasonable rate. Absolutely fantastic. We just moved into a home in Carlsbad in mid-July with two AC units we thought were completely shot. We called SDAC expecting to need a full replacement.
