I need to report an extremely disturbing experience at a Nordstrom Rack store during a recent visit…read morewith my husband. We were shopping for outfits for our son's graduation, which should have been a positive and memorable occasion. Instead, I was subjected to unprofessional, confrontational, and ultimately abusive behavior by a fitting room associate. Upon approaching the fitting room, I followed the associate's directions regarding where to place my cart, although her instructions were inconsistent and unclear. Inside the dressing room, I found a shirt that had been left behind by a previous customer. After trying on approximately seven items, I returned them to hangers and exited the fitting room. At that point, the associate demanded that I remove and hang the shirt that I had not brought into the dressing room. I explained that it was not mine. She became visibly frustrated, entered the room herself, and then shifted her focus to insisting that I return all of my items to the exact locations on the sales floor where I had found them. I placed the clothing neatly on the rack provided near the fitting room, which is standard practice in most retail stores. I declined to return the items to the sales floor, as that is typically handled by store staff to ensure proper organization. The situation escalated significantly when the associate followed me out of the fitting area and toward the front of the store, continuing to confront me. She then called me a "horrible human being" and used an additional demeaning term toward me. Racially motivated ! Being followed and verbally insulted while exiting the store was both shocking and unacceptable. I think she forgot what her job actually was and that was too curate the clothing, and to rehang them up she had the nerve to continue following me and would have exited the store to follow me. Had someone else stopped her I am a 50-year-old customer who has shopped in retail stores my entire life, and I have never experienced anything remotely like this. This interaction was not only unprofessional but crossed the line into harassment. this incident be investigated thoroughly. No customer should be treated in this manner under any circumstances. I would also appreciate a response outlining what steps will be taken to address this situation and ensure it does not happen to others. Huge thumbs down to this store and this horrible little twit

Whew weeee!! This…read morelocation was something to talk about. I have been dying to get in this place for years but always on a tight schedule to get elsewhere. This was a Lion and Tigers and Bears OH MY situation! It's quite crowded in here. Not cluttered but crowded. They have soooo much stuff and it's all in order. This place could be 2-3 floors easy!! I saw all of my fav brands at great prices. They have a huge selection of high-end wear for a great price. They have a huge selection of summer, spring and winter wear. The cosmetics and body care... chef's kiss!! They have everything in every color/ scent/ size!! Cool accessories, luggage galore, etc. I did not take a gander at the shoes as I had a show nearby to attend. I bought 2 gorge blouses and a short sleeve loose fitting denim blue top. I will revisit very soon for some more shopping greatness.

I hate shoe shopping and usually do everything in my power to avoid it. However, I was about to go…read moreon a trip and I was already here so I decided to go inside and see if they had anything to my liking. Being inside Ellsworth Place I really can't complain. As it is the only remaining shoe store in here now. You can tell it is a DSW before you even get near it with that totally white interior with the lights blazing out of the store. Inside, it's like every other store in the chain. White walls, white ceiling, white floors, aisle upon aisle of shoes. No rhyme or reason as to how they put their stock out. I went through the men's section and was about to leave when I found what I wanted to look at on a display in the main aisle. No organization to this but to just hope that a box that had your size on it might be something they have on display. After rummaging through this pile of boxes I did find something I wanted. I will give it too them, even though this is a massive store, they were still able to pop up out of nowhere to see if I needed any help finding anything. Like you as an employee has any idea what you have in stock any more than I as a customer knows. I declined and went about my business and made my way to the register. Did I mention I hate shopping for shoes. It might be because I used to work for a shoe store and knew what was about to hit me at the register. The attempt to sale me more items to go with my shoes. No, I don't want your socks, sealants, or any other magical potions. Then they ask if you want to sign up for their rewards program. Ma'am, does it look like I care about shoes that much? But the price was what got me or I wouldn't have been in line to checkout.

It's up stairs on the top floor, to your right when you take the escalator. It is huge! I still haven't got the lay of the land in this new incarnation. I headed back to the clearance racks. I didn't need new shoes. I was looking for something smaller, like socks or a scarf. Something to spend my five dollar birthday credit that DSW gives you every year. Well, hello 80s! Scrunchies are back. I bought a four pack with a green tag which means 50% off. Which also meant... FREE! I'm a happy birthday girl!

Service here is poor and sketchy. The point of me writing this review is to tell corporate or…read morewhomever manages this store that your employees are sketchy and breaking basic retail policy: employees cannot ring up their own purchases. This is in regard to a short, Hispanic, curly, brunette blond cashier with glasses. Hell, she coulda been the manager. My question is this- how can you sneak in ringing up your own purchase on a customer's transaction without asking the customer? Even further- I paid with card and she snuck in her sneakers w/ cash. Worst part is that she was unapologetic. Had she asked I likely wouldn't have even cared. I realized the cashier was counting cash and I thought it was as she was preparing the register as cashiers do. A colleague/coworker said in regard to the man in front of me "hey make sure you ring up this guy first he's been waiting." Cashier: (jokingly and sarcastically) can't you see I'm counting money? I'm busy! But I'll get to it (then she completes his transaction) She then rings me up and asks debit or credit when I hand her my card. I tell her debit. Then she asks again in a few minutes; I enter my pin and we're good to go. Charge says about 26$ which is correct and I authorize it. Then she hands me the hat I purchase and receipt and asks if I want a bag. I say yes and as I look at the receipt it says my total purchase is $121 and that my card was charged $26. So I ask her why is there another purchase on my receipt and she begins this bitchy attitude. Let me share the convo with you: Cashier- I didn't charge you Me- so why does it say $121? Cashier- it's for something I bought Me- on my card? What is it? Cashier- the shoes I bought Me- with my card? Cashier- no I didn't charge you. Me- so why is it on my receipt? Cashier- I bought them Me- and you paid the other half with cash? Cashier- yes Me- *puzzled and annoyed* that's weird.. Cashier- If you want another receipt I can give you a separate receipt I just need to see your card again Me- I don't want to give you my card again. Why did you use my transaction to buy your shoes without my permission? Cashier- I'll just need your card I can give you a receipt I walked out saying "I don't need a receipt that's fine. You're doing some sketchy shit." And I realize the cash she was counting in front of the whole store to see is for her own purchase of shoes. Unprofessional. But then again I guess she spend want us to expect so much more respect and decency? Plus do a better job at explaining the sketchy shit you're doing. You've wasted my breath.

This might be one of the worst experiences I've had with ordering online. I ordered a jacket and it has taken over two weeks for the order to even be processed! The website does give a disclaimer about "processing" taking 7-10 business days (which is absurd...most websites have orders shipped out within a couple days), but it is now the 11th business day and my order still has not even been processed. I do not recommend ordering from this site and will not be doing so again in the future. The processing/shipping time is ridiculous.
