We searched up and down for a shop that was open early to find a mask and fins. We stopped at three other stores and they didn't have a great selection and they weren't very welcoming. We went to the Scuba Outlet and they had EVERYTHING. From fins, to masks, to bathing suites, shirts, wet suites, jackets, whatever you need they have it! Not to mention, the customer service is like no other. They helped us try on as many fins as we wanted to and they were so knowledgeable about all of the products. She gave us her honest opinion and didn't try to upsell us something that we didn't need. I strongly recommend this place for anything you might need for scuba and snorkeling!!

Stopped here on the way to Key West. Needed a couple of small items for my dive. They had it in stock and offered a military discount. There were a couple of items I was interested in if I had to the to leisurely peruse. Looking forward to my November Key Largo trip to check Scuba Quest again! Will repeat and recommend!

Scuba Quest Is my go to stop any time that I'm scuba diving and spearing down in the Keys. They have a great selection of apparel and all the diving necessities that you need. Every time I'm in there the customer service is very professional and they are so helpful find what you need. A Keys landmark when it comes to Scuba so make sure to stop by and check it out!

Don't be rude to customer's. Be polite and don't act annoyed for having customers. Employee with longer hair was very friendly and helpful.

We booked the morning and afternoon dive (total of 4 dives/sites) and we enjoyed the experience. The boat and dive guides were very friendly. We checked in then we got our rental gears. Before we left the dock, the dive guides were able to help us set up our gear (we are beginner divers and, sometimes, you just need to double check if your gear is correctly set up). We went to the Eagle Raw Alley, JJ's Cave, Minnow's Cave, and Christ of the Abyss. We saw a lot of creatures like lobster, hammer head shark, nurse shark, different fishes, stingray, crab, Christ of the Abyss, parrot fish, and tube sponge. Highly recommend this location for your next dive!

Horrible customer service!…read more My husband and I walked I into the shop 3 times and ended up walking out 3 times disappointed with the customer service. The staff, behind the counter, was extermely unhelpful and we both got the feeling they just wanted us to leave the shop so they don't have to deal with another tourist. We are both experienced divers, just asking to book a dive, but ultimately we decided we would rather give our money to another dive shop in the area that made us feel welcome. I strongly suggest looking for a different dive shop.

It was very cold on the weekend that we were there, so we used the extra blanket in the closet. There's a dock to hangout on but it was too windy and cold to hangout for too long. There's a tiny "beach" (see picture). There are a lot of nice places to relax outside. There was parking directly in front of our room. The prices were reasonable. The dives, most were on Molasses reef with a few others including Christ of the Abyss and the Benwood wreck. The visibility varied by day. The best thing about their dives is that they are fairly shallow 20 to 35 ft So it is very safe , ideal for beginners and great if you have not dove in a while.

This year, it was a sunset cruise, which far surpasses a dinner at yet another restaurant. Jill met me at Buzzard's Roost, which was great. I am local, but for folks who aren't, this is a great extra! I got to meet Suzy, their rescue, who was very sweet. Captain Glenn took us from ocean side to bay side to Nest Key for sunset. Close to Nest Key, we encountered at least 25 dolphin feeding. We sat and watched and them when we started to move away, the dolphin wanted to play in the boat's wake. Could not have imagined such a special experience to celebrate a birthday!!! My friends brought refreshments and Lucky Fish supplied reusable cups and also had a tank of water. A plus is their actual head (toilet) aboard. Their cat is a perfect size for 6 passengers. It is well appointed, spotless and very stable. Highest praise for Jill, Glenn and Suzy!

We decided not to let the pandemic spoil our 4th of July celebration and spent the holiday in Key Largo. After seeing the larger dive operations with their packed boats of 30+ people all weekend and the COVID-19 outbreak reaching an all-time high in Florida, we made the smarter decision to do a private dive with Lucky Fish Scuba. Captain Glenn and Jill took my dad, my sister and me to the perfect location for our first ocean dive. We had the best time! We were so happy to have the extra attention and instruction as new divers. It was such a stress-free experience. We were able to book the dive last minute, and all of the necessary equipment was on the boat ready for us when we arrived. The boat was beautiful and clean. The equipment was very new and in top condition. Glenn gave us tips to improve our scuba skills. Jill provided snacks and unlimited reef-friendly sunscreen. We even got a video of the dive to share will the rest of our family! I highly recommend using Lucky Fish Scuba if you plan to dive in Key Largo!

It is located near Dry Rocks, about six miles east-northeast of the Key Largo Cut, in the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. I was very fortunate to finally visit the Christ of the Abyss after wanting to go for many years! We went on my fiancé's boat. We looked for the coordinates on the web and simply followed them. When you arrive you will see a good number of ball boat bouees set up with a rope which allows you to tie up. They then have a floater which says "Statue" which marks the spot. It's a really cool spot if you are an amateur snorkeler. The water is 25 deep so if you are a beginner and feel comfortable being in that depth you should be good. There are tons of colorful fish around which makes the snorkeling adventure very special. It is my understanding you can go on a tour from John Penne camp for $35-50. If it includes snorkeling gear I say it's totally worth it. Definitely a place worth checking out if you are in the Key Largo Area.
