$18 for one adult and two kids under 5!!! And the gate attendant, the lady in her 70s or 80s was extremely rude acted like she owned the park. And acted like I didn't know what it was like to be in the keys. She literally said you're in the keys now. For her information it doesn't cost $18 to get into any of the parks around here. None of them. I've been to at least 10 of them. And when you're charging kids that aren't even school-age that's absolutely ridiculous. I'm a patron, guest, a paying guest, you don't talk to me with such disrespect.

I absolutely Loved this park and can't wait to come back!! I use to come here when I was younger and forgot all about this place. It use to have a restaurant and bar here to (I'm talking over 20 years ago) but that's gone now. But what is always here is a park, a pool, beach volleyball, playground, and a sweet beach! We got here in the early afternoon and were still able to grab a shaded picnic table and grill. All the picnic tables are close proximity to a grill which is perfect. There are huts available if not rented out, are first come first taken, lol. We met up with our friends and their kids for a fun beach day. We bbq'd and watched the kids playing in the sand in this huge sand pile. After eating we all went in the water and my friend brought her paddleboard. It was so on! The water was a perfect temperature and although it's smaller than some of our famous Miami beaches, we never felt crowded at all. It was really a perfect day! We laughed as we all tried the paddleboard and just enjoyed swimming and enjoying all the park had to offer. We really enjoyed this beach and seriously need to come back sooner then later. I highly recommend this park for EVERYONE! It's perfect for any and every occasion, family and friend days or, romantic days, or just to chill and relax. I freaking Love this park....I'll be the duchess here soon..lol

A beautiful, properly maintained, beach paradise. Perfect for families. Decided to take the kids to the keys for an impromptu picnic and I chose this spot because of its offerings of a park, playground, and bathroom...all necessary with kids. We went on a holiday and the park was busy but not overly packed. We enjoyed the shallow lagoon area, the kids loved the playgrounds, we ate our lunch under a palm tree, and spent five wonderful hours there. Highly recommend this spot for a stop along the keys. While driving back home to Miami Beach, we stopped by the Blond Giraffe for a couple slices of key lime pie. Perfect day!

Absolutely stunning gem in the Florida Keys. I believe the cost to enter was $8 per adult and $5 per child over the age of 3. It was clean and well-kept, with 2 playgrounds by the water that my toddler enjoyed playing on. We liked how it was not nearly as crowded as the beaches we are used to in south Florida. There were barely any people there when we went, so we had plenty of space to splash around. The nice thing is that there were no violent ocean waves, so my toddler could swim at the beach in peace for once. Very calm and soothing experience. You even get to park in the lot right beside the beach, so you don't have to walk to the ocean from blocks away. We definitely recommend this park for anyone visiting the Florida Keys!

This park has a little bit of everything but it will cost you. At the time of writing the cost is $8.00 per person and $5.00 for seniors or youth. The park entrance fee does not include admission to the pool. The beach area has a nice parking lot and a dog park right across the beach area. The beach area is small and while it is nice the depth of the water is super shallow only getting to about 4.5 foot. When we got ready to leave which was before the parks closing time; the bathrooms were locked throughout the whole park. This is highly unacceptable as we asked their closing time when we arrived. This meant either change in the car our wear wet clothes. I did like the park and it is worth a visit but I find it more expensive than others around that have better beaches in my opinion.

Beautiful beach and very clean. This park is a great place to bring a family. The water was great and there is plenty of sand to build sandcastles.

    Nice protected cove for swimming

We started on the bike trail along the busy highway, then turned into the park. At the guard house, the nicest ranger asked us to come in while he waited on a car driving through. He was so pleasant and caring about having water, giving us directions, etc. I am so sorry I didn't get his name. if you are walking or cycling, it is $2.50 per person. We met another ranger who was maintaining the restroom down by the shore and he was friendly, too! Walking down, there are mangroves on each side. Then you see the shore. They have done such a great job carving out little areas for people to sit or eat, etc. We were very impressed with that. There was no litter and the restroom was also very clean. Highly recommend if you need a break going to or coming from Key West. It is also great if you are staying nearby.

We were thrilled to find that Long Key had a site available for the March date that we needed. Our preference would have been for a site for a Class B RV, but we were willing to accept the only site available, a tent-only site. Our reservation for the site was quite expensive ($34.51) for a tent-only site in a public park, without hookups. The fees in Florida state parks really add up. The site itself was "only" $22.50, but there's also a non-refundable $6.70 reservation fee and an assortment of taxes that totaled $5.31. Unfortunately, due to wildfires near Homestead, FL, we needed to reschedule our trip into the Keys, which also involved cancelling our reservation at Long Key. Of our initial outlay of $34.51, our refund was only for $10 and some change. There was a $17-something cancellation fee, and the initial reservation fee was non-refundable. Of the $10+ returned, over $5 of this was the sales taxes.

While the Florida Keys in general do not offer a large variety of sandy beaches, this little stretch located at Mile Marker 73.4 Oceanside offers a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the day, sunbathing We reached around 9:30 AM, and it was almost empty. With a few clouds in the sky, the place had a very serene and peaceful vibe. No crowds at all. In summer, the beach area is probably a bit wider, but during our visit, it was smaller. Still, that doesn't take away from enjoying this beautiful beach. Parking is right there, and there are restrooms nearby, which makes it very convenient.

It's not a full beach. More like you have to walk trough a bridge and every couple of sections there are small private beaches. So if you get there early you can get a good spot. The water is not the cleanest but it's very low tide. You can walk half a mile and still not be under water. My dog loved it!!! We spent most of the day here. The little private beach we chose even had a small deck area with shade. Best part of the whole vacation is seeing max have so much fun!! He literally slept the whole way back home after this

It was a fun trip from Robbies. We rented 5 kayaks to go out on the water. Most of the water was shallow until after you get past the bridge, the water will become deeper. They provide you a path to follow and a map to ensure that you stay away from the current. You have the option to go with a guide, but we went together and did just fine. It took us 35 minutes to get from Robbies to the Island via Kayak. When you arrive, they have an area that they recommend you to park your kayaks at. Now there are other locations but if you seen them, this is the best location to stop at for sure. The island is small and difficult to understand that there was a neighborhood here once upon a time in 1863, over 100 years ago. We were able to make it to the other side of the island. Members of our team decided to go swimming at the top of the surface to see what they seen under the water. One thing it was very hot on this day, so it worked our well. The island doesn't have lots to offer, but can be a good day to paddle out, explore, even take a lunch and relax until it's time to go back.
