The sunset kayak trip was amazing! Our guide, France, was a delight! She was warm and friendly and then was quick to point out interesting facts and fun creatures for us to view along the way. She made sure we got some good pictures while out and just made it an enjoyable experience. The clear kayaks make for a unique experience, making sure that you don't miss a thing! We saw starfish, sea sponges and even two black tip sharks! Traveling through the mangroves adds a whole new level to the kayak experience. I've been kayaking for so many years and never have I ever experienced so many viewings of sea life while kayaking! All thanks to Katrina for the fantastic experience! We were a group of 4 and booked two kayaks! Katrina took us to the mangroves where on our way we saw a bed of jelly fish - the clear Kayaks made it so easy to see below and was so exciting! We spotted nursing sharks, lobsters, angel fish, paired fish and so many more!!! She was very patient with us and one of our friends was a complete newbie and Katrina made sure we all were comfortable! We also saw a manatee and it swam right below my kayak! Bo was great and creative, navigating a cloudy sunset tour with choppy water. We saw tons of wildlife including a manatee right underneath our clear boat-- and learned a lot. During our tour it was low tide and the water was quite shallow, but Will gave us a very memorable tour of the mangroves. He even showed us how starfish move, which my wife and I dubbed it the "Starfish dance". When you're out in the open water, there can be some motorboat traffic, but back in the mangroves, it's very peaceful. read more

We absolutely had a blast and it's mainly due to how fun Katarina made it for all of us through her thorough and engaging stories throughout the tour. My family had a wonderful time out on the waters of Islamorada during this 1.5-hour experience. Our guide , Jim, was knowledgeable. My only drawback was not being able to see much wildlife. Because we were at low tide and it was 100° outside. Therefore, fish had moved further out into deeper waters, where they keep cool. I'm definitely gonna do this again during another time of year. Highly highly recommend going on a tour with Katrina. My dad and I are avid kayakers but wanted something different and decided to do the clear kayak tours and we are SO happy we did! Katrina's kayaks are right behind Lorelei's restaurant (which is a great place to eat before or after your trip). The location is convenient and lots of parking! Many clear kayaks are all scratched up, like the ones in key west, that are only half clear-- but Katrina's kayaks were in PERFECT condition. You could see clear literally all around the kayak. We went through beautiful little mangroves and saw jelly fish, starfish, and even a baby shark!! Katrina is SO knowledgeable about the area and such a sweetheart!
