This was six senior adults with most of them not accustomed to be on the water. We had a wonderful tour seeing turtles, dolphins, some of the coral around the lighthouse offshore, and through some mangrove groves on the bay side of the island. Wonderful tour, would highly recommend.

Even though…read morethe weather wasn't completely on our side, Kathy and Heidi truly went above and beyond to make sure our time on the water was the best it could possibly be. One completely unintentional and unexpected highlight was getting to interact with dolphins as they swam right around our boat. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Kathy immediately recognized how special this moment could be for us and she made sure to capitalize on it in a way only a true captain could. She made sure we got the opportunity to fully take this in...something we will never forget! From start to finish, they were thoughtful, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Every detail was considered, and they took such great care to make sure the kids had the absolute best time. It was clear how much they genuinely care about creating meaningful, memorable experiences for families. We couldn't recommend Family Fun Boat Tour Co more highly. If you're visiting Islamorada, especially with kids, this is an absolute must. We will definitely be back!

The captain and crew were very friendly and energetic throughout the experience, which helped calm my nerves. They were also very patient and friendly and taught me how to put on my fins, my mask, etc. The area we went to was great! The water was absolutely gorgeous and clear, but the creatures under the water were a little mundane towards the end of the hour. I saw some cool fish like parrot fish, and a few nurse sharks, but near the end, it got a little repetitive. Luckily, we only spent around an hour in that area so it was a very short-lived boredom. When we went to the sandbar, I'll admit it wasn't the best. The water was really dirty (brownish) and there wasn't much sandbar to walk on. However, the lily pad attached to the boat was super relaxing to chill on, and we had some stingrays and nurse sharks pass us by. Overall, a great experience with a lovely crew. I wish the sandbar was a bit better, and that the snorkeling spot had a little more diversity in fish, but overall I would definitely recommend

This was my first open-water dive after recently becoming certified, and to say I was nervous would…read morebe an understatement. I was genuinely worried that once we got in the water, I wouldn't be able to do it. From the moment we arrived at Sailfish Scuba, we were welcomed like old friends. The boat ride out was enjoyable, and the entire crew--from the dive guides to the captain--was incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and reassuring. My companion has more than 50 dives under his belt, so he gave T, the owner, a heads-up that this was my first dive and that I was pretty nervous. T got in the water with me and stayed by my side throughout our descent. When I started to feel that familiar panic setting in, he calmly kept me moving down while continuously checking on me and making sure I was okay. I'm so grateful he did. If I had been left to descend on my own, I honestly think I would have surfaced several times and possibly not completed the dive at all. Having T right there gave me the confidence I needed to push through that initial fear. Once I was down, everything changed. I became much more comfortable, and by the next three dives, I was able to descend completely on my own. My companion, who is an experienced diver, said Sailfish Scuba is one of the best dive companies he has ever been with--and after my experience, I completely understand why. The professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care this crew showed made such a huge difference for me as a new diver. I went from being terrified that I wouldn't be able to do the dive to finishing it feeling excited and confident about getting back in the water. We would absolutely recommend Sailfish Scuba to anyone, especially newer divers who may be feeling nervous or unsure of themselves. We can't wait to come back and dive with them again!

The entire team was welcoming, professional, patient, and truly cared about my success and safety. From the very first day, I felt like I was part of the family. A very special thank you to Michaela. She went above and beyond in every possible way. She helped me find a hotel, recommended great restaurants, gave me directions, answered all of my questions, and even helped me find childcare so I could focus on my training. She also personally helped care for my child during part of my three-day course, which meant the world to me. As a parent, that kind of kindness and support is something I'll never forget. Her generosity, compassion, and genuine heart made this experience so much easier and more enjoyable. My instructor, Tarek Salem, was exceptional. He is patient, calm, knowledgeable, and an excellent teacher. He explained every skill thoroughly, made sure I understood everything before each dive, and gave me the confidence I needed to succeed. I always felt safe and well taken care of. I also want to thank Elara Moultrie. She was friendly, patient, encouraging, and always focused on everyone's safety. Her positive attitude made every dive fun and helped create such a welcoming environment. This wasn't just a place to earn certifications--it was a place where people truly care about their students. I left with my Advanced Open Water and Nitrox certifications, wonderful memories, and friends I'll never forget. If you're looking for a dive center with outstanding instructors and people who genuinely care about you both in and out of the water, I highly recommend this team. I'll definitely be back for more training and more dives. Thank you all for making this an unforgettable experience!
