She has a very petite face and has struggled for years to find one that actually works. Walt was so patient and walked her through everything step by step. He also helped her find basic swim gear, including a shorty wetsuit that fit correctly without leaking. While he was working with her, I explored the massive store and picked up fins, booties, and a full-length wetsuit. I love that they have so much inventory. You can really take your time trying different options and finding what fits best. I was able to compare fins with different bootie lengths and try on wetsuits that were actually sized correctly. Huge shoutout as well to the general manager Rachael and assistant manager Loren for their patience during checkout. My mom was able to drive her gear home, but I was flying back to Virginia the next day and stressing about packing everything. They reminded me about the free shipping over a certain amount, which was an epic stress reliever. Overall, I absolutely love this store. I wish we had something like it where I live. Ladies, the fins are sized for men unfortunately, so pick the size that is about 1.5 sizes lower than what you usually wear, based on advice I got from a staff member. Sure enough, as someone who normally wears a women's 11, the size 9-10 fins fit perfectly, and I didn't even bother trying any other sizes. There were plenty of fins for a variety of sizes available, and prices were competitive, reasonable, and accurate compared to their website. The staff member at the register was able to apply the 10% off welcome offer to my order, so I walked away with brand new fins for less than $40! Overall a very smooth process!

We set out before sunrise and were ready to go once the sun hit the water in the morning. Our guide was the perfect mix of hands off and hands off. He showed us how to attract the manatees and interact/passively observe them, and created a shared group experience that you could partake in, but also let us wander about in our own and have intimate one on one time with the manatees, which I didn't see happening with the other groups that came out into the water later, they seemed more uptight and controlling of their groups. This was the highlight of our Florida trip and I'm so grateful we picked the best company to go with. They supplied snacks and drinks on the boat and a changing room after getting out of the water. The wet suits and snorkel gear they supplied was very quality and felt new. The main store we met at had lots of manatee goodies and snorkel and scuba gear. It was very cute and were pleasantly greeted by the boat captain when we came in in the morning. It felt like a big happy family of a crew and we had the greatest time out there. I will never forget having a manatee come hug me and try and eat my hair. We had a total love fest with each other for a solid 2 minutes, and the manatees were very interactive and curious and playful in general which made for a great experience. We were in silver springs that day and we saw so many manatees. This crew knows where to go and makes for the best experience. It's flexible to spend as much time as you'd like in the water and get out whenever you've felt you've fulfilled yourself and then enjoy sitting on the boat and watching the manatees go by on the beautiful morning.

I order the class when I go in and they told me I will receive an email talking about doing the online classes and the dates and where I'm supposed to be for my classes. I called back multiple times asking about the email because I never got it. Then it's 3 days before the class I finally get an email but it's an email about the class getting canceled without any reason. I am a college student going to FAU so this was the only weekend I could do it and so I call them asking for a refund since they canceled on me and he says if you come in we can talk about a refund. I go into the shop and his daughter is working and she doesn't know how to do the refunds so she calls the owner which he doesn't pick up she put down my number and said I would get a call back later that day I never did. So I call back the next day and they told me to come in again I go in and all of a sudden the machine does not want to give me a refund it stopped working. So I had to chargeback on my credit card because he said I would get a refund the next day when the system is working I never got it so I charged back. This place is a scam I do not recommend it.

This repeats two times more, and getting a bit worried about things going sideways, so I called iOutdoor Adventures. Got someone who identified herself "as the manager of iOutdoor adventures, who seemed very put out by the call, but said she would get the captain to call me. He does, and right after I identify myself, he starts saying I am mistaken, we are not booked for Sunday 8/2/26, he has us down for Monday 8/3/26. I tell him I am looking at the conformation, and it says Sunday 8/2/26. Now he starts blaming iOutdoor Adventures, that it's all a bunch of 3rd party folks, he just contracts with them, and THEY mucked it up. So, I call the lady back I spoke to earlier, she says no, he is an employee, she confirms my reservation...long story shorter, after calls back and forth between them, with each blaming the other, she finally just says, I can't get you a captain, the assigned captain "got his scheduling wrong", as if that settled a HUGE waste of time and money. Which she obviously did not care about, acted like I was the one being annoying for being upset about their FUBAR, and then sighs and said "there is nothing she can do, she can refund my money, and offer me $50 bucks if I choose to rebook. Yeah, that's going to happen...ever. Like $50 off another of their screw-ups was even worth the gas and time I wasted on them. They were the most unprofessional, uncaring, not give a crap about how their unprofessional behavior ruined this, refused to take responsibility for anything, and were the rudest people I have dealt with in a long while. So, all we could do was pack up and make the long drive home It's your money and time, so if you want to waste it on them that's on you. You have been warned. After I read the reviews, apparently, I am not the only one this has happened to either. And because they acted like it was no big deal that they wasted my time, money and effort, because of their own BS, and then acted like no big deal pal, you'll get over it, no skin off our noses, I am going to make sure to hit every review I can so that other folks that like to fish are not drawn in by, in my opinion, complete uncaring fraudsters.

This is a review for their archery department…read more I decided recently that I wanted to get back into archery (which for me means traditional target shooting with a recurve bow). After receiving terrible service at a local shop in Gainesville, my boyfriend (who was buying this for me as a birthday present) and I came here. Upon walking into that section they really only have compound bows for bowhunting on display and some very expensive all wood recurves hanging behind the counter. There were plenty of people behind the counter though, and one man asked if we needed any help. We told him what we were looking for and that I was a novice archer who had last shot about 6 years ago. He promptly pulled a box out from underneath the counter, told us the price and asked if it was in our range. We said yes and he began putting it together for us. After he had put it together and showed me how it was done, he had me draw it. I said it was fine and more than I shot in High School, which is what I'm looking for since my archery teacher was always pushing me to try a stronger resistance. He then showed me a product called a "whisker biscuit" (I know, sounds lewd right?), which is basically a special attachment to help with nocking the arrow. It holds the arrow in place, meaning it won't fall out mid-release...which I agree is a good idea to have for a novice...especially since this has happened to me! So he attached that on for us. I asked him about a sight and he led us over to where they sell them and selected one to recommend at my re quest of a reasonably priced one. He picked one out and I looked at it, and really liked it! Fiber optic sight with several different pins to mark different distances so there is no need for adjustment once you set them. After attaching everything we had picked out he asked if we need it taken back apart and we did so he obliged. He let us know there was a sale on some arrows and we picked them up as well; he cut them to the proper size and then we were ready to check out! I know it kind of sounds like he was trying to upsell me on a lot of things, but he did listen to our concerns about price and we knew exactly what we were buying. When recommending a product he told us exactly what it was and why it was a good idea, but never said it was a necessity. At any time we could have requested something cheaper or different and I'm sure he would have obliged us with no problem. Great experience, excellent service. Will definitely come back if I need anything. I'm just sad they're in Orlando and not Gainesville :(
