The clothing sold there seems to be of a good quality, but is seriously overpriced, especially for an outlet. One men's rain jacket was about $600 - that was the "sale" price!! And it was a thin jacket, not a heavy duty winter coat. I have no problem paying for high quality clothing, but this store has items priced several times higher that they should be - especially at an outlet when they are supposed to be having early Black Friday sales. I'll be checking online for better deals around Black Friday and see how it compares with their outlet prices. At this store you are definitely paying for the name when several other companies sell the same products at a fraction of the price.

Her knowledge was impressive, but what stood out most was her attention to fit -- she evaluated width, length, and even recommended going up half a size based on the shoe's construction and the demands of long hikes. She doesn't work on commission. She simply cares about getting it right. Sadie is exactly the kind of professional who keeps us coming back to REI.

They have just about everything you need here for your backpacking, camping or hiking trip. But it can certainly get spendy. It's all the super high quality brands here so the price does not budge. There's a few sales here and there but that's why I wouldn't shop here so often. But once in a while it's nice and even to get inspiration for outdoors adventures. Something else cool about REI is they offer classes to members & nonmembers to teach you about backpacking, survival tips, and how to prepare for certain trips. There were no customer service people in that particular section, but we found it pretty quick since it was in the front of the store. We ended up with a purchase from the gym equipment section and found check out to be pretty quick. The cashier was friendly and asked if I had phone number registered for rewards which I did. He asked if I wanted my receipt which I appreciated since not all places do that. Location of the store is not the best as it is tucked back in the Milennia plaza where there is a lot of traffic. But its a good place to shop if you know exactly what you need and don't mind paying higher prices.

We were assisted by David, who was really great with his recommendations. They no longer have all the inventory out in the store so you basically select the shoe or shoes that you're interested in and go to the kiosk, which is on the extreme left side of the shoe area. This store also has a wide variety of everything sporting goods, beach and camping gear, and beach a sporting apparel (and at decent prices). Oh, and by the way, the AC was a tremendous relief to the FL heat wave thanks to DSG's!!!

I ended up like that one more. He pointed out a few other colors as well. He was very helpful but didn't seem like he appreciate the big hug I gave him. Oh well! I misread that one completely. It's a pretty big store with lots of clothing options and shoes/boots too. Their clearance prices are amazing for their brand and will definitely be back here if I'm in need of more hiking attire. They were also helpful during checkout for their rewards program. They had plexi-glass blocking so no awkward hug decision necessary. Great selection and super helpful and friendly staff.
