The clothing sold there seems to be of a good quality, but is seriously overpriced, especially for an outlet. One men's rain jacket was about $600 - that was the "sale" price!! And it was a thin jacket, not a heavy duty winter coat. I have no problem paying for high quality clothing, but this store has items priced several times higher that they should be - especially at an outlet when they are supposed to be having early Black Friday sales. I'll be checking online for better deals around Black Friday and see how it compares with their outlet prices. At this store you are definitely paying for the name when several other companies sell the same products at a fraction of the price.

I had ordered a similar sandal by Keen in size 9, and it fit perfectly! I contacted Travel Country Outfitters in frustration. It turns out both Sandals were a size 9, but the Bali shoe appeared a full size larger. They have kindly offered to send me a return label in order to receive a refund. I have not been there yet, but I can tell you that they have a lot of name brands, highly discounted, and right now the Hoka Speed Goat 5s are on sale for an awesome price. A special shoutout to Rambo, a very knowledgeable young man and an Eagle Scout, who went out of his way to help me find the perfect hiking shoes. I was torn between the Hoka Speed Goats and Topos, but thanks to Rambo's expertise, I ultimately chose the Topos. They even brought several pairs of the Hokas over from their outlet location to the main store for me to make a decision, which was amazing. There were no customer service people in that particular section, but we found it pretty quick since it was in the front of the store. We ended up with a purchase from the gym equipment section and found check out to be pretty quick. The cashier was friendly and asked if I had phone number registered for rewards which I did. He asked if I wanted my receipt which I appreciated since not all places do that. Location of the store is not the best as it is tucked back in the Milennia plaza where there is a lot of traffic. But its a good place to shop if you know exactly what you need and don't mind paying higher prices.

They no longer have all the inventory out in the store so you basically select the shoe or shoes that you're interested in and go to the kiosk, which is on the extreme left side of the shoe area. This store also has a wide variety of everything sporting goods, beach and camping gear, and beach a sporting apparel (and at decent prices). Her knowledge was impressive, but what stood out most was her attention to fit -- she evaluated width, length, and even recommended going up half a size based on the shoe's construction and the demands of long hikes. They have just about everything you need here for your backpacking, camping or hiking trip. But it can certainly get spendy. It's all the super high quality brands here so the price does not budge. There's a few sales here and there but that's why I wouldn't shop here so often. But once in a while it's nice and even to get inspiration for outdoors adventures. Something else cool about REI is they offer classes to members & nonmembers to teach you about backpacking, survival tips, and how to prepare for certain trips. I asked the gentleman working and he said that's all they had on that one. A few minutes later he brought me another shirt that was a similar color, but different style. It was perfect! I ended up like that one more. He pointed out a few other colors as well. He was very helpful but didn't seem like he appreciate the big hug I gave him. Oh well! I misread that one completely. It's a pretty big store with lots of clothing options and shoes/boots too. Their clearance prices are amazing for their brand and will definitely be back here if I'm in need of more hiking attire. As a kid, I remember being in a similar store and picking up "sex wax" and being completely…read moreconfused! So when I saw the shelf here in Rip Curl, full of sex wax, I had to laugh. But now, it makes total sense that it would be found in shop dedicated to surfing and other similar sports like skateboarding. This store reminded me a lot of Pac Sun but with the actual boards for sale as well--including wet suits! The clothing was cute and very ocean-esque. Boardshorts (about $30), bikinis, bathing suit cover-ups, sunglasses, flip flops, etc. were all present and well displayed. Most items bared the Rip Curl brand name but some were other well known lines like Rainbow sandals. Divided in half, one side of the store was dedicated to men and the other women with a few areas that both sexes would enjoy such as the wall of backpacks. And for $19.50, girls could purchase a sexy purple t-shirt that says, "Rip Curl Orlando," to mark your journey here. It's a nice store if you are a beach bum. And if you're not as dedicated to the waves, you can still enjoy the ambiance--Ben Harper on the stereo, and the idea that summer goes on forever.
