Baseball season is here so we stopped in to look for some batting gloves. Selection is fair, however, pricing was $10 more for the same brand pair we just bought at the competitor down the street. There were no customer service people in that particular section, but we found it pretty quick since it was in the front of the store. We ended up with a purchase from the gym equipment section and found check out to be pretty quick. The cashier was friendly and asked if I had phone number registered for rewards which I did. He asked if I wanted my receipt which I appreciated since not all places do that. Location of the store is not the best as it is tucked back in the Milennia plaza where there is a lot of traffic. But its a good place to shop if you know exactly what you need and don't mind paying higher prices. read more

DICK'S Sporting Goods at Millennia has a good selection and an organized layout, but customer service is consistently poor. In the athletic footwear department, the two clerks ignored me while chatting with each other, even though the store was nearly empty. Unfortunately, the lack of helpful staff isn't limited to just shoes--it's a problem throughout the store. Great products, but if you expect assistance or guidance, don't hold your breath. read more

When I walked in I was immediately welcomed with a welcome to the store - I asked a very nice girl who was putting away Nike supplies if she knew where the tennis racket stuff was. She told me it was in between the bike section and the golf section; for a Dick's Sporting Goods it is a very small in tennis section. I did end up getting us some tennis balls for $3.49. We stopped in here because my oldest was looking for a specific item. I asked an employee when we walked in where we might find swimming goggles and he pointed us to the section of the store. We went and looked at their selection, and my kid was able to find Ones that would work for them. they were satisfied with the price of them which I thought was a bit high. They have allergies with various materials so they have to be careful with everything they purchase. They seem to work really well for them and they're very happy. They also purchased the warranty on them, which was a very good deal. This is generally a very good place to shop for all your sporting goods needs. They are not always the cheapest, but they are dependable and have good selections. read more

I enjoy shopping at this Dick's Sporting Goods. They have a good inventory of name brand items and occasionally run sales on high demand items. The store is clean and organized making it easy to find the items that you want. I almost never see employees walking around and offering to assist customers but their cashiers are always pleasant. They are taking all of the Covid-19 safety precautions seriously. Everyone is masked and there is hand sanitizer available. Customers are respectfully staying 6 feet apart and they are keeping a watch on the number of shoppers in the store at one time. read more

This is a great sporting goods store in the Millennia area. Very good selection of running shoes and excellent selection of brands such as Brooks, Asics, Columbia, Merril, and Keen. There's a lot of great selection of camping gear as well as coolers and weight training equipment. All types of sporting goods. No associates were particularly engaging, friendly, or offering any information or help. Still the store was very maintained, clean and very well-stocked with some great values. read more

I was in there to use the bathroom with my friends after a long drive and while waiting for one of them I used the Demo Bike being kinda silly but not acting obnoxious and an employee told me to get of and I did without any problem but laughed and said "its a DEMO bike" and he said as I was walking away "oh then nevermind".....it's not a big deal but it did make me feel uncomfortable and I was gonna look around and maybe buy clothes but we just left cause of that lol. First time checking things out and for a Saturday evening, it was fairly empty. The store is huge, clean and rather organized. The women's activewear section had several major brands featured including Reebok and Carrie Underwood's new athletic line (because country music and athletics go hand and hand) , Calia, which is rather high end. Pretty stuff but wait till it goes on sale. The athletic shoe section is massive but not sure if you would get the one on one service that is indicative of smaller retailers. There is a nice little section off near the bicycle section with Team apparel for all Florida universities as well as Orlando City Soccer. And the prices were reasonable so may have to swing by again soon when we decide to venture out to our first soccer game. Basically, anything fitness related you can find here!! We came here to look for a bike because of bad customer service at the nearby Academy Sports. As soon as we approached the bikes a store associate approached us who was kind and helpful. They don't have as big as a bike selection and their prices are a little higher but found out they will do price matches. However they did not have the bike we were looking for but when asked if he would check another location he did gladly. Although their prices are more on the high end their customer service was great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the lack of bike selection & high prices. read more

Staff are numerous but sometimes are not that qualified, from our experience. Cons: Big store, sometimes hard to find help, some help had to go ask for basic info. Do not carry large enough Nike selection for my tastes. They seem similar but smalller than Sport Challet higher priced than Big 5. read more

Dick's Sporting Goods is big, boxy and a large chain. Usually I try to avoid stores that fall into those categories. In the case of Dick's however, it is also clean, well-stocked, conveniently located and well-priced, so I often find myself here. It is rather difficult to argue that there is a better place to shop for general sports equipment or clothing. Admittedly, there are some specialty shops that do a better job of catering to targeted markets, but for a weekend warrior or a parent trying to replace a lost basketball that somehow got kicked into a locked tennis court, Dick's more than fits the need. read more

This is my favorite Dick's Sporting Goods location to visit. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and overall seem to be some of the same employees when I visit. On this particular day I was looking for a new pair of sneakers, I ended up not finding the sneakers, but found a great sale on workout clothes. The story is always organized, well stocked and clean. On this particular visit I did not bring my bike, but there have been numerous times I have brought my bike in for a tune up. Norm who works in bikes is hands down the best! I will never go to another bike shop of sporting good store to take care of my bike since I met Norm. He is amazing at what he does! Expensive! Wow, I never realized a sporting goods store could have prices so astronomical! -Great set up with the departments. Shoes were what we were there for and luckily we did find some. They don't have as large of a selection of what other sports stores have, but what they do have is high quality. -Couldn't justify spending over $30 on 3 pairs of plain socks. -Customer service is lacking. I had to walk around the entire store to find someone to help us out. -Prices aren't as easily accessible as they should be. -This store will probably remain as a last resort for any sports supplies in our future. read more

Well I had to visit this location today it is located by the millennia mall. Very nice location the store is very well equipped with all types of sporting apparel, equipments, you name it they got it. Long story short I had to stop there today to return a pair of shoes that was delivered to me that was A little too snug for my feet so I went into the store with my package and receipt in hand and the staff they all welcome to me and I was able to exchange my shoe for another shoe without any questions asked everybody was all smiles maybe because the holidays are coming, but it's a very nice location I recommend it to anyone in the need of any type of sporting paraphernalia. read more

I went to the store at Millenia due to a sale. It was the first day of the sale and they did not have the mdse. I live far so I asked for a rain check, and they basically told me to "pound salt." The fishing area is not the greatest, but they did have some choices I have not seen else where. They carry some of Big Bite baits in 5 packs for only 1.49 a bag which allows you to try a lot of different things. I have gone in 6 times all together to deal with a situation involving the Restringing job on my tennis racquet. The first time was to restring my tennis racquet for the first time ever. They completely botched it up and within the next 3 weeks the strings snapped. Then after going into the store to pay full price again to have my strings restrung, they completely botched up the job again. Then to top it all off, They would not give me a full refund when I went back to just get my money back because I could not stand having my racquet messed up for a third time. At first they told me to come in for a full refund over the phone but when I arrived, they then changed their minds and said I would not receive a full refund. That's ridiculous considering they botched up my service after I paid full price on TWO different occasions within 1 month. The service was awful and the costumer service given so far is awful. Because of this Ridiculous experience, I see no reason to ever go back to any dicks again. No more dicks for me. read more
