Professional, helpful, friendly. These days, that is a rare treat. He approached us. We didn't have to hunt for anyone. Another visit, every department we even walked by, the sales staff spoke to us with a smile on their face. This must be a well-run store, to have handpicked so many people who clearly like what they do. The selection of items was wide, and the value was better than the item's own website.

But now, it makes total sense that it would be found in shop dedicated to surfing and other similar sports like skateboarding. This store reminded me a lot of Pac Sun but with the actual boards for sale as well--including wet suits! The clothing was cute and very ocean-esque. Boardshorts (about $30), bikinis, bathing suit cover-ups, sunglasses, flip flops, etc. were all present and well displayed. Most items bared the Rip Curl brand name but some were other well known lines like Rainbow sandals. Divided in half, one side of the store was dedicated to men and the other women with a few areas that both sexes would enjoy such as the wall of backpacks. And for $19.50, girls could purchase a sexy purple t-shirt that says, "Rip Curl Orlando," to mark your journey here. It's a nice store if you are a beach bum. And if you're not as dedicated to the waves, you can still enjoy the ambiance--Ben Harper on the stereo, and the idea that summer goes on forever.

Yet, as I made my through the open store, with very high ceilings, I realized that if you were an adrenaline seeker, you would be welcomed here. There's a tree in the center that looks very real despite the fact that it's not. There's also a wall of backpacks and Crocs to help your adrenaline filled experience, whatever it may be. In the back, they have bikes as well as skateboards and their various accessories. There are also quite a few bathing suits, for both sexes displayed. And for the boys, they had rather fashionable t-shirts for sale, 2 for $20. One of which was a walking advertisement for Red Stripe beer. And while I hummed to the Nirvana song playing, I realized that only a wall-sized window separated me from "The Flowrider." It's a ginormous room filled with a power wave for anyone wishing to try their hand at surfing. Water shoots out at you, extremely fast, while you and your board try to stand up against it. Talk about adrenaline rush! Should you want to take the challenge, it's $20 for 30 minutes of riding. If you believe you could do this on a regular basis, they have membership packages to suit your needs starting at $100 for 6 sessions all the way up to $1, 346.40 for a full year's worth. And if you and 19 of your friends want to go in on this together, it's $400/hour unless you go Monday through Saturday between 10am-12pm and 7pm-9pm when the prices drops to $300/hour.

The Good: Surfing minus sand in your pants: The simulated surf machine...FlowRider, is pretty freaking cool. It's about $20 to ride one time (and a bunch of signing waivers and whatnot) but if you're itching to ride the waves while you're at the mall, well this is your only option! And if you really like the (simulated) waves you can buy FlowRider passes that guarantee you a certain amount of FlowRider time per month. Not Just Surfing: There's plenty here for the avid xtreme sports fan, from skateboarding gear to BMX biking (and there's a croc wall for SOME reason) If you need gear, Adrenalina will get you want you need. The Bad: Dripping around the Mall: You can really tell who has been to Adrenalina as those will be the moister people walking around. Sure new clothes and a towel get off most of the moisture, but you really can always tell. Overall 9.6/10 Indoor Surfing and Shopping experience

They offer a variety of experiences in central Florida to cater to every level. If you want to gain more experience and learn, they offer lessons. And they have a beginner friendly tour, too. On top of providing all these amazing chances to be on the water, Ned and Tom also provide the greatest care to everyone. They're both so genuine and kind, as well as in tune with the needs of each group member. Love the vibe they have and the easy going, welcoming environment they create. It looks like this Billabong location is going out of business, if it hasn't already. I walked by…read morerecently and the windows were covered, with the store looking completely cleared out. When I visited last week, the inventory was already very limited. It was nearly impossible to find matching sets, and they didn't even have shopping bags available. The one upside was the price, everything was marked down to $10, so if you were able to find something, it was definitely a deal.
