Super shady and mansplaining alert!! When I purchased a handgun from there which was my 1st encounter, they were helpful, but hindsight is they had to have ripped me off. When I went in to sell a handgun, the low balled the offer of a 6 time used popular handgun. Then I went to a nearby dealer, who OFFL had to have emailed and they offered 1/2 of OFFL. The shops are all in it. I suggest go online to a reputable dealer, like WEBUYGUNS.com. The offer was 2 times more, super easy, all shipping costs covered by them and $ in my account the day after they received and honored the offer. BTW the offer was 4 times more than the other shop that was clearly in cahoots with OFFFL. LADIES: BEWARE of this shady shop. read more

I made a purchase through a wholesaler and did the transfer through Orlando FFL. Their transfer fee is considerably affordable, unlike some other gun stores in central florida. Some places charge up to $65+ for a transfer. The staff was very professional, seemed to care about the customers, and was extremely knowledgeable. After the initial inspection, I realized, I did not like the pistol grip. I was told by "Captain" that they had an extra one in their inventory from a previous build, and he was willing to install it for free. He made my pew pew much better. A little bit disappointed: I noticed I am one of the rare one with a "50/50" experience, so it might not be representative. I chose Orlando FFL based on their good reviews. It is 52 minutes away from my home, but their FFL fees are reasonable ($20+tax) and their reviews good. I bought a firearm at auction out in Maryland and asked to deliver it to Orlando FFL. Had the bill of sale in my possession. The firearm got transferred, they called to say they received it. Nice of them. As I work most of the day, it is hard for me to find free time except on mornings, but they open at 10:00. I found some time today to go pick up the firearm. As I do not have a CCW, I do have to follow a 5-days waiting period from the date of the purchase. I waited 2 weeks after my purchase to go, so that I could just fill out the paperwork, wait for the approval around (that normally takes 2hrs), show the bill of sale with the date that is more than 5 days, grab my firearm and leave. I bought a lot of firearms online and always processed to work this way: with Johnson (Miami), Shoot Straight (Ft Lauderdale), etc. They informed me at the end that they "don't work like this, per store policy" and that it is a "gray area". Formal that I couldn't pick up my firearm before next Thursday. I tried to explain that if I show proof that the purchase was made 5 days before, it was legal to release the firearm. Again, bought several firearms to super big firms that (I hope!) know the law pretty well. Impossible: they say they would release the firearm only if bought "to their place". For FFL transfers, they consider the purchase date as the date the paperwork is filled to their place. So I just had to drive 1hr to go to sign papers, back 1hr to my house, next week again 2hrs back and forth just to pick up a firearm that I could just have picked up today. It was not mentioned anywhere on the website that they worked like this, and find it disappointed that stores that decide to create personal business laws (and it is their right- they are free to run their business the way they want) don't mention it anywhere on the website, nor by phone. So if anyone is doing a FFL transfer, know that the 5 days don't start the day you BUY the firearm, but the day you sign the paperwork with them. Don't plan any long drive. read more

A little gem hidden downtown Ocoee. You won't find better price and service. Staff is friendly, helpful and very professional. Their inventory is not big, but very well chosen - only good stuff. I used to buy my guns at Gander Mountain. Despite the fact it's now closed for good, it was a long trip from Ocoee. Had I knew these guys before, I would never had driven all the way to Lake Mary. read more

The CCW class offered is done in a friendly, safe environment dictated by a knowledgeable instructor who bases the class using real life examples. I started my relationship with this great business by taking the free CCW class they offer. Marc and Zach were great and down to earth. I have since then purchase a pistol and accessories from them and the staff is always helpful.
