I've always heard great things about this shop, so when I finally made the decision to get certified, I knew exactly where to go. The knowledge of the staff and the passion they have for diving is apparent in everything they do. I have learned SO much and felt so confident in my ability to dive by the end of the class that getting in the ocean and applying my skills was no problem at all. They take the time to help you get fitted to the gear that you need for class and any other items you may need. John is the shop owner and he has always been so nice every time I've been in the shop. Brant was the primary person giving lectures and teaching the skills in our class, he is in the process of becoming an instructor and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. Don was observing Brant during our classes to help him get his instructor certification; Don took us on our checkout dive in the Keys as well and you can tell that he is so passionate about his career in diving and instructing. He kept everything fun and explained things in a way that was understandable and made sure that any questions we had were answered without making anyone feel silly for asking. We've also gotten help from Christina, Hector, Tyler, and Ryan(and a few others) but I seriously cannot say enough good things about these people! They have given us skills and knowledge that we will use throughout our whole dive career and I can't wait to continue learning from them!

I had a great conversation with Joe, who was at the shop fixing some gear. Joe asked great questions, and found that I am a licensed SCUBA diver. He told me about a world-class SCUBA area nearby where I could do a shore dive. Not only did he give me some great information, and stay at the shop to help me check out gear, but he offered to meet me near my hotel (about 30 minutes from the shop) for me to drop off the gear. The shop was to be closed the following day, and he wanted me to be able to go on the dive trip! The dive was incredible! I was able to explore a ship wreck, see a tiny octopus in a bottle, commune with eels and explore both a small reef area and the sea grass in search of sea horses. I can't believe I almost missed this treasure. The next day, Joe called me when he was in town, and actually came by my hotel and picked up the gear from me so we could make our flight on time. This is completely unheard of in the SCUBA world. A local business with kind folks and great service. I wish they were my local shop!

I took her to the first class (30 minutes) but was unable to attend 2 classes (1 hour) because of work. 4 of the classes were canceled (2 hours) due to weather - I understand they are trying to keep us safe and this is no fault of the center, HOWEVER they only tell/txt you that the class is cancelled 5 minutes before the start time! So we had to drive over there each time only to be sent away. One of these days the front desk person told me "well, the lightning is technically 12 miles away, and the rules say we have to close the center when it's 10 miles away, but we're just going to close it anyway because it's easier." On the last day of the session they said I had to come in for a single 1 hour 45 minute session to make up all the cancelled time. I feel it is unreasonable to expect a 4-year old with ZERO previous pool experience to attend a class of this length. They were unwilling to schedule any alternatives and I was told I would just lose the money. I called and talked to people in the office twice and was told "oh well, this is how we do it." They have group classes running for 3 more weeks, but even though there are available spaces, they have refused to allow any kind of drop in, even for just one or two classes. Ultimately I feel I have wasted both my time and money here.

I was riding the rivers and hit a submerged piece of wood. The bottom of the Seadoo in front of the ride plate definitely had some significant damage. A friend recommended Ruben for the repair. Ruben immediately told me this is not a total and this happens a lot. I trusted his expertise and left the ski at the shop. After the insurance evaluated the damages the magic started. I was totally surprised with the workmanship and making sure the engine was in good shape along with some other water damaged electrical parts. After I picked it up I rode 400 miles in 4 days and no issues... Thank you again for everything you did to put her back in the water.

We were leaving for Florida on Thursday from Buffalo NY and I came across Captain Bills great reviews and fabulous fishing pictures from past clients. I called and after a few questions were answered I knew Bill was our guide. He didn't want a deposit and even said if we weren't happy with our day with him we didn't have to pay. Wow this Captain sure is confident in his abilities, you're not going to find other captains taking that risk. It was an early start to the day meeting at his boat at 6:30AM, and we began a perfect morning fishing on Lake Toho. Bill was at the dock we were a little late as we had some GPS issues in the rental car. Clean facilities at the dock, and a very clean restroom available as well before heading out on the water. We left the dock and what a beautiful morning to be on the lake. My wife's first cast, not even a minute in the water and we had our first fish in the boat. The rest of the day was awesome fishing and Bill made a change of location if the bite slowed. The last area we hit had a consistent bite and we brought in some of the biggest fish of the day. By far the biggest Bass I have ever caught. Our day ended when the 3 dozen shiners were gone, Bill didn't watch the clock or care about the time, he even went an hour over what we booked. The fishing was great Captain Bill worked hard and kept us entertained with his stories and jokes, we couldn't of asked for a better day. We will fish with Captain Bill everytime we come to Orlando!
