That was basically the extent of it. I swam to see one of the springs. But for $500 for a family of 5; I wish there we could have seen others or at least tried to go and see other ones. It also would have been helpful if we could have had an option to cancel if they had tours that didn't see any or really low exposure that day (or been able to reschedule for a colder day).

There is also a kiddie pool area that is part of the spring. It was only $5 to get in for 2 people in one car and bring cash! It is a nature park and you do see wild life!! They also have themed nights and exclusive school nights. You can bring your own skates but you'll need to make sure that they pass the skate check. As a side note you'll also want to make sure you bring in identification for all adults, and leave any food or drinks that come from outside in your car. Learned both of these the hard way. They have a smaller child skating area that helps them learn before they get out onto the bigger floor. Our daughter enjoyed this so that she had a little bit of time to learn before being thrown into a large space. We did have her try out the large space after about an hour of practice. They also have a limited number of arcade games, a small cafe, and a birthday party room. Overall: A Well it is a bit dated and could use some upgrades, it brings with it all the nostalgia of my childhood so it was still a win. While on vacation, I accidentally dropped my husband's phone in Lake Toho at 15 feet deep. Unfortunately, it also had his Military ID, Driver's License and credit cards in the case. We were lucky enough to have a fish finder which very accurately recorded the location. We were due to leave the area the next day. We decided to call local dive shops to see if anyone was able to attempt to recover the phone. I was sure no one would scuba dive in a lake that contains alligators! I spoke with someone at Dayo Scuba who said he would pass the information on to Tim. Tim responded quickly and we got communication going. His fee was very reasonable and he told us when he was available to search for the phone. Communication was consistant and we all had our fingers crossed that the search would be successful. We always knew there was a possibility it might not be located. The big day arrived and Tim notified us while still on location that he was indeed able to locate the phone! It was an incredible accomplishment and we are so greatful. We know that this was no easy task and we are so very lucky we found Dayo. We hope to never need this type of service again, but if you do, I am confident that Tim will do his absolute best to recover your property. In our experience, this entire process was flawless. I don't live in Florida and Dayo has been a great local connection for North Florida cavern diving. I came Orlando in spring of 2016 on a business trip and arranged a Cavern Diving class with Dayo at the end of my trip. I received excellent Cavern instruction from Instructor Chris and the whole Dayo team was very Cave Country savvy, knowing the best places to eat, stay, and dive. My Cavern dives were held at Wes Skiles State Park and Little River, real signature North Florida dive sites. I had another business trip lined up in the spring of 2018 and I reached out to Dayo to get me back into the North Florida caverns. Dayo was great, arranging tanks, weights, lodging, and a fantastic dive guide to get me running line once again in caverns. Instructor Tim was a wonderful dive companion, helping me refresh my skills and get back into the rhythm of leading in the cavern zone. He also shot amazing photos and video along the way (he has a great eye) and happily shared them with me. I've had fantastic experiences with the Dayo team and hope my travels take me out to Florida again soon. read more

I recently travelled to Florida to get my open water dive certification. Being from Canada I was concerned about having to deal with not only the uncertainties of never having done scuba before but also which training company to go with. Having been recommended to Dayo by a friend and reading a lot of online reviews I was sold. The experience was the most enjoyable time I've had in years. From the very first contact through to the last day of the course the staff was nothing but warm, welcoming and professional. I can't say enough great things about all the trainers I met and worked with while doing my certification. Denise, TJ, Carol and Bob made the experience not only safe but memorable as well. Words can only say so much, the ultimate compliment for any business is a repeat customer. Having said that I will be returning to complete my Nitrox and advanced course with Dayo in the near future and I hope to be able to get my wife and two teenage children certified through Dayo as well. Great service and great diving. I arranged my dives via email from the UK before I travelled. Denise sorted everything out with quick responses and all the necessary details, including a pick-up from my hotel. The day's diving with Tim was great. Our first destination was shut because of manatee activity, so he drove on to another dive site so I wouldn't miss out on underwater time, and then drove back to our first choice dive site once it was open. Tim's a great dive guide. His dive briefs were clear and detailed and I knew exactly what to expect when we went down. He's also great company and hanging out with him for our extended drives in the truck was pretty good fun as well. They took a ton of pictures and sent me the link to download them for free. Dayo is my go-to for all things scuba! I got certified last August but had to come back and leave a review after diving with other shops and charters because they are THE best by far. Whenever I dive with Dayo, all my questions are answered and I always feel safe. I never feel ill-informed or overlooked (which isn't always the norm, unfortunately.) Tim, Chris, and Ken are extremely informative, supportive instructors! The staff is always super friendly and Denise is an absolute DREAM. My 15 yr old son and I were visiting Orlando from Seattle last week for spring break and passed our open water certification with Dayo for Boy Scouts. Denise was very responsive to my requests for info before the class. BobA is a great divemaster with plenty of experience. He helped my son and I get comfortable and learn scuba quickly in the pool and during the lake dives. The second lake dive @ Rainbow River was a great experience, with plenty of fish and cool things to see underwater. The other Dayo staff were helpful as we checked our gear before the dives - Lawrence helped me find a worn o-ring on my tank and replace with a new one. Everyone at the Dive shop is friendly and will answer any questions you have(I am very curious). I've gotten a lot of gear here as it is much cheaper at Dayo than other local shops, like my bare 3 mil wetsuit $30 cheaper. My Open Water certification was very easy going and they let me do the exams and the pool work one week, and the dives 2 weeks later. They just love helping people dive, and do it safely. I've been regularly diving with them now for 6 months and they are way better than any of the other dive shops around. I'm getting my advanced open water certification with them because they know what they are doing, and they aren't a bunch of creeps like some other shops I've been to. read more

I dive almost every week and I use Dayo Scuba. Dayo has the three ' T's ' every good diver is looking for in a shop. Great Training, fast good Tank fills, and a friendly shop Team. When's the last time your dive shop said your first name when you opened their door? They cover training from open water thru tech wreck and cave diving including trimix and beyond. Full gear rental, dive trips, and a great way to easily meet new like-minded divers. All divers love animals and Dayo has both shop dogs and scuba cats that need an ear rub when you stop by. I have 23 dives, but wanted a refresher, so I took my kids to Dayo Scuba. They are friendly and professional. Training is thorough and gear is not at all expensive. They certainly love what they do, which is concentrated on training. I was a poor overweight swimmer but made the cut. I think they would have cut me if I didn't complete the swim test satisfactorily. The pool training was fun. Lake Denton has poor visibility and is not deep or exciting. It might turn some people off to continue diving. However, once you've done an ocean dive, you'll be hooked forever. read more

I had a great week training with DAYO. I was able to complete my open, advanced, and nitrox classes. Denise was absolutely amazing! She responded to emails I had sent on weekends and even a holiday. Tim Riley was my instructor and he was awesome! He turned a Kansas boy into a diver! If you're interested buying your own gear they will point you in the best and not the most expensive direction. I have never made a reservation. I normally arrive around 10:30, most recently on a Friday. Parked for free on Baptist Camp Rd. Just a bit of a walk from there with my inflated paddleboard, but I don't mind the extra exercise. You can unload your stuff closer, if preferable. There are port-a-potties available. You can count on there being a line in the check-in office. Various recreation supplies are available there for purchase. The process moves reasonably enough. A reservation will guarantee your entrance, however, and possibly aide quicker personal info collection. I always plan to do the Emerald Cut in roughly 3 hours round-trip, allowing myself several stops to enjoy the surroundings. You do run into (quite literally at times) novice paddlers along the way, which can be a bit tricky, yet not a real nuisance for me. In general, there's friendliness along the waterway. Slighty rowdy, party vibes in some spots, but also opportunities for solace and zen in various nooks. Encountering wildlife, fragrant elderberry, and other captivating flora along this stretch is always gratifying. It's a popular recreation destination for good reason.

If you're looking to try something new, this may be just the place!…read more My friend and I try to get together once a month to do something adventurous. This month we ended up at Central Florida archery. We signed up for a 2 person novice lesson. When we got there, they had the equipment ready for us. Our instructor was Mike, and he was great! Mike walked us through how to decide which I is dominant, how to hold a bow, how to shoot, how to aim, and everything we need to get started. Then we got to shooting! The lesson was one hour long. Mike was so good, we both got bullseyes before time was up! We're already talking about planning another day to come out and do this again. It was such a fun experience. They offer lessons from one person up to a group of people. They also allow you to bring your own gear or rent their gear to just come and shoot without doing a lesson. One thing to note: The address will take you to a red gate, which is closed. You have to open the gate to get in (it's just latched) and close it behind yourself before driving down the sandy road to the parking lot.

Boats are always in great repair, rates are very reasonable. Enjoy a nice trip and enjoy the Dora canal! My 98 year old father in law LOVES the water, and this is always a treat for him.

Super cool couple who rent their brand new seadoo 3 person jet skis to anyone who's got the cash!…read more(That being $200 an hour per ski) I had some friends over for a get together a month or so ago, and live on Lake Fairview, so we got their number from a website, all pitched in, and we couldn't have been happier! 2 high powered 1100 blue seadoos with a Bluetooth waterproof speaker blaring out 1000w! Which is perfect bc you can hear your music while you're pushing 43mph across the lake! And btw, 10 people were satisfied with a 2 hour rental for 2 of these bad boys. Oh, and the skis have GPS too, so if you get out to Butler Chain you won't get lost! Thanks again guys, hope to see you at EDC!

The best part of this business is they have different types of rental packages and options that they bring out to you! You are not confined to the lake they are located on but can pick from multiple lakes in the Central Florida area. The owner is a professional laid back individual who is a pleasure to work with. Our family had a great time and will definitely be using them again.

The owner, Mark, is really nice, really professional and super accommodating! Well, my wife's mother is coming for a visit tomorrow, and I called Mark on short notice to see what he had available. Fortunately, tomorrow is a weekday in the Fall, so he could accommodate a boat for all day just a day in advance! My other review has been relegated to the "not recommended" section of YELP reviews. This happens to me with my own business, so I always view the "not recs" when I check out a YELP page. I think the "algorithm" they use is wonky. So I recommend you check the "Not recs" too. Get Wet has a nice selection of well-maintained boats. Are they like brand new? Come on! Rented pontoon boats? But the value is awesome, because the boats work, they give you a safety briefing, and they are SUPER-NICE! I would rather have my own boat, but since I don't, Mark at Get Wet is my go-to guy. I don't usually gush in my reviews, but I am REALLY happy with these people, and I haven't even gotten to my second booking yet! I wish I were as happy with YELP!
