And from the staff to the dock hands, to the quality of the vessel and cleanliness of the shop: 10/10. A guide handed us a laminated map (nice touch) and told us where to head for manatee sightings. And even pointed us to a cove that homes a lot of turtles and alligators. We saw it all! They have volunteers overseeing the 3 sisters springs, to help monitor the safety of the manatees (and scold ignorant people lol). Great time! If you're unsure, let me assure you.. just book.

She has a very petite face and has struggled for years to find one that actually works. Walt was so patient and walked her through everything step by step. He also helped her find basic swim gear, including a shorty wetsuit that fit correctly without leaking. While he was working with her, I explored the massive store and picked up fins, booties, and a full-length wetsuit. I love that they have so much inventory. You can really take your time trying different options and finding what fits best. I was able to compare fins with different bootie lengths and try on wetsuits that were actually sized correctly. Huge shoutout as well to the general manager Rachael and assistant manager Loren for their patience during checkout. My mom was able to drive her gear home, but I was flying back to Virginia the next day and stressing about packing everything. They reminded me about the free shipping over a certain amount, which was an epic stress reliever. Overall, I absolutely love this store. I wish we had something like it where I live. Ladies, the fins are sized for men unfortunately, so pick the size that is about 1.5 sizes lower than what you usually wear, based on advice I got from a staff member. Sure enough, as someone who normally wears a women's 11, the size 9-10 fins fit perfectly, and I didn't even bother trying any other sizes. There were plenty of fins for a variety of sizes available, and prices were competitive, reasonable, and accurate compared to their website. The staff member at the register was able to apply the 10% off welcome offer to my order, so I walked away with brand new fins for less than $40! Overall a very smooth process!

We started at the River Ventures Dive Center at 6:30AM, where we were offered coffee, tea, hot cocoa and snacks, and spent the next bit with an educational video and a wetsuit fitting. From there, we took a bus to the dock, in the most gorgeous sunrise light. let by our Guide Nat. Captain Emerson met us at the covered, heated pontoon, and our group set off through the water, for the protected manatee zone. The water was FULL of our sweet sea potatoes... in fact, it was difficult to even get off the boat because our new friends swam right up to the ladder. Nat had given excellent instructions. We immediately leaned into our pool noodles and gently followed her lead through the water. It took just moments before manatees were all around us. We stayed calm and quiet, and they either continued snoozing, or swam up to investigate us. Nat was on point with the camera, and with showing us things like the tarpon and sheepshead fish, and she was also shared little details about the manatees as we floated. Of course, with nature, there are no guarantees, and I really had no idea what to expect, but I was absolutely delighted by the interactions we had. The cold snap absolutely played into our favor, and I am so glad we showed up with our adventurous spirit. When we returned to the boat, there were more snacks, as well as hot cocoa, coffee, tea, and a variety of drinks in the cooler (water, beer, wine, soda, and white claws). We were so grateful for the boat covering and heater as we made our way back to the dock, and we had great chats with Nat, Emerson, and the other group on our tour. Was it cold? Sure. But the water felt great at 72ºF, and our wetsuits did a wonderful job of protecting us and keeping us buoyant. Our experience was incredible, from booking, to engaging with the staff with any questions we had, to the actual tour itself. The photos and videos were absolutely phenomenal, as well, and we were happy to purchase the package, as well as some gifts from the souvenir shop. My daughter has suffered a serve medical trauma that left us unable to use/find properties based on her being wheelchair bound Even arriving at a location where we were placed in a property that we couldn't even access. After many calls with increasingly poor customer service we decided to end the relationship. We were given options and tried the Pinnacle option (waste of time and $$) So we choose the exit option they offer. Of course they want more money. We were told we would have to exit by a specific date. We spent over 8hrs on the phone trying to exercise the option constant transfers and disconnects. Final spoke to someone who gave us a new price of over 4000.00 more. When asked to speak to someone he informed there is no one else and that he has no manager. Refused our money and said that he was ok that someone lied to us about the cost. I am not exaggerating at all these are his words and are recorded. I could only laugh in utter disbelief. He told me there is no way to process a complaint. Please avoid this company and their predatory practices. I refuse to pay one more dime then the 6082.00 dollars i was told I could pay to exit. I am not trying to get out free just trying to be treated with some sense of fairness. Until there is an agreement of PIF I will not send them another payment
