Cost was a major factor, as well as time to complete the project so we could make the house livable again. Emmanuel was immediately responsive to our initial inquiry, and met me at the house as soon as I could free up time the next evening. He was thorough in his inspection, showed me costs and breakdowns for everything we were trying to do, and some flooring options. I thought I could save money purchasing the flooring on my own, which he supported. After doing my research, he was cheaper than anything I could find, and came back out a second time that weekend so my wife could pick out the flooring from his samples. He had a crew start that next week, and knocked it out of the park. We had some other projects going on at the same time, and his crew was not only respectful and worked well with the other groups, they were super helpful and helped with some things that wasn't in their project (like helping with some bulk trash and working around the painter). They also responded quickly to some project changes, like when I asked them to add baseboards, even though I initially asked them to exclude it. Throughout it all, Emmanuel kept me updated daily with phone calls and texts with pictures showing the progress. I was and am very impressed by Emmanuel and his team. They did a great job at more than a fair price, IMHO. While I'm hoping I don't need to replace floors any time soon, he will definitely be the first one I call.

The job was replacing three bedrooms with laminate, however after they pulled up the carpeting, they found two spots that needed to be leveled. This was done quickly and didn't end up adding any time to the job, they actually finished before they said they would be done, even with the extra work that needed to be done to level and grind down the concrete! Martin showed up to give an estimate tiling our master closet, then told him a few months later, we would be doing out bedrooms, after my step son moves out. He measured the closet, 10 or so min later, he leaves and said he would send me an estimate. I hadn't heard from him, so I emailed him on Friday November 5th asking about the estimate..... nothing!! I emailed him again on yesterday. November 15th, and unfortunately, still no reply... I would have at least expected the courtesy of an email saying... can't do it, job is to small, something... After this, I would not recommend him or his company to anyone. Not the way to earn business and word of mouth business.!!! I have a few friends that were thinking about flooring too. My mother visited J & B Carpets on a Friday afternoon and selected an in stock carpet. The room was measured on Saturday morning. They installed the carpet on Monday!!!! Mom is thrilled with the carpet! Her granddaughter who is now staying there assures me the carpet is soft, well-padded and beautiful. The price was very reasonable and the customer service is excellent. I am so happy I sent my mom there and not to some big box store where she would be just another number.
