We were recommended by friends to go to this business and have our iPhone repaired! From the first moment in the store the staff was outstanding! They explained everything they were going to do and also even offered to show us how to apply a glass safety screen! Unfortunately when we went back to pick up our phone and iPad! There was a VERY Disgruntle customer! This guy went on and on about his phone being not his phone etc! The staff maintained there professionalism and tried to explain the phone he brought in had software issues and they repeated this several times! Finally the staff member ask for this jerk to leave the store and of course he wouldn't! So they had to call the cops! We left, but I'm sure they handled the issue just fine! Had 2 phones repaired here, first one I had to bring back because the digitizer they replaced was bad the next day and THEN just had my husbands phone repaired here, bought 2 cases one for his phone one for mine and also bought tempered glass screen protectors for both phones. We've had the screen repaired for only a week and it broke while he was using the phone, no fall, no damage happened to the phone. They are just using cheap parts! Took it back in and they wouldn't replace the screen under their warranty because it doesn't cover "damage". We tried to explain to them that there was no damage that happened to the phone, my husband just had surgery and all that he has been doing is laying down. We also tried to get them to notice that the tempered glass screen protector was still intact with NO chips breaks or scratches, but they didn't want to look at it. The cheap screen replacement they used underneath the protector was the only thing damaged. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, THEY ARE A SCAM!!! Thank you to "Jacob" for your SCAM of a reply. That is the WORST "trying to get myself and my business out of the hot seat" reply I have EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. You and your business are using cheap replacement parts. Dropped my phone today and completely shattered the whole screen. I called them around 4, came in at 4:15, and left at 4:40 with a brand new phone screen and a lifetime warranty. Jacob at the front was very helpful and welcoming, and didn't once make me feel stupid for dropping my phone (even though that happens quite frequently for their customers). I went here for a minor crack on my iPhone XR max screen. When I went through the door I was told that they had no more in stock and that it would be a few days for them to get new stock. No big deal, I could wait. And one of the guys even offered me a "special manager price." Cool. Came back when they had the part in stock and saw a different guy at the counter. He said yes we have screens in stock I can replace yours within the hour. However, he had no idea what the "special manager price" was so I had to pay full price totaling to 215$. (Yikes). I was disappointed but whatever. When I came back for my phone I brought it home before I used it. That's when I noticed the colors were WAY off. My screen was super washed out, dull and the colors were off. But then I started noticing other things. It was clicking things I was not clicking, opening the camera on the wake screen and typing the wrong letters when I was texting. Sometimes it wouldn't even recognize my touch at all! Even worse, when I had it in my pocket it called my mom 7 times and 911 twice. It was so hypersensitive and clicking things for me. And because I have an XR there is a hard touch feature where you push down harder on the screen to get more options. With this screen it was doing the hard click on EVERYTHING. I couldn't open some apps because It would hard click on them. Needless to say I was beyond frustrated and disappointed. I came in the next day because they had closed to see what the heck was going on and they said I would need my whole screen replaced? I don't know what that means no one bothered to tell me but I said ok and waited another 45 min. When I came back they handed me my phone with the second piece of glass and guess what? Colors washed out, screen about 50% as sensitive as the last one. Still clicking things for me but not as bad and not recognizing my touch at times. I am close to tears at this point as I cannot afford another phone and this repair was very expensive. I ask why the colors are so dull and they say that I got the basic repair, and that there is a better screen that I would have paid 280$ for that doesn't dull the colors. First of all, no one told me that when I got the original repair done, otherwise I would have gone with that. And second of all, I would have to wait another week for it to be in stock. I hate the way my phone is now so will wait a week and get my screen replaced for the THIRD time. I will still have to pay the difference between the 215$ and the 280$ screen. I feel taken advantage of and conned. If I would have known this would have happened I would have kept my cracked screen and just saved up for a new phone. I left the place in tears and if my screen is still messed up after the third replacement I don't know what I will do. I am so disappointed and let down. My phone is now ruined. Edit: also my phone battery seems to be dying at a much faster rate post repair. Not sure if it is related but I have a bad feeling it is. read more

I hate giving one star reviews but my phone was never fixed which I could forgive if they were honest instead of giving me the run around. My phone would shut off randomly and wouldn't even turn on when I gave it to them. They said they had to hold it overnight which was fine with me. Three days later I never got a call for my phone! I called the store and they said it's been ready. Ugh OK so I take it home and about three hours later it begins shutting off randomly again. I return and they said they'll try again. Again, I didn't receive a call saying it's ready so I call and it's ready. Within hours again, the same thing. It's obviously not going to be fixed so I ask for a refund. They say no. They try again. No difference but they keep giving it back to me like it's been fixed but it's not! And no partial refund or anything. I ended up getting a new phone because I couldn't go without a phone any longer. I would have just appreciated phone calls when it's ready but my guess is they were nervous because they couldn't fix it. And honesty or an apology that I had to return three times! My suggestion is only coming here if your screen is broken and nothing else. read more

Cute and clean shop. This is my second time visiting this location for a screen repair. My first visit, I was helped by Jacob. Jacob was friendly, helpful and very resourceful. Great customer service. For our second visit, we were helped by a different employee ( didn't get name). I don't recall him speaking a full sentence during the drop off or pick up. I took my iphone 4S in because my receiver was acting funny. I was having distortion every time I was on the phone and could barely make out what people were saying. Being a saleperson, phone is my bread maker and it was critical to get this fixed as soon as possible. I usually come here for screen repair. I took my laptop in. They held it for 2 weeks and when I called they said I didn't authorize the work. So I told them to fix it and a week later they gave it to me without the charger. I told them that I left it with them and they said they would get back to me. I was so prepped to write them an amazing review. The girl working the counter is so welcoming, polite, and knowledgeable. I took my iPhone 6 in to get the screen replaced after it got smashed. They had my phone done and perfect within an hour without and appointment. Even though they charged $50 more ($150) than getting getting it repaired at the Apple Store I was just thankful to get it fixed the same day. The screen felt different but I just chalked it up to being aftermarket. Now less then 24 hours latter my home button got stuck and sent many spider cracks through my brand new screen.... Calling them today because they offered an amazing warranty, I was told they don't cover physical damages. Makes since, but it cracked because the home button. The man today offered me a 10% discount but I had to pay another $150. Not even 24 hours later and I'm about to drop nearly $300 on a phone? So sad. If this is how they treat new customers then I'll wait for Apple. They could have had me for life if they if they just showed any kind of empathy. My iPhone 8 Plus was frozen on the Apple start up screen. I took it in & was told it had to be a battery problem, but I didn't feel that was the issue since I had no prior issues with keeping a charge. So I paid $20 for the diagnostics only to receive a call later that there was nothing to be done that the battery was not an issue & their computer would not recognize the device so they can't restore the phone . I then called Apple customer support & they walked me through doing a reset/restore through my laptop on iTunes . Easiest fix !! Waste of time & money coming to this place. read more

My iPhone 5S stopped charging. I figured it was the port connector and would cost me about $60 to fix. Walked into the store, I was immediately greeted by a guy from behind the counter and he asked how can he help. I described the problem, he let me know that he'd have to look at it closer to confirm the suspect issue. He took my phone to the back of the store and reappeared two minutes later. I was waiting for the bad news, when he told me that my phone had so much dirt and lint in the connector port that the lighting charger couldn't connect properly. He cleaned it out, showed me that the battery successfully charges and handed me back the phone. I asked him how much for the repair/cleaning? No charge, he replied. Went to ScreenWorks in Clovis and they fix it in 1 hour......That not all I bought a glass protection and a new phone case.....However they give me 20% off on both of them.....The screen replaced is $99 and the total amount is about $152......Cause the glass protection is not cheap but it we'll help very much.....My phone look super new.... Took my wife's Samsung s4 in on 12/26/13 to have the screen replaced, it had a small crack in the screen. Phone was less than 2 months old and have no issues with it since we got it new. Called before coming by and was told it would take about 2 hrs. Dropped it off at 2;15pm and came back at 4:45pm and was told it would be another half hour or so. Finally got phone at 5:25pm and left. We live in another city and by the time we got home phone was not working. Buttons had disappeared, couldn't send or get texts or calls. Went back today 12/27/13 to get phone fixed from the mess from the day before. Dropped off phone at 10:45am and was told it would take about 2 hrs. Came back at 4:00pm and was told had to wait about 15 mins. Got the phone was told about a bunch of "issues" and how they had to replace the charging part and they would not charge me for it. NOTHING was wrong with this new phone except a cracked glass from a defective cover. Got home tonight and the phone still does not work correctly, no calls, or cannot send texts. This cost us $126.00 and we may have to purchase a new phone. Stay away from this horrible business. Unless you either want to have to take a chance or go to court or just take the loss like we probably will. I will post everywhere I can find about our real life experience and tell everyone we know about how bad this business is. read more

Didn't know it was possible to be this frustrated and disappointed, each time more than the last. Went into here on THREE separate occasions. Just to get a normal screen. First time, they gave me an orangey, pixely, high contrast looking screen. I'm not even picky but this was so funky. So I called and they tried telling me this was actually higher quality somehow? But they tell me I can come in to get it replaced. I come in the next week and they have my phone for over an hour, and then tell me that they had a bad batch of screens and that I need to come in next week. Don't know why they couldn't just tell me that before I waited around for an hour. Came back yet again. They find a minuscule mark on the screen and now say it can't be replaced at all without me being charged another hundred and something. Are you kidding me?! Zero warning that my screen would turn out jank as hell, then out of the replacement screen, and within that third week of my waiting around it gets a tiny crack and now can't be fixed at all under warranty. I would have been so much better off buying a $20 screen online and watching a Youtube video to fix it myself. This whole experience has just taken hours off my life and I'm beyond annoyed. read more

I brought ScreenWorks an iPhone XR that had been water damaged. I was told twice in two days that the phone was ready for pickup only to leave empty handed because the phone was "still in pieces". When I brought up the lack of communication to the General Manager Jacob he became short with me and told me that they could put it back together right then and I could come get it within the hour. I told him that they could have as much time as needed to fix the phone but he told me it would be ready for pickup whenever I wanted to come get it. I waited until later that afternoon to give them adequate time to reassemble the phone. I told the tech I picked the phone up from that I was going to take the phone to another shop for a second opinion. The tech told me that the had opened up the phone, dried it out, and tested everything. He said that after the work they did the phone was no longer usable. I took the phone to RepairAll at the Sierra Vista Mall and explained to the tech my experience with ScreenWorks. He origionally defended ScreenWorks and the work they put out. The next morning I received a phone call from RepairAll to let me know that in their professional opinion that the phone had never been opened (they could tell by the seals) and that it was still full of water. The tech replaced the battery (the first thing they check) and the phone works great. I contacted Jacob at ScreenWorks to ask for a refund for services I was charged for ($20 for the water treatment) that were not performed. I presented the documentation from RepairAll as to the condition of the phone after being in care of ScreenWorks. Jacob declined my request and said that he did not trust the other shop and wouldn't stand by their work. Use my experience as an example. Stay away from ScreenWorks. I have all the documentation to back up all of the statements made in this review. read more
