Excellent customer service. I set up an appointment for an estimate for nine screens - Matt arrived promptly. No waiting around for excuses. I set up another appointment for the screen install and again - prompt and efficient. Arrived at said time and did a fabulous job. Believe me - I thought I was doing business on the Mainland and not on Maui. Screens look fantastic and I couldn't be happier. Any time we need additional screens - Screens by Howie is the ONLY company I will call. Use them - you'll be very happy... read more

Screens by Howie is reliable, fairly priced, and, the best part is he is willing to have a conversation (not an argument) if things aren't quite perfect. His screens fit very well. He and his son were very clean. If you have a large job, as we did, it would be good if someone took notes just so that things don't get confused. He gave us a nice discount (on top of already fair prices) for the amount of work that we gave him, and I appreciate it. 1. He returned our phone call promptly. 2. He kept the first appointment. He was on time. 3. He promised a bid by the next day. He texted a photo of the bid the following morning. 4. There was a mistake in our communication. He replaced two windows we said didn't need replacing. We talked it out and came to an agreement. We would pay him for the work he did because we thought his work was better than the work that was done before him. 5. He came back the same week to finish the two windows that were supposed to have been replaced. We added a third window that I forgot to mention. 6. He and his son were always very polite and respectful. Throughout the process, he was pleasant, agreeable, and more than willing to work out something in our favor after the miscommunication, but we refused. His work was fairly priced in the first place. We just got the bonus of having an entire two-story house and ohana and garage with brand new screens, versus shorting the two screens we had replaced ourselves last year. I would engage with him again. read more

Beau and Ryan from Screens By Howie just left my condo and I can't say enough about the great service they provided. i made an appointment with them two days ago, they arrived on time and had the job done in less than an hour. My screen is a very old custom size and they needed to drill new holes to make everything fit back together properly. They did an excellent job and my invoice was for the quoted amount with no up charge for the extra work it took to do the job. These guys are great, and I have no hesitation in recommending them with a five star review. read more

We recently bought a condo in Napili that needed alot of repairs, including all the window screens. After searching on yelp and getting turned away from another company that was not willing service the westside of Maui, I found Screens by Howie and reached out to them. Not only were they quick to respond with a quote, they showed up on time and rebuilt all 4 of my screens in less than a half hour. They were very friendly, and the work they did was high quality. Howie was a true pleasure to work with on the replacement of our window screens. He replaced all our dated and torn screen, including the sliding doors and the front door. We had tried some years back with another provider, who wouldn't even try these big screens. With Howie, we were able to arrange an appointment on short notice via text and email over the weekend; he showed up on time and with prior text to foretell his arrival. He was extremely courteous, professional and clean with his work. It's truly refreshing to work with someone who still takes pride in his work.
