I did a lot of research in finding the right company for our needs and Mario impressed us right off the bat. He brought the showroom to US and spent a lot of time in answering all our questions and asking about our concerns. It took about 7 months for our custom windows and door to land in Honolulu. The install crew: JP, Koa, and Jonah were awesome. They came on time each day and stayed focused the whole time. I could tell this wasn't their first rodeo and they had their system down pat. All the windows were changed out on day one. They did the sliding door and all finishing, patched holes, and made sure every single window was perfect before they left. They finished our whole house in two days. JP noticed one of the glass panes had issues so he put it an order for a new one to replace it. JP walked me through the functionality of every window and door each day and made sure I understood how all the moving parts worked. What impressed me the most was the work they did on our kitchen window. The sill was rusted bad and they fixed it up. I've had to live with these old windows since 2003 and I'm so glad they're finally changed and TRIPLE SECURE. The best part about the new windows is the sound barrier. We no longer have to hear the karaoke outside and the fireworks!!! The UV protection also makes the house much cooler during the day. Our old windows baked us alive. UP NEXT...HOUSE PAINTING ‍

From inquiry to install Windows Hawaii took such good care of us & our home!! This company is by far the absolute BEST company we have worked with. 1st Mario came -his cool, calm, local vibes personality made us feel like we knew him for years. His expert knowledge of the product, the demo, & clarification of time dates of install gave us all the tools we needed to feel confident in moving forward with choosing Windows Hawaii. We talked over the price - we felt we were getting a great deal compared to the other estimates we were given. Windows Hawaii has better quality products. 2nd Kurt did measurements. He was kind, professional, took some notes & was on his way - super impressed with his efficiency. 3rd- installment JP, Jona, & Koa did ALL the demo, install, & clean up of all 15 windows of various sizes. I am SO IMPRESSED with all of them! From the moment they arrived, all thru the day, & into early evening hours of each of the install days, these guys worked nonstop!! They are sooooo good at what they do! The 3 of them worked together so well. I could tell this is more than a job for them. They are passionate about what they do & take pride in their work as seen in my photos - the windows are flawless. The 3 of them are all very nice when I had questions. They are by far the absolute best crew I have ever had working on my home. The clean up they did at the end of each day, the only way I could tell someone was there was because it was cleaner both inside & outside than how it was when I left it. Love my new windows Loved the whole process Thank you so much!!!!!!!

We are so happy with the windows and sliding doors. Because of pandemic, it took a long time before the installation but it's great to have nice secure windows. Big noise reduction!! So surprised. Also our house is a lot cooler. The coating on the window makes big difference. House we bought had old jalousie windows and most of them weren't working (can't open) and sliding doors off tracks a lot and few wheels (?) were broken. So we decided to change all windows and sliding doors. We had estimate and explanation of the windows. The guy even brought sample window parts to show and explain. Looked very sturdy and we liked that it has coating to cut UV-rays. It took about 6month to get it because it's made in mainland and because of pandemic. Very very long wait but no one can do anything about pandemic so only thing we could do was wait. Installation took 3 days for our 2 story house to replace all windows and 2 sliding doors. Installers were fully vaccinated and they were good. Not perfect but good. After installing they vacuum, swept, and spot clean the carpet if there was stain. They were late few times but worked non-stop while installing so overall they were good. Customer service was good too. There was a minor problem after installing but someone came over and fixed it. It took few weeks for the person to come over but everything is good now so we are happy.

Our window project is finished! Mario really came through and expedited the reorder of our windows as well as giving us exceptional service on the final install. Mario kept in touch along the way which was most appreciated. Having the windows and glass sliding doors has totally transformed our house. We still have another floor of windows to replace and we will definitely get them from Windows Hawaii. Many thanks to Jenhre, Raydon and the others that worked here- they did a terrific job!

Windows installed October 2023, it's FEBRUARY 23rd, 2024 and I'M still WAITING. Windows Hawaii has not contacted me to rectify their poor workmanship. I don't think they would be happy if their windows came out this way. Very poor customer service.

And so the saga of our home renovation continues. The biggest project to date are the windows. They aren't cheap, in fact, they're very expensive, for a good reason. Windows, like your roof, protect your house from the heat and rain. Those are two areas I believe you don't skimp on. Having good quality windows, not the ones from the big box retailers, are the only way to go. Double, gas filled glass and top quality hardware for your windows will protect your most expensive investment, your home. The gas in the windows also deflects and protects your house from harmful UV rays and heat. It's also much quieter. But if you decide on replacing your windows, make sure you give Windows Hawaii a call. That said, just be prepared to wait. With the ongoing supply chain issue affecting many businesses, it will likely be a long time. Thus, even the factory is behind schedule. We waited almost nine months for ours, but it was well worth the wait. Once you have a schedule, it goes pretty fast. First of all, you would call for an estimate. We got Palani as our point of contact and estimator. He came out and spent a couple hours going over all the details, answering any questions we had, showed us some samples of the glass and did the initial measurements. He also gave us a price on the spot. So we decided to go with Windows Hawaii after getting other estimates, not because they were the cheapest, because they weren't, but because of the impression we got from day one. After deciding to give the go ahead, the next person who came out was Kurt, he will do the final measurements before the actual order goes in. After that, you just sit tight and wait till your windows come in. Once they arrive on island, you will be contacted to schedule an install date. We were assigned an installation date and were told to expect at least four days for completion. It actually took five days. We got Jhenre and his crew, Nate and Ralph. These guys worked really hard and they also are very conscientious of their craft and were very respectful of us. I liked that, we had a really good working relationship with them and they were more than happy to answer the many questions we had. It can get pretty nerve wracking to see huge holes in your walls!! They were also very neat and clean! I went outside in the yard one day after they had finished for the day and they were actually dragging a big magnet over my lawn to make sure all nails and screws were picked up. I've never had ANY contractor do that before. They also vacuumed the grass of as much sawdust as they could. Very impressive. Our wooden floors were always covered before they started every morning and vacuumed at the end of the day. I was also impressed by their delivery and waste removal on a daily basis. Jordan picked up the previous day's waste every morning and dropped off whatever components the crew needed for that day. I never had to deal with a big pile of waste sitting out front and that made me really happy. On the last day, which happened to be a Sunday, they stayed late to make sure everything was completed and we were satisfied with the job, now that is dedication! We were so satisfied that we had Palani come out the next week to get phase 2 of the window replacement started. It is a smaller phase, but I have complete trust in it being done right and in a timely manner. Also, I'd like to thank Amanda in the office who coordinated with me on the construction schedule and for being the point of contact there. BTW, I also requested that Jhenre and his crew be scheduled to do phase 2, and I'd even wait for them exclusively if they are busy at another install. Thank you Windows Hawaii, we are very happy with the finished product! Five Stars * * * * *

Do your Ali’i Extreme Windows qualify for the federal tax credit for windows and doors? I have asked this question before but never received an answer. I have checked your supplier’s (Anlin) website and they have a number of models that qualify.

I've having hard time to open/close the door after the rain…read more Tyler replied quickly for the quote request. It was reasonable price & he scheduled the service immediately. He came on time & tried to find out low cost yet efficient way to fix, so I can save money. He fixed the issue & offered me less than half price of the quote. Very honest man. I highly recommend & will hire him again for another project.

Sorry but it's a long but worthwhile review. I really don't like giving bad reviews since it can…read morereally affect a business. But I felt I needed to in this case. I called Anytime Handyman to come out and replace 2 damaged doors and install 2 new doors. I sent a text message to let Tyler letting him know my lock box number since it's a rental and no one will be there to let him in. I gave explicit instructions as to which doors needed to replaced. (it was obvious because of the visible damages). He sent me the estimate, I agreed and paid for the doors so he could order it. They went back to the rental, and installed the new doors as planned. Here's the prolblem, they took off the wrong door (not damaged) and put the new door on. Leaving the damaged door still damaged. That's not the end of it, the latch was not installed properly, it had a hole and crack. As for the other door that they installed, there was also a problem, the strike plate and latch were off centered and wasn't closing properly. I called Tyler to tell him the wrong door was removed and replaced, and sent him a snap shot of the text I sent him when he went out for the estimate, explaining which doors needed to be replaced. His answer was, that's not how he interpreted it. Everything seemed to be wrong with the job. From the wrong door being replaced, to the damages to the door and the other door's latch not closing properly. He said not to worry and it's normal it's not a problem, just let him do his job. Now I'm no handyman but I do know how to install a lockset, and I've never seen a hole of that size, nor did I ever see a strike plate and latch installed at an angle. In Tyler's defense, he did say if I'm not happy he would give me a new door. But at this point, my trust with their quality of work has diminished. Not even a new door would make me continue to do business with them. I will take that loss, and stop all remaining repairs with this company. Update: I read the business owner's responses to my review. First of all, the "so called Painter's" was my daughter and son in law who came over the weekend to help paint the doors, only to find the damaged doors and discrepancies on the other door as well, including the wrong door that was removed. I would have no reason to damage these doors that I had already paid in Full upon completion on Weds. Lastly, it speaks volumes when a business owner would illegally break a homeowner's right of privacy and send photos to anyone requesting it, without prior authorization. I stand by my review.
