I've been working with Mara to get a couple of large glass sliders replaced and she has been absolutely fantastic to deal with. Always helpful, organized and professional, but so friendly with it. 100% customer service at all times. I had a quote a few years ago for this job but didn't go ahead with it on the property I manage. Once I contacted them again they pulled up the previous quote, obtained new pricing from the manufacturer/shipping, and have arranged to come out and remeasure to ensure it is a perfect fit. I'm impressed, so many companies are hard to track down and keep the momentum going on Maui, but Mara has the operation running like a well oiled machine. Even with fire complications making it hard for them from the recent disaster. Really appreciate them for everything. Sliding window has been broken for years and after one of those tropical storms we decided to fix it. I called two companies to come out for an estimate, the other company was stuck up. They clearly did not want my business and imo, if they were gonna be that rude, just change your business to say commercial accounts only... Anyways, Rainbow Glass was much more accommodating. Everyone was professional, courteous, timely and they got the job done. We hired Rainbow Glass to replace all of the sliding doors and screens in our Kapalua condo. Gabe and his team completed the project today and we can't be more pleased. The windows look awesome and will provide better insulation for our unit. We completely enjoyed working with Gabe. Rainbow Glass & Mirror has installed a shower glass wall for a walk-in shower and a glass door for a tub/shower. They are beautiful and meticulously installed. They also installed all new sliding glass doors and louvered glass windows at our Kapalua Villas condo. Once the doors are closed, I can hardly hear the gusty trade wind. Mara at the office is always cheerful and is ready to help. Gabe is a hands-on owner and comes to take the measurements himself and oversees the installations. read more

I noticed some one was installing a shower door in the condo below ours while we were on island. We were having a problem with our shower door and I stopped to ask him who the company was. He said Rainbow Glass and he would be happy to run up and to take a look. He came up, dx the issue and had me schedule within a few days. (It needed a fairly intensive fix and required more time than he had that day.) They arrived on day scheduled, fixed the door and all is ready for our next guest! The did an excellent job on the original install. They also performed very well when a hinge recently failed (manufacturer defect) a year after install. I am not happy about being the first one who leaves a comment about Rainbow glass and Mirror especially a bad one, however I definitely would like to put it out there what kind of business they do. I tried to get an estimate on a shower glass wall, called them, talked to Steve and he was nice on the phone, told me to email him my information about the job and told me he will get back to me in a few days. I e-mailed him as he requested it. He didn't call me or respond to my e-mail so I called him back. He didn't have time to give me an estimate and gave me the website address to check out the type of glass (by the way that website doesn't exist). It has been about three weeks ago now that I first talked to him and still haven't heard anything back. Not a good customer service and definitely not good for business!! read more

Gabe was excellent and went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us attach the light through the mirror he installed above our bathroom sink. (and the mirror looks great). He also explained why the mirror another company installed outside is deteriorating, and what they do to try to prevent that. Will definitely use Rainbow next glass/mirror project. read more

After more than a month, we gave up on getting Rainbow Glass and Mirror to respond to our call for help in repairing our sliding door. We are off-island owners who rent our condo to vacationers. We were booked solid in April but had an opening, which we provided to Rainbow, along with their entry code to do the work. This after their call to inquire when they could do the job. They were a no-show and didn't bother to let us know the date/time we provided was not acceptable to them. We figure they see their business as something other than repair. read more

They were understandably closed for the New Year's weekend but texted me back to tell me when they'd be in the office to help me with the sliding glass door for my vacation rental condo. Sure enough, I got a phone call from Kylie, they sent someone out that same day and fixed the door, all for about 1/3 of the price quoted from a different glass company.
