We live in So. Cal. and have a rental property in San Ramon that was recently vacated. We were only able to visit the property for one week to work on it and get repairs made. I called Craig and left a vmail asking for a time when he could come to my house to repair two patio door screens. He called back within an hour and let me know that his mobile (house call) business was booked until August 18, but if I brought the screen doors to his place of business he could repair them that same day. Well, that was an easy decision. I dropped the doors off the following morning and Craig had them repaired by the late afternoon. Craig built three screen doors for our 1950's ranch house -- each door was a slightly different size and shape, and none of them were true or square, so we couldn't buy off-the-rack screens and replace them ourselves. I forgot....Craig put in a dog door in my oversized screen door! Very very nice. I have spent more money buying different dog doors that "fit" in the space between the frame and the screen door, or the kind you sorta need a handyman to install and afterwards the dog looks at you like "serious? you want me to go through that cheesy thing?" Craig and Courtney fixed our patio screen door in one house and made us a brand new patio screen door in another house. I love the quality of the screen, such a fine mesh it's almost as clear as the glass door next to it. They also re screened a large window, and even attached little thingamabobs so I could easily lift out the screen for washing the window. There's a trick to getting big screens exactly right so the frame doesn't bulge or bow, and they are masters at getting them perfect. Not only that, they can sometimes come on the same day you call, and they come ON TIME, work fast, and pick up after themselves. And they are fun and friendly besides. Can't be beat. read more

Thank you Craig! We moved into our new house about a year ago and the screens in the master bedroom were all jacked up. They are a very tall and skinny screen so they are tricky to fix but Craig was able to figure out a support system within the screen so now they stay in place. Craig did a great job on our screens, both large sliding door and window. One side of one of the window frames needed to be replaced, and he did it beautifully in one day (took it to his shop in the morning and had it back in the afternoon). I called Craig yesterday, he said come on by today. I dropped off a screen door and a window screen at his house in Danville. Came back in about an hour and they both were all fixed up with new screens. I got the heavy duty "dog resistant" material for the screen door. $100 out the door for both, no hassle and it all looks good. Craig seems like a an interesting dude- and also a straight shooter. Would give 6 stars if I could. I needed a screen replaced in a patio door, Craig came on time and had it looking good as new in under 15 mins.
