Even after moving out of state, I still make it a point to come back for lessons with him whenever I'm in town. He's that good. The facility itself is immaculate and cutting edge. The simulators are top-of-the-line and make practicing both fun and incredibly realistic. We booked a surf lesson at 2PM, but due to some timing issues had to move it to 3PM which the team was more than helpful in accommodating. It's hard to believe it can be as cold as the high 20s outside and you're inside catching waves on the FlowRider. The pool area is well heated and the water was warm. There are plenty of grandstands for people to sit and spectate. They have lockers to hold / secure your stuff while you catch waves. They have bathrooms for changing, and showers to clean up after (the only thing I wish they had was more areas in the bathrooms to hang or set your stuff down while you shower or change. Even a small foldaway table would have been helpful). Our lesson was essentially a 60 minute private since my wife and I were the only two in the session. Our instructor John was super friendly, helpful, and informative. He gave us a quick overview and had us riding waves within the first few runs, and if you wiped out (which is pretty painless and fun) he'd have some pointers for you for your next run. We each would do 3-4 runs and then trade off and as long as we had the energy John was at the ready to help catch waves. This was a total five star experience, and I can't wait to do it again! It looks like they also have GA type session where you pay the hourly fee and it's open to the public for everyone to use in turn. However, I'd highly recommend a lesson if it's your first time out. You can also rent either half or whole of the FlowRider by the hour should you have a private event or just want to hone your skills.

Instead of helping or apologizing mid-crisis, a male employee knelt down and told her, "This is why we don't run," while she was crying and bleeding. Completely insensitive and unprofessional. If running isn't allowed, there should be signs or better supervision. An exposed zip tie in a kids' play area is absolutely unacceptable. Plus, what would you expect?? If it's a KID playground, there should be at least one employee or attendant nearby watching them if running wants to be avoided.

There is a 2 and under tent with a smaller slide and ball pen. It's a little difficult for the parents to stand in there so beware. There were a few large climbing areas with faster slides and a sledding area. Some bouncy areas. A larger ball pit to the one side. A castle to go up and explore. A few mini zip lines and a soccer field area. There was a game area near the larger ball pit but it appeared none of the electronics were working. There was a spot to shoot the balls but none of us could get it to work. In the top right side there was a toddler sized section for pretend play as well as a trampoline with a barrier and a hamster wheel. The negative is on the pretend city side. While those items were great with the pretend fashion, market, and fire truck, there was a round swing type thing where multiple kids could get in and go around in circles. This was not placed in an ideal location as I saw a few kids get kicked in the head or side and my toddler was also bowled over. It was tough to maneuver as it went right up to the pretend fire truck. Overall it was nice and new. And not their fault but a lot of coughing sick kids. Mine definitely caught a cold from there a few days later.

They have six pickleball courts that are always in fantastic condition. They also have a couple of tennis courts. The playground itself is super fun. My kids (3, 5, and 8) love climbing on all the different ropes and apparatuses and such as. They also have the little zipline things that you can sit on. Definitely a hit for youngsters and adults alike. In the summer they even have shave ice available for purchase. The Murdock Canal Trail goes right next to the park so you can go on a bike ride or walk right up to the park.

The toddler area is fun for older toddlers but there's not a lot of space for little to crawl outside the ballpit, because there's a ton of adults watching their babies. There's also a lot of older kids that enter and start jumping into the ball pit, which makes me worry about somebody getting hurt. If the space was bigger and it was more clear that it was only for little, it would be better. It's generally clean but compared to the one in Spanish fork it doesn't seem as well maintained. I definitely think this is a great spot for 6 years +. Anybody who has kids lower in age should expect to have to go in and follow their kid around.

It's in a beautiful location, higher up on the hill and provides you with some breathtaking views. We love how well kept the courts are and it doesn't seem to be as busy as some of the other ones in the valley (cough cough steer clear of the courts in Murray). Plenty of parking, plenty of open grass to run and play in, and it's right off Bangerter Highway--if you keep driving the windy road, you'll end up in Highland/Lehi area and that's beautiful too. I haven't seen any drinking fountains near the courts, but that's not to say they're not near the pavilions or park equipment--but I'd rather be safe than sorry and pack some extra water bottles. All in all, one of my new favorite areas. I can't wait to pack a picnic and return again soon! TIPS & TRICKS: * Lots of shade and benches, but you still don't want to forget sunscreen. * Because of the location, it's much more windy than normal, so be prepared to run a little harder!
