My youngest son really wanted to play mini golf while in Salt Lake City, and it was such a beautiful day it would be an injustice to play at an indoors location. We found Mulligans on Yelp and all agreed this place looked like our best option. After paying $8/ea, the employees working indoors directed us to the ball bag and putters and then we were off. There's two courses, a lighthouse and a haunted house course. They didn't look much different but we chose the haunted house. The scariest part of the haunted house course was trying to retrieve my wife's golf ball when it didn't come out of the pipe...who knows what critters were in there. The course was in good shape...smooth turf, no obvious damage to the unique features, etc. The plants, trees, flowers and other ambiance surrounding the course was also well manicured. The holes were interesting enough with a good mix of skill and luck. Mulligans also offers two short golf courses on the property (both 9 holes), a driving range and batting cages. The driving range looked like it had a lot of spaces and even a double-decker section to shade you from the sun (couldn't tell if it was open or not). My review is simply for the mini golf experience as we didn't try anything else, but it's always nice to see golf places for all levels of players...my kids would have loved to play a 9-hole course if we brought our clubs. read more

What a fun spot to try something a little different with your friends other than go out to eat or drink. I don't think it was a Monday night special, we were able to play both mini golf courses for $8/person. Some of the holes were super challenging and I could see myself coming back again to try it. It seemed like they were actively working on some of the obstacles so, it will probably change and improve over time. This is a great low stakes outdoor activity for people that want to get a little sunshine with little effort. I only have 2 very minor complains. The first is that the food stand wasn't open when we went there around 2pm on a Monday, but no worries, there was lots of food in the area. We ended up getting food nearby and coming back to finish our game. There's tons of picnic tables around, so they're probably cool with people packing a picnic. We will probably just plan on doing that in the future. Also, when we first showed up, there were TONS of kids, which was a little annoying. They were climbing all over the features and they were impatient with the groups ahead of them on the course. When we came back from grabbing food, around 5, it was way quieter. So my advice if you want to avoid the kids is to come around dinner time or maybe first thing in the morning. We think we accidentally showed up when kids had just gotten let out of school. I could see this place being super busy on the weekends. We will totally come back when we're looking for a cheap activity with friends. Showed up on a Monday night at 8:45, they close at 10. Sign on the door says they quit selling tickets for the mini golf 45 minutes before they close which we read online so we made sure we were there plenty early. The other sections of the place were pretty busy but didn't see anyone on mini golf. Walked in and were told that mini golf was too backed up and that they wanted to get everyone through before closing....on a Monday night? I hadn't been to Mulligan's for a couple of years and so I decided to drive up from Utah County (30 minute drive for me) I pulled in and as I was walking up I saw a girl picking up some buckets and asked kind of puzzled " are you guys closing soon?" She said "it should be open, there's a girl inside." I stood inside waiting for a short time waiting for the girl (she was around the corner by the bathroom and didn't notice me for a second. She then walked closer and asked what I needed. I replied "just a bucket of balls." She says "oh, we just stopped selling balls a few minutes ago." I said "really" I then politely asked if then I could just do a small bucket in the circumstances of having made the longer drive. Her next reply is "we need to make sure we shut the gate at 7 PM." (There's still about 40 minutes.) I then said that would be no problem with a small bucket, and since I just made the drive. She just said oh "I'm so sorry I just can't." I said "you really can't? " ". Her next reply was "I get it because I live in Utah county, but the machines won't sell balls anymore as well." (Felt very disingenuous with different excuses of just wanting to get out of there) BTW, There's a plethora of people hitting balls that would add up to being larger than a small bucket. This is piss poor service from whoever this employee is. I grew up, loving this place when Jimmy Blair owned it and I've spent many hours and money at this place even when South Jordan purchased it. Not to mention rallying to keep it in business years ago when South Jordan city was considering getting rid of it. Pretty disheartening and ridiculous to be told. "I'm sorry, but we stopped selling balls a few minutes ago." Too bad I hit that one last stoplight and took a couple minutes to get my clubs out and shoes on before I stepped inside, because that's the timer for selling golf balls at Mulligan's. What a joke! So glad this place exists! Have been coming to mini golf here since it opened. There are two different 18 hole themes to choose from, the Haunted or Lighthouse. It's a good place to have fun with the family. Also have batting cages, driving range and snacks. The golf course has a par 3 and executive course. I like that you don't get paired up with another couple if there's just two of you playing like they do at other courses. The courses could be better maintained most definitely but nice to get in a quick game. read more

I was at a nearby golf course eager to hit some balls. The range is closed until March 1 and the course opens tomorrow, February 18. Checking Yelp app I found Mulligan's down the road. It's friggen cold out at 40 degrees. I walked into the shop and a young man held the door open for me and smiled. He's one of the employees. I roll up to the register and was immediately greeted by another young person who helped me pay for a large bucket of balls. 120 balls for $10! They have heated tee boxes! I mentioned it's cold... so nice! Thank you for the great forethought. Inside the clubhouse there is a restaurant that serves burgers and fries. They have bottled and fountain soda machine. Bottled water and an assortment of energy drinks. I like this place. Courteous and helpful staff and clean bathrooms. There are batting cages and putt putt golf. Nice date spot. I wouldn't consider myself an avid golfer (mini or regular), but I won't turn away an opportunity to have some fun. So after dinner, my wife and I hit up Mulligans for a round of mini golf. We had been here previously for the batting cages, but the course was new territory for us. The price isn't too bad-$7.50 per person. It wasn't until after we were done that we realized there were two courses and we could have paid to play them both. But by then, the line was pretty long, so we opted not to return to the cashier to pay for the second course and made note to try it another time. As we entered the course, there was a sign warning us of aggressive birds. My wife's biggest fear in life is birds-aggressive or not. So this was an added twist to the adventure. Her eyes were on the lookout for angry birds all night-luckily, we never saw any. We were also a little confused at the beginning-the holes were not marked, and since we didn't know there was more than one course, we hesitated to get started. Another couple went ahead, and we followed them. Once we started the game, it was very obvious where to go, but the beginning can be tricky-especially if you missed the memo that there are two courses. The course itself is absolutely beautiful. It appears to have been designed by someone who knows what they are doing, not an afterthought like so many other mini golf courses. You get your moneys worth. I would say maybe don't go with a super big group since its pretty small in some places.

This is a good mini golf course (2 available to choose from). There are some literal wrinkles in some of the greens but it didn't deter the fun. Plenty of trees for shade. Benches where and there to rest on. I suggest bringing bottled water in the summer months. During the pandemic they do have separated cleaned clubs and balls from used so be sure you kid grab equipment from the right area- it's clearly marked. I really enjoyed myself miniature golfing. The facades are appealing and the course well kept. If I were to offer suggestions, they would be on tie obstacles where there are options to hit in lady right or middle that the middle option rolls out closest to the hole. There were 2 of these where none of the 3 options rolled down the chute closest to the hole. Also, the cup should be level. I understand obstacles and the fun bit the actual green with the cop should be level. Lastly, the last hole normally has some sort of reward for hitting in the middle like fire or smoke or a laugh or something to reward the golfer. This offered nothing. read more

My family had a great time at Mulligans. We played both mini-golf courses and everyone enjoyed themselves. The highlight of our round was my not-even-two year old daughter scoring her first hole-in-one ON HER FIRST HOLE OF PUTT PUTT EVER! Are you serious, golf gods?? Why do you torture me so?!? Totally will happily give this place 5 stars! If you want to come for an easy and chill, fun and fabulous night, consider Mulligans. We played a round of mini golf as well as 9 holes of real golf and everything was so cheap! The par 3 course we played wraps around the driving range, so you just need to watch for flying balls and learn to live a little on the edge and the greens weren't incredibly well kept. But it was still an awesome night and we loved every minute of it. Not only do they offer golf, but soccer golf, batting cages, and a little bit of food is available as well. If you didn't bring your own clubs, you can rent some and buy balls for super cheap as well. Overall, the best night ever. You don't have to have a perfectly manicured green to still get a few birdies either ;) TIPS & TRICKS: * There are two different miniature golf courses, play one for $7 or both for $10. Easy to check in and prices seemed reasonable. The greens are pretty standard and mostly in good order; they're tricky to get on the first try. This review is for mini golf. MAJOR FAN. Probably the best mini golf course(s) in UT! First off, it's beautiful. It's very well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. Second off, the holes are challenging and fun! I could probably do without so many raised holes, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Third off, the price is very reasonable. We golfed both of the 18 hole courses, which took us about 1.5 hours. It only costed 10 dollars/person to do both! There are a couple things that could be better, but they aren't enough to lower my 5 star rating. 1. The holes weren't marked. This wasn't a problem since it was very clear which hole was next, but it would have been nice to have markings. 2. There weren't any hard surfaces to write scores on. it would have been nice to have clipboards or something else to use instead of our legs! Overall, very nice mini golf course! Mulligans is a great spot for a night out with family or friends. There are two miniature golf courses (Lighthouse and Haunted House), both of which are in pretty good condition and are in my favorites in the Salt Lake Valley (I'm a BIG mini-golf guy). Mulligans also has batting cages with baseball and softball options of different speeds. I'll admit, the equipment isn't state of the art--the baseball bats are getting older, the mini-golf putters have some wear, and the range balls aren't brand new--but it also isn't miserably bad either, everything works like it should, and the activities are fun. On top of those activities, Mulligans houses a top-notch driving range with dozens of stalls both on grass and turf. You can use this range year-long because of the covered, heated hitting deck, which is a huge win for golfers in Utah. Mulligans has a 9-hole executive golf course and a 9-hole par-3 course. I haven't tried the foot-golf course at Mulligans, but I've heard it's pretty fun. Though it can get busy on weekends, I love the family-friendly vibe it has, and the maintenance team keeps it clean and in pretty good shape. I would 100% recommend this place! read more

We come here a lot to go mini golfing a lot. There are a lot of snacks and drinks to choose from so you can be refreshed while you are hitting balls or mini golfing. The service is good because they don't charge that much money to play mini golf or hit balls. The lines for mini golf can get pretty long during the afternoon, so I would recommend coming during the morning or late afternoon. If you want to play both courses, you have to pay 2 dollars extra per person, but both courses are great! The mood can be pretty crazy on certain days, but we usually don't have to wait for someone else in front of us to finish. Highly recommended for mini golf and golfing on the course. read more

Highly disappointed with my last visit here. They used to have decent bats, but this time there were only two softball bats. One didn't even have grip (super dangerous), and the other was absolute crap and left my hands wringing after every hit. Machines were unreliable and either pitched wayyy too high, or hit the net and came in at your feet. Attendants were low to adjust machines, and left a line of people waiting. Attendant said it would take another 2 months to get bats. What?! For as much money as a place like this charges, they should be able to have half decent bats. read more

Mulligans offers two 18 hole mini golf courses with unique themes. My husband and I visited on a lunch time around noon. It wasn't too busy, at least on the mini golf side. The courses were fun. For only an additional $6 we were able to play both courses. We finished each in just about two hours. I can imagine it gets quite busy here during the summer. The location was good, just off the interstate outside of Salt Lake City. Mulligans - as you can imagine based on the name, offers a golf course, batting cage and driving range. So if mini golf isn't your thing and you prefer to swing your own clubs on the course, you have that option. The facility is clean and staff are friendly. If I could give ZERO stars, that's what my experience deserves. Consistently broken range ball machines. Credit card scanner not working on either ball dispenser led me to go inside to pay using my phone. Young 18 year old David, the manager figure head refused to resolve the situation. "We are getting new upgraded equipment soon". Up until this moment, I visited the range 3-4x per week. Often meeting friends for a range session. No longer a customer. Hit the driving range. I was one of the last people there. Hit a poor last ball and walked out 5 steps to get my ball to re-hit my last shot before leaving. The jack ass older employee Ty Pierce got in my face like he wanted to fight. Accusing me of walking out and hitting balls on the grass which wasn't true. After reading others reviews on here, it seems like this Ty character is unhinged and treats everyone poorly. Groundskeeper Willie is going to invade the wrong persons space at some point and get smacked. It's a bad look for South Jordan to have a manager that is constantly such a jerk to customers. The matts are beat to crap anyways and the balls don't fly and are covered in mud. Joke of an experience. I'm sure Mulligans doesn't care about this review and won't make it right but just an awful experience with a miserable employee. read more

I called in for the driving range... they told me they close at 6:15... I get there at 6 and the machines are down. I go inside and the kid had told me "idk this guy wants to leave early." I go and talk to the old man and he had told me that they close at 6?? Idk he wouldn't even let me hit ONE of my own balls. Very disappointed in the service and the attitude of this man. Not ONE ball is crazy. This old man just wanted to leave early and wouldn't take my services. What BS. Then I go and try and hit just 1 of my OWN balls. And he wouldn't allow it. This old man was arrogant and stubborn. I've gone here many times and gotten balls before 6:15. How can you hire a manager who just wants to leave before his shift?? We've gone before and had a good time. However, this last week we tried to go around 6:30 after work and we were turned away. We knew they were closing at 7 but thought we'd hit a couple of balls. Great place to get in some practice and a great starting place for golfers. Due to the nature of the venue there is a high traffic of people coming and going. This does take a toll on the facilities but the management does a great job with the upkeep. read more
