Walked to hole 1 using the path they had me use the last time I was there (there's ALWAYS construction), and right before I was about to swing, some worker comes up in a golf cart telling me "I saw you cutting the course and unless you pay a second time you'll have to leave," showing that they're just money grabbers. The course fee is only $12 but out of principle I wasn't going to pay a second time. Ridiculous. It's sad because I used to tell people about this course as an inexpensive way to get a quick round in, but I'll never be back. read more

It's amazing how one bad experience can put a whole bad taste in your mouth. I was at the driving range practicing my driver with my head phones in and an off duty employee felt the need to come over and tell me that I can't tee up on the grass. Yes granted I get it, people shank it and I could get hit but that's my prerogative. He ruined what was a relaxing golf practice and made it sour I ended up just leaving multiple practice balls behind because I didn't wanna hit near him. Driving range is always closed for a different reason every time I go. There is always an excuse for why it is closed but it will be open next week. It never is. The course is also horribly kept. Something is always under construction. Bugs will eat you alive. Just pay a little extra and go play on an actual course. read more

I love this course but one of the hired staff members(I didn't catch her name) definitely should not be working the course. I had a tee time book and due to a tight schedule I was 2 minutes late for my tee time. While checking in she proceeded to explain to me like I was 5 that because I was late they sent another group out and she denied me any other tee time. Because it was late in the day already I understood the circumstance but her attitude was insult to injury. The guy working with her was nice enough, however, it is not worth the time to deal with such poorly trained staff. Go to Hobble if you're looking to golf. read more

First timer alert! I had never golfed before, and went with my dad (who has golfed for decades) and gave it a go. We played seven holes (I read that there were supposed to be nine, but we only saw seven). My dad told me that the course was a good beginner one and we would be able to do a quick round for practice. We rented a cart, which made it nice to not have to carry our heavy bags. I did notice that the grass had lots of flaws in it-maybe that's normal for a golf course, but it seemed to be pretty tore up in some areas. There was also a lack of signage on some of the holes. It looked like there was supposed to be a sign, but some of it had worn off or was missing. Overall, it was a good beginner/practice course. But I could tell by the feedback from my experienced golfer dad that this may not have been his favorite course. read more

Worst course ever. Absolutely no class here, the back 9 is the worst 9 in all of Utah, the driving range is trash, the practice greens feel like putting in a bunker. I had an experience where some young kids were playing around on the golf range taking shots in all types of directions, some of there balls nearly hit me while I was on the putting greens behind the range. I notified the clubhouse about it and they didn't do jack. No idea how they're still in business. Would not recommend going here. read more

I have played this course at least once a week for a good year now. I have embraced the challenges that came with the renovations and changes even when the grass and greens were really rough condition. I've even really appreciated when I show up with no tee time as a single or double and they're are able to squeeze us in. I've even had times when I've been told it would be 2-3 hours before they could get me on and the Pro makes an exception and puts me on as in single within 10 minutes anyway. My reason for a one star is because of a recent experience with one of their policies. I have a friend who is new to golf wanting to try golf so me and another sub-bogey golfer set up a tee time to play a scramble. My friend didn't have his own clubs and I have a hard time lying so when they asked if we all had our own clubs I said no. Their policy said that everyone has to have their own clubs for concerns of pace of play. We let them know we were playing a scramble and two of us are really fast. We were there for an hour already hitting a bucket and not a single person had teed off the back nine so it wasn't busy at all. They were still not willing to make an exception. What made things worse was they offered to let us play the par 3 course following a couple with 4 kids no older than 10. We waited for 25 minutes for them to finish the first hole then decided to refund our money and leave. I want to go back and play more but I feel like after not giving us a little wiggle room for my friend and his first time wanting to try golf, and then putting us behind a really slow group despite the back 9 being completely open, we felt a little disappointed and upset with the course. If things don't get made right I'll just keep going to Sleepy Ridge from now on. read more

I've been here a few times and nothing ever changes. Not sure why anyone would golf here when Sleepy Ridge in Orem exists, with a similar price range. The people in the club house are extremely rude and seem to not want to be there. They also don't take care of their course, it's always filthy. If I was just going to rate the quality of the course east bay would get two stars. The reason I give it three stars is because it is a great place to practice. They have 3 large putting greens. (2 can be used for chipping and one has a bunker.) They also have a 7-hole executive course that is a great place to work on your wedges. The driving range is quite large with many places to hit to. I love to come and practice here but if I want to play 9 I think anywhere else in the valley is a better bet and will cost you about the same amount of money. read more

This course is not expensive by any means but compared to other courses in the area its value is awful. The course is in pretty horrendous condition but they still charge a higher rate then sleepy ridge or even hobble creek which is a much prettier and well maintained course. They also enforce strict rules on certain things, which typically I don't mind for nicer courses but once again this is not a nice course. Do yourself a favor and play a different course. read more

Are you a little short on money but would still like to golf? This place is for you. Not the most beautiful course in the land and definitely not the most well maintained. But 100% great price to play nine holes and maybe hit some geese in the process. And if you don't hit them you will definitely step in their poopies. This was my introduction to golf and I really do think it is a great place for beginners to go... despite all the water hazards. It is just a place to kind of figure out if golfing is for you and not spend too much on carts, clubs, and nine hole. Great place to drink and golf... but don't drink and drive that is illegal and I hate when people do it. Laid back place, the course marshall doesn't really say anything to you except good ole day stories. The dress code is pretty relaxed. It really is the place to find out if golf is for you. THE VERDICT: Save money. Have fun. Play responsibly. Or don't. It is really up to you I'm not your conscience but what I do know is that this place is a great starter course and I don't know how many times I can reiterate that. Make sure to check all google reviews before booking here. This place has more mud than grass on the fairway. I thought I was an anomaly having such a bad experience with the staff, but seems like plenty of reviews say otherwise. The range is also a huge mud pit with no markers. The river of my disappointment with this course runs deep and strong. I have never been to a course as inconsistent as this one. Aside from their regular remodeling, (which I am sympathetic to) their driving range hours are nearly impossible to nail down. I have been turned away a dozen times for a dozen reasons. Indeed, it's as though they don't want my money, and so, I will not spend another dime at this course. I would highly recommend, if you can spare the extra gas money, that you golf somewhere else. You'll have a better experience. You'll lose less balls. And you'll be turned away for closures less often. read more

Going to be a very unique course for Utah. I've played Kiawah and Pinehurst #2. They will be very similar with waste areas and native grass throughout. Not for every golfer. It's pretty difficult. Terrible conditions and still charging full price. I play here majority of the time cause it's in my city and each time I go I'm more disappointed. They stack up people which creates a terrible pace of play every round. Last time I played they made me wait 15 min over my tee time so a group of 4 making the turn could play through.... they were started on the back. I also continually get paired up every time with random people when I have a tee time. There's hardly any cart paths or walking paths. The make shift tee boxes are dead and hard. Try putting a tee in concrete. The fairways are about 60% nice and cut but the rest are garbage. The manager/pro is very rude. Time to play somewhere else. read more

I have been playing east bay for 20 years. They have done a great job of keeping up with the times. The greens are always firm and fast and make sure not to hook your ball. Every hole has water on the left. There are a few blind tee shots but nothing horrible. Overall it's a fair test and reasonably priced. They have a grill which makes it easy for refreshments on a hot day. I recommend this course for all skill levels. Take your ball retriever for water balls and enjoy your time out of doors. read more

Easy bay golf course has got to be one of the worst golf courses right now they are doing construction in half of the holes, so you start on hole ten (which isn't a huge deal because they have you pay for 9 holes) but the issue is that they are also doing construction on the holes you are golfing on as well. So there are skid steers and bobcats everywhere. There were some guys working with some trucks right in the middle of the fairway. The greens were over watered so the balls didn't roll at all. And The fairways are very skinny and they pack a lot of golfers in the small area so it was very crowded and balls were coming from every direction. Going to try again when construction is done, but for now I recommend going anywhere else. read more

I've played this course hundred + rounds over the past 15 years. 18 holes with a cart is around $40. A 9 hole executive course is also available. Lots of water holes on this course. I would say the the length is moderate from the blue tees and lengthy from the black tees compared to most public courses. Pros * value * the grill makes a mean ham and cheese Cons * walk on is tuff unless your going mid week mid day * I don't think I have ever finished 9 holes in under 2 hours * lots of geese stop and hang out on the course because of all the water - goose turds every where read more
