It's amazing how one bad experience can put a whole bad taste in your mouth. I was at the driving range practicing my driver with my head phones in and an off duty employee felt the need to come over and tell me that I can't tee up on the grass. Yes granted I get it, people shank it and I could get hit but that's my prerogative. He ruined what was a relaxing golf practice and made it sour I ended up just leaving multiple practice balls behind because I didn't wanna hit near him. So for anyone that comes here for future reference YOU CANT PRACTICE WITH YOUR DRIVER off the grass. Instead they want you to POKE A HOLE in the turf so push hard. read more

Timpanogos Golf Club - This is the employee who was rotten towards me. And the driving range. - Golf Near Me - Provo, Utah

Sorely disappointed by this Par 3 golf course! It's poorly maintained and the signage is absolutely a joke! While I realize it's a municipal course run by the city of Provo it severely lacks in every way, shape & form. My husband reserved us a tee time for what should have been a great date night out. We love golf and it's been a hot minute since we've had a chance to go play. He reserved us to play the 9 hole Pasture course. First, the signs directed us to the right past the bridge behind the clubhouse. When the first hole was actually just to the left of the driving range. Also, I can't say how far but it was exactly but it was quite a walk and so confusing to find that first hole. The tee box if you will call it was chock full of divets. This so called tee box has no turf but appears to be regular grass? Also, some tee boxes didn't line up very well with the green. So often times trying to figure out which green / flag to aim for was confusing, Apparently filling divets or raking a bunker is not necessary or a required rule on the Pasture course from what I could tell. Over the loud speaker they told us to pair up with a young couple of 2. This is ridiculous. I wanted to spend time with my husband not with twenty something year olds. So we let them go ahead. By the 6th hole we were done. It just wasn't a pleasant place to play. We decided to hit the driving range before leaving but that was an even worse experience. It does look like they installed some new turf boxes but it was coned off and we were unable to use it. We headed out onto the grass which was also awful. People were playing in weird places. Sone out farther, sone behind the rope lines, others inside it. But regardless the grass and dirt made it completely difficult to hit a ball unless you had a tee. I'm really disappointed that my date night was ruined by such awful maintenance of a course. The views are gorgeous but this is not a place I'd return unless the City of Provo can turn this around. read more

Worst experience golfing, no fun, bad employees, course is always in some sort of disrepair. Fire the greenskeepers and make it a parking lot read more

Worst experience I've had. Course to not kept after, course people are the worst. Don't tell you that there playing backwards, then so called guy that works there comes and says we can't play the back nine because his group is. Went to the pro shop and asked what had happen, the guy then comes behind the counter while I ask they said it was a mistake while this douche bag sits there and laugh. NEVER COME TO THIS COURSE read more

Walked to hole 1 using the path they had me use the last time I was there (there's ALWAYS construction), and right before I was about to swing, some worker comes up in a golf cart telling me "I saw you cutting the course and unless you pay a second time you'll have to leave," showing that they're just money grabbers. The course fee is only $12 but out of principle I wasn't going to pay a second time. Ridiculous. It's sad because I used to tell people about this course as an inexpensive way to get a quick round in, but I'll never be back. read more

Worst golf course in Utah county by far!!! Also in the running for worst course in Utah. Charge premium pricing for low grade facilities. There are several municipal courses that could easily compete with this place that charge half the price. if you want to get eaten alive by bugs no matter where you are in the course, potentially break your golf clubs on their cement driving range or just feel like blowing 70$ for a lil swamp land golf this is the place for you!!! If you prefer to play real golf, go literally anywhere else. read more

I love this course but one of the hired staff members(I didn't catch her name) definitely should not be working the course. I had a tee time book and due to a tight schedule I was 2 minutes late for my tee time. While checking in she proceeded to explain to me like I was 5 that because I was late they sent another group out and she denied me any other tee time. Because it was late in the day already I understood the circumstance but her attitude was insult to injury. The guy working with her was nice enough, however, it is not worth the time to deal with such poorly trained staff. Go to Hobble if you're looking to golf. read more

First timer alert! I had never golfed before, and went with my dad (who has golfed for decades) and gave it a go. We played seven holes (I read that there were supposed to be nine, but we only saw seven). My dad told me that the course was a good beginner one and we would be able to do a quick round for practice. We rented a cart, which made it nice to not have to carry our heavy bags. I did notice that the grass had lots of flaws in it-maybe that's normal for a golf course, but it seemed to be pretty tore up in some areas. There was also a lack of signage on some of the holes. It looked like there was supposed to be a sign, but some of it had worn off or was missing. Overall, it was a good beginner/practice course. But I could tell by the feedback from my experienced golfer dad that this may not have been his favorite course. read more

Had fun, best round of the year for me too. Unfortunately a few of the holes are almost unplayable due to conditions in the fairways. Greens were decent on most holes. 18th hole is what ruined this place for me. You'll know when you see it. To charge just as much as everyone else in the area is absurd read more

Clubhouse booked 6 people at my exact tee time slot which was annoying and unprofessional. It's been under construction for 10 years. Golfing here is like playing plinko. It's not a well kept course by any means and they still charge premium rates. I will never golf here ever again. read more

Driving range is always closed for a different reason every time I go. There is always an excuse for why it is closed but it will be open next week. It never is. The course is also horribly kept. Something is always under construction. Bugs will eat you alive. Just pay a little extra and go play on an actual course. read more

After reading the reviews I was a a little skeptical. But after golfing 18 holes here today I had a great experience staff was friendly, course was really fun and well kept. A bit challenging for myself. Really cool views of the mountains and rivers. And the pace was good wasn't waiting or being rushed through holes. 4 stars!!! read more

Worst course ever. Absolutely no class here, the back 9 is the worst 9 in all of Utah, the driving range is trash, the practice greens feel like putting in a bunker. I had an experience where some young kids were playing around on the golf range taking shots in all types of directions, some of there balls nearly hit me while I was on the putting greens behind the range. I notified the clubhouse about it and they didn't do jack. No idea how they're still in business. Would not recommend going here. read more

I really like this course. I usually just come to the driving range but they do a good job of keeping it nice.

The par 3 course is a lot of fun but their strict no kid policy is not my favorite. Aside from that the driving range is very rough and fairway condition is usually very poor. read more

Super annoying when you show up 3 minutes late for your tee time and they had already given it to somebody else, then they tell you the next tee time isn't for another hour and half and make you leave. This course is dog water and has been forever read more

Not well maintained at all, greens were fine, fairways are like hitting off asphalt, just not the round I was looking forward to with the bros. Will not be returning read more

I have played this course at least once a week for a good year now. I have embraced the challenges that came with the renovations and changes even when the grass and greens were really rough condition. I've even really appreciated when I show up with no tee time as a single or double and they're are able to squeeze us in. I've even had times when I've been told it would be 2-3 hours before they could get me on and the Pro makes an exception and puts me on as in single within 10 minutes anyway. My reason for a one star is because of a recent experience with one of their policies. I have a friend who is new to golf wanting to try golf so me and another sub-bogey golfer set up a tee time to play a scramble. My friend didn't have his own clubs and I have a hard time lying so when they asked if we all had our own clubs I said no. Their policy said that everyone has to have their own clubs for concerns of pace of play. We let them know we were playing a scramble and two of us are really fast. We were there for an hour already hitting a bucket and not a single person had teed off the back nine so it wasn't busy at all. They were still not willing to make an exception. What made things worse was they offered to let us play the par 3 course following a couple with 4 kids no older than 10. We waited for 25 minutes for them to finish the first hole then decided to refund our money and leave. I want to go back and play more but I feel like after not giving us a little wiggle room for my friend and his first time wanting to try golf, and then putting us behind a really slow group despite the back 9 being completely open, we felt a little disappointed and upset with the course. If things don't get made right I'll just keep going to Sleepy Ridge from now on. read more

Horrible service. Played with two guys that had never played before. Two is us had assumed that one guy payed for all. Some employee came up and SWORE at us. Mind that two had never played golf before. Horrible customer service. Course is terrible. read more

Rough conditions and staff don't care about experience. I expect better service. The course looks like it needs matinence.

I've been here a few times and nothing ever changes. Not sure why anyone would golf here when Sleepy Ridge in Orem exists, with a similar price range. The people in the club house are extremely rude and seem to not want to be there. They also don't take care of their course, it's always filthy. Don't spend your money here... you're better off golfing in a garbage can. read more

My least favorite course in Utah slow service, slow pace of play every time. It's my Last resort any time I play there.

Showed up 3 min late because of family emergency. Everyone was trying to be cool, but this one blonde girl was super rude and made us cancel our tee time. Wouldn't recommend golfing here it's a pretty sub par course and the staff makes it even worse just go to sleepy ridge 10 min away. read more

This course is absolutely terrible when it comes to booking tee times.Booked for a Sunday afternoon and they had put a group of 6 kids in front of us and a group of 5. It took us almost 3 hours to play 9 holes. This is a joke read more

If I was just going to rate the quality of the course east bay would get two stars. The reason I give it three stars is because it is a great place to practice. They have 3 large putting greens. (2 can be used for chipping and one has a bunker.) They also have a 7-hole executive course that is a great place to work on your wedges. The driving range is quite large with many places to hit to. I love to come and practice here but if I want to play 9 I think anywhere else in the valley is a better bet and will cost you about the same amount of money. read more

Are you a little short on money but would still like to golf? This place is for you. Not the most beautiful course in the land and definitely not the most well maintained. But 100% great price to play nine holes and maybe hit some geese in the process. And if you don't hit them you will definitely step in their poopies. This was my introduction to golf and I really do think it is a great place for beginners to go... despite all the water hazards. It is just a place to kind of figure out if golfing is for you and not spend too much on carts, clubs, and nine hole. Great place to drink and golf... but don't drink and drive that is illegal and I hate when people do it. Laid back place, the course marshall doesn't really say anything to you except good ole day stories. The dress code is pretty relaxed. It really is the place to find out if golf is for you. THE VERDICT: Save money. Have fun. Play responsibly. Or don't. It is really up to you I'm not your conscience but what I do know is that this place is a great starter course and I don't know how many times I can reiterate that. Basically, I'm trying to say... if you've never played before don't be an ahole and go to a nice course because it ruins it for the rest of us. read more

Don't waste your money, at least for the rest of this year! Course is in awful shape, and it doesn't look like they're doing anything to improve it read more

Course is in HORRIBLE condition. Yes, I was told "some renovation going on". Yuck! More than that. A Municipal course is questionable to begin with but, these guys should be prosecuted for this. Temp tee boxes, noisy/dusty construction equipment everywhere and soil that 'mushes' underfoot. Head Pro says "What a deal! Only $2/hole" Like he's proud of it. Got news pal, your track SUCKS! This course should have chosen to CLOSE DURING CONSTRUCTION! read more

Without question the worst golf course I have ever been to. If you are thinking about playing here you're crazy. I can't even begin to describe how awful of shape this course is in. Not to mention terrible treatment from the pro shop. Lady was a complete wench. If you are planning to go here you are planning to waste two hours of your time. This should be a course where they pay you to play there due to how low quality it is. Golf is a Gentlemans game and this is a place where homeless people should live. oh also this course is 90% dirt and mud, 10% grass. if i could give this 0 stars i would. read more

This course is not expensive by any means but compared to other courses in the area its value is awful. The course is in pretty horrendous condition but they still charge a higher rate then sleepy ridge or even hobble creek which is a much prettier and well maintained course. They also enforce strict rules on certain things, which typically I don't mind for nicer courses but once again this is not a nice course. Do yourself a favor and play a different course. read more

Awful course. Don't waste your time and money. The staff is rude, the conditions are horrible, and the price is outrageous for what you get.

Make sure to check all google reviews before booking here. This place has more mud than grass on the fairway. I thought I was an anomaly having such a bad experience with the staff, but seems like plenty of reviews say otherwise. The range is also a huge mud pit with no markers. Fees should be less than half they are now until the course is reasonable after construction. read more

The river of my disappointment with this course runs deep and strong. I have never been to a course as inconsistent as this one. Aside from their regular remodeling, (which I am sympathetic to) their driving range hours are nearly impossible to nail down. I have been turned away a dozen times for a dozen reasons. Indeed, it's as though they don't want my money, and so, I will not spend another dime at this course. I would highly recommend, if you can spare the extra gas money, that you golf somewhere else. You'll have a better experience. You'll lose less balls. And you'll be turned away for closures less often. read more

I've played this course hundred + rounds over the past 15 years. 18 holes with a cart is around $40. A 9 hole executive course is also available. Lots of water holes on this course. I would say the the length is moderate from the blue tees and lengthy from the black tees compared to most public courses. Pros * value * the grill makes a mean ham and cheese Cons * walk on is tuff unless your going mid week mid day * I don't think I have ever finished 9 holes in under 2 hours * lots of geese stop and hang out on the course because of all the water - goose turds every where read more

Going to be a very unique course for Utah. I've played Kiawah and Pinehurst #2. They will be very similar with waste areas and native grass throughout. Not for every golfer. It's pretty difficult. Terrible conditions and still charging full price. I play here majority of the time cause it's in my city and each time I go I'm more disappointed. They stack up people which creates a terrible pace of play every round. Last time I played they made me wait 15 min over my tee time so a group of 4 making the turn could play through.... they were started on the back. I also continually get paired up every time with random people when I have a tee time. There's hardly any cart paths or walking paths. The make shift tee boxes are dead and hard. Try putting a tee in concrete. The fairways are about 60% nice and cut but the rest are garbage. The manager/pro is very rude. Time to play somewhere else. read more
