The thing I appreciated was the simple and effective teaching points that Kyler provided me. I was able to see immediate improvement on my ball striking and ball flight. I don't play a ton of golf, but I want to play more now that I have some easy things to work on. It will definitely be a more enjoyable experience after having taken a lesson there. I also like the free app they provide that allows me to watch my lesson and to remember the things I need to do to improve. Definitely worth a visit.

Let me start by saying he is a very experienced golfer, he golfs 18 holes numerous times a week at many courses throughout the Salt Lake and Utah Valley. He is more than accustomed to golf etiquette and is very patient with courses when things are just moving slow on the course. His 1:00 tee time was delayed by 10-15 minutes. By the 4th hole, a gentleman from two groups behind them drove his cart over to them and told them to speed up their play. My boyfriend and his playing partners politely explained they've been waiting at every tee box and understood the course was just playing slower. He drove off and said have a nice day. This man was not the course Marshall, just someone from a random group. At the 11th hole, the same man began taunting my boyfriend's group telling them to speed up. This continued from hole 11 thru 18. Even though it was obvious that my boyfriends group could not speed up their pace of play as they were waiting on the group in front of them, and if they would have allowed this taunting gentleman to play through, it would not have accomplished anything as the gentleman would have then been waiting on the same party my boyfriends group was. Normally we would chalk this up as poor sportsmanship and golf etiquette of random people on the golf course. However.... This gentleman proceeded to drive up to my boyfriend and yell homophobic slurs. At which time it was uncovered this gentleman is an employee of Fox Hollow Golf Course by the name of Mike. Who was sporting a Mohawk, skinny denim jeans and a zip up hoodie. Not only is it incredibly upsetting that an EMPLOYEE would be ruining a paying customers experience by taunting and belittling a customer, but his homophobic slurs while representing a course he is employed by are disgraceful. As an employee of the course on or off the clock, if you are playing on the course you should be showing the utmost professionalism. Including dressing in true golf appropriate attire and not in street clothes. We will not give our money to Fox Hollow ever again, and strongly encourage any one that is LGBTQ+ or is an ally to rethink giving your money to these people. We will be following up with a better business bureau review as I truly think the amount of taunting my boyfriend went through was a sign of discrimination as Mike believed my boyfriend as Gay based off the slur he yelled. It's rare to find a place where beginners are treated with the same level of respect and attention as experienced golfers. What truly sets X-Golf Riverton apart, though, are the lessons with Adam Witt. Adam is an incredible instructor--patient, encouraging, and extremely knowledgeable. His teaching style is approachable and effective, and he's played a huge role in helping me improve my swing and actually enjoy the learning process. Even after moving out of state, I still make it a point to come back for lessons with him whenever I'm in town. He's that good. The facility itself is immaculate and cutting edge. The simulators are top-of-the-line and make practicing both fun and incredibly realistic. Everything is thoughtfully maintained, and it's clear the staff takes pride in creating a top-tier experience. X-Golf Riverton has earned a permanent spot in my golf journey. A favorite program is the Summer Parks Program that runs June-August. Fun filled activities that include arts and crafts, games and storytelling. My kids had the chance to attend last year, and they loved it! Sandy City has many programs all year long. During the summer months they actually send out a catalogue of upcoming events to residents of Sandy. They have amazing summer programs.
