Spraying the ball everywhere. I finally concluded I needed some lessons from a pro to get me back on track. I found that pro at Old Mill, and his name is Gavin Eckert. He is truly one of the best teachers of golf I have ever worked with. He has a very positive demeanor, and I immediately started hitting the ball better. I spent $300 for the four lesson package, and it has been worth every penny of it! I'm hitting every club crisply and my short game has dramatically improved. I did the old guy thing and invested almost 1K in a new Ping Driver and a Taylor Made mini driver. Now I can actually hit them. Gavin is a great listener, and I believe he patterned his lessons for me based on his understanding of how I processed information. Now, that is a real talent. A favorite program is the Summer Parks Program that runs June-August. Fun filled activities that include arts and crafts, games and storytelling. The manager himself told me this: "We are not Uinta Golf. We don't honor our return/exchange policy". Funny enough I had talked to one of the employees before that and he told me no questions asked you can exchange for the right product. So the Service is not good, the selection is mediocre (Compared to someone like PGA Tour Superstore or Scheels) and there is never any sales found in the store. According to the manager their return/exchange policy is garbage too. Save yourself the headache and go to Uinta Golf, PGA Tour Superstore, or Scheels and have fun with purchasing golf gear (As it should be). Instead of going in and being treated like absolute trash.
