Around the 4th of July and Pioneer Day teenagers set off fireworks in the parking lot late at night, which is a bit of a drag for the people living nearby, but they generally clean up after themselves. I found some broken glass on the sidewalk near the bathrooms a few times, but other than that it had been a great little neighborhood park.

Excellent easy trail for families and joggers. This trail starts by the playground and tennis…read morecourts of the Spanish Fork Sports Park and then follows the Spanish Fork River. It was the perfect stroll for my young kids in the middle of the Summer because it is mostly shaded. The River was really high in June so it wasn't safe for kids to wade in, but I hear at the end of Summer or Sept it can be pretty low. The trail end on one end of the park but then extends beyond the park to the East and goes through a tunnel under the main road. Not sure how far it extends from there. There is a map at the beginning where I mentioned earlier. Perhaps a closer look with tell you those secrets. The trail is well taken care of and fairly wide and smooth. Great for strollers or for running on. HINT: There is a Fantastic climbing tree located in the middle of the trail in the Sports Park! So good, I climbed all the way to the top! :) Someone also attached a little swing that my kids couldn't get enough of.

If you come from out of town it's $10 parking. If you live in Springville you get a free parking pass but you have to get it from the town hall. One unique feature is the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum and the Sons of Utah Pioneers Village ... cool for some local history!

This is without a doubt the most trashed skatepark in Utah County, full of litter and loiterers…read more But it's also one of the best. Skaters will love the street course. Metal lipped ledges and platforms circumvent the bowls and banks area. Transition skaters will dig the 5'/8' kidney bowl. But it's not all good: The concrete's not the smoothest--in part because the amateur parks and rec clean-up decided to sandblast spraypaint off (this park is a big target for weak-sauce, art-free, wanna-be gangsta graffiti). The place is usually a mess (so bring a broom if you plan to skate the bowl). There's no gate to keep the local trash out after dark, so inevitably jr high kids will camp out in a bowl with their Doritos, Little Caesars, and generic 2l Mountain Dews. The final drawback is it's always crowded after 3pm, and typically dominated by bikes and scooters. The biker locals seem easy going. The scooter kids just get in the way. Then there's another crowd, a mixed bunch who don't skate, but bring bikes, yet just sit on the ledges and grass smoking cigs and drinking a mysterious liquid from imitation Sunny D bottles. They always have some girls who seem too young to smoke and a couple butt rockers who are creepy old. Still, come in the morning, or autumn lunch time afternoons. Avoid the crowd. Enjoy a beautiful shred in sight of some of Utah's most majestic mountains.
