Been itching to come here because of their white lava macadamia nut pancakes, haven't had since my last Hawaii trip. They were so good here but next time I'm getting it without the sauce, was a little overpowering. My son ordered the eggs Benedict, they have so many different kinds, he loved it. My mouth was drooling looking at their menu, can't wait to go back because there are so many things I want to try!
Scrambler's just earned a permanent spot on my breakfast rotation... and honestly, I'm still thinking about those pancakes. Let's start with the stars of the show: the ube pancakes and the white chocolate macadamia pancakes. The ube pancakes were so fluffy, light, and full of flavor without being overpowering. But the white chocolate macadamia pancakes? Obsessed. Easily my all-time favorite. They weren't overly sweet, just perfectly balanced, and every bite was chef's kiss. I'm literally writing this and craving another plate. I seriously wish they had a location in San Diego because I would be there all the time. Savory dishes did not disappoint either. I ordered the cowboy chilaquiles and WOW... this is now my top go-to spot for chilaquiles. The beef was so tender and juicy, and the portion was generous. Flavor was on point. We also tried the carne asada omelet, which was tasty, but I will say the bell peppers were a little heavy and kind of overpowered the dish. Still good, just something to note. The kalua pork eggs Benedict was solid. The pork was super tender and juicy, but overall the dish leaned more on the simple side. Not super standout, but still enjoyable. They do not hold back on the potatoes either... and honestly, I didn't mind one bit because they were so good. I finished them all, no shame. I also really appreciate their kids meals. Great portion sizes, good options, and such a solid price point for families. Ambience is nice and chill, and the customer service was amazing. Fast, attentive, and on it. Our server handled everything like a pro... no playing around, just getting it done. Overall, I love this place. If you're looking for a breakfast spot with a little Hawaiian twist, this is it. Just be prepared to leave thinking about those pancakes long after you're gone.
Unfortunately the service and the place just kinda went downhill. Such a turn off they messed up our order twice, and everything just felt so rushed for us to leave. Don't think we would come back or we at least wouldn't dine in. They need to fix that.
The only reason for a 4/5 was their coffee drinks. Everything was great! Coffee was watered down and did not have much coffee flavor in it... just felt like milk and sugar. The loco moco could have had a bit more rice for the amount of gravy that was given to us. I would say majority of their dishes were pretty much all great choices to choose from! Tons of flavor and great options to choose from!
Came in around 11:30am and we were thinking it would be busy. Thank goodness it wasn't as busy since we have been hearing great things about this place. My family and I decided to try it on Friday. I love the setup walking in and sitting arrangements no reservations needed and walked right in. Service was amazing! My wife and I had coffee and it was unlimited and freshly made. It's a restaurant but with fast food style. Wow props to the chef and owner! Food was amazingly delicious!!! I'd recommend to my family and friends to this place. See you again!
I love taking folks to scramblers because not only is it authentic Hawaiian breakfast and other foods, but it's also locally owned! We love the pancakes, breakfast burrito, loco moco and the coffees! This is a walk up and order place and they bring it to your table. The servers are always nice and have great suggestions. There's indoor and outdoor seating and the vibe is always cool.
Always an amazing experience. The servers are very attentive, always refilling my coffee before I run out. Really enjoyed the potatoes. Chicken fried steak is one of my favorites. Hubby and I still usually share the florentine omelette with fried rice And Side of Portuguese sausage, don't forget the extra plate and coffee to go:) Also love the renovation!
TL;DR: busy little place but food was good. Get the island Chillaquilles. On a road trip we found this place through fellow helpers. We miss the Hawaiian grindz we used to get in Maui. Craving something ube or kalua pork. Everything sounded pretty good. They do their best in getting your order and then finding a table for your party. It's a small place but cozy and felt like a mom and pop place which is the good stuff. One of the dishes we ordered was the turkey avo melt sandwich. Came with fries and it was good. Had to try the loco moco with chicken Katsu. Sounded different so it was a little weird combination. Better stick with the hamburger patty if you want the traditional loco moco. The highlight was the Island Chillaquilles. Chillaquilles with Kalua pork. And the kalua pork did have that Hawaiian flavor it was so good. We were sharing so not enough to go around. For the Ube, we got the ice Ube drink. It was good, but it was really sweet and a little overdone with the flavor. I would recommend anyone wanting a good breakfast and especially if someone wanted some good Hawaiian Griindz breakfast.
From the moment you walk in, the place feels warm and cozy. The process is simple you order before being seated, and once you're done, they give you a table number and you can sit back and relax. We came in early, around 8:45-9:00 AM, so the turnaround time for our food was quick, which we really appreciated. My husband ordered the cowboy chilaquiles with an orange juice, and I had the chorizo omelette with home potatoes We also shared an ube pancake, and I treated myself to the ube coffee. Every single bite was worth it full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Shoutout to my mom for bringing me here this is officially my new favorite breakfast spot!
Scramblers Cafe Norco, CA Date went 11/8/25 Time went 8:39am (about an hour and a half after opening; it opens at 7:30am) Parking: Not fun, the shopping center it's located it is pretty crowded but it's manageable if you're patient When you enter this location you order at the cashier and then you be seated at a table. We ordered our food at 8:40am and got our food at 8:55am (15 minute wait time). What we ordered and food ratings: FULL DISCLOSURE: My boyfriend has been to Hawaii and has had some of the items we ordered in Hawaii, I have not. However, I have ate at several other Hawaiian locations before. The aforementioned information plays a factor into our ratings. Atmosphere: Lovely, I appreciated this breakfast cafe had a ton of seating! I feel like most cafes are small and cramped. Hawaiian iced coffee: 7/10; It's pretty wild to me that this appears to be one of the most popular items for this locations reviews. It has a light flavor and at first I thought I was getting an almost woodsy aftertaste, then I came to find out this drink is made of coconut syrup, macadamia nut, half ice and half coffee with whip cream topping. ($6.50) Captain Mac Nut French toast: 6.5/10; My boyfriend said this wasn't nearly as crunchy nor fluffy as the one he has tried in Hawaii. It also came with syrup and "white lava" sauce to dip it in. ($15) Hawaiian bbq breakfast combo: 6.5/10; I got the Hawaiian bbq chicken, the bbq sauce, potatoes, and eggs. The chicken was okay, the potatoes were soggy and appeared to be under seasoned,and the eggs were just simply eggs. The dish was underwhelming and the potatoes felt like they were frozen and then recooked. ($16) So for about $40.00 my boyfriend and I were both sad and unsatisfied with this Hawaiian breakfast. :( Recommendations: Name tags and more seasoning (at least salt and pepper).
First time coming to Scramblers Cafe and the menu and indoor decor look very familiar. Upon reading online their sister branch is Aloha Stacks! That's great because I go there often as well. I'm always craving delicious Hawaiian food and this time we ordered the loco moco with katsu and upgraded to fried rice (total of $17.50). The upgrade cost was $2.50. I was disappointed because the food arrived lukewarm and there was barely any gravy. The upgraded fried rice was also lukewarm warm and too salty to taste. Barely any scrambled eggs within the fried rice. Looked more like soy sauce rice than fried rice. The over easy fried egg was the only thing that was good and served hot. This entree came first. We also asked for an extra side of gravy and it never came. Darn. I also got their kahula pork Benedict ($16) which came 10 minutes after the loco moco. This was served hot and tasted good. The Manila pork was tender and flavorful. Side of potato's was burnt and not salted. Had to add ketchup to make it better. Friendly staff and nice ambiance inside. There's also outside patio seating as well. They have assigned indoor seating. Comes with complimentary ice waters. Will probably come back here next time to try their sweet items like ube pancakes but I think I'm going to visit Aloha stack more often than here. Disappointed that this restaurant is associated with with Aloha Stacks since their food is pretty good.
I've came to this restaurant a couple of times and it's great! Their harvest benedict is my favorite and the potatoes they come with are really good but honestly nothing beats the hawaiian iced coffee they have!! The service here is also amazing, even when they're really busy, everyone is super kind and attentive to you. They have a great system with seating, where you don't have to look around and find your own table. Overall, the food, service, ambiance, and music is great, I'd love to come back again!! (Also kind of reminds me of Island Vintage which makes me miss Hawaii so much haha)
In the very crowded shopping center, right next to Starbucks is Scramblers. The first battle will be finding a parking spot and avoiding crashing into anyone in the small lanes. The next will be deciding to eat inside or outside. My family is a big one of 6 people, and even though four of those people are small, we still have a tough time finding seating - this was no exception. We thought to sit outside on a picnic table with an umbrella but the umbrella was jammed shut putting the table out of commission - we ended up jamming 3 small tables together to fit. Okay onto the food which we care to hear about: #1 Kids breakfast pancake - this was perfect for my kid but she only likes over easy or over medium eggs and the business would not make her egg that way. They said kids meals have to have scrambled eggs - super lame so we had to buy an egg a la carte to add to her meal and then no one ended up eating the scrambled egg anyway which I hate since it's wasting food. (see picture) #2 Huevos Rancheros - my fault ordering this at a non-Mexican restaurant. Beans seemed canned. Egg on top of oil soaked corn tortillas to make soft. Non-spicy sauce. Good avocado. Soft potatoes. Overall very underwhelming. #3 Island Chilaquiles- again our fault trying Mexican, but with an islander spin. Much like the huevos rancheros the Mexican part was underwhelming and the rice for the "islander" part tasted day old - the pork was decent. #4 strawberry crepes - these were thin and tasty! Nothing but good things to say as strawberries were fresh, cream was good, powdered sugar was nice! #5. Loco moco- rice again tasted old and a little mushy. The burger honestly did not come across as homemade and more so premade but again take that as a grain of salt from our opinion. The gravy was delicious and buttery. Egg done perfectly. Water was free and brought promptly to the table. We also ordered a coffee which was good not burnt. So at the end of the day this was a good spot to try but we will not be returning

This place has been on my "to try" list for years, finally made the trip to try it after my brother went to Hawaii and seeing his pictures made me miss/crave some loco moco. Unfortunately I was very underwhelmed. Food - Eh. The loco moco gravy had no flavor and the burger was overcooked and dry. My husband loves ube so we also got the ube pancakes, not bad but not a fan of the shredded coconut inside, the texture is just a no for both of us. Drinks - my matcha latte was delicious so there's that! Ambiance- I was surprised this was an order when you walk in place but that's fine by me! Laid back vibe. Customer service - everyone was very nice and the food came fast I'm not going to say I would NEVER come back , but I think I would stick to an omelet or breakfast burrito. I've been to scramblers Cafe a few times and always has great food and service until my last visit. Unfortunately this visit was disappointing. I ordered the Kalua Pork Benedict and it was cold, like it had been sitting out before it made it to my table. Their iced ube matcha latte??? More like iced sugar milk topped with ube cold foam. What really ruined the experience during my last visit was witnessing the owner, Lily, speak rudely and disrespectfully to her staff in front of customers. It was uncomfortable to watch and left a bad taste in mine and my friends mouth. If thats how she treats her staff with people watching, I don't want to imagine how it is behind the scenes. All the other employees were great, minus the owner. I believe in supporting businesses that treat their employees well. Sadly, that wasn't the case here. Based on past visits and the food alone, I wouldve given this place a 4 out of 5 stars. But after this experience, I can't in good conscience recommend it. read more

This is a nice small Hawaiian brunch place we found in Norco. You first order your food before sitting down. They'll ask if you're dining in or take-out, and if dining in they'll point you to a table to sit. We got their Loco Moco & Spicy Chorizo Omelette with Fried Rice. Not a big fan of their Fried Rice (which is an extra $2.50) but the omelette was delicious. Flavor was good for the Loco Moco, but the homemade hamburger was a bit small for the amount of rice they provide though & only comes with 1 patty. They have a fountain drink station & water jugs you can bring back to your table which is very convenient. Once done, you can leave your plates on the table. Parking is really small, so I recommend parking on the side of Starbucks and not in front of the restaurant. Will try again because the Ube Coconut Pancakes caught my eye! read more

I stopped by Scramblers for brunch with a friend. This concept is affiliated with the Aloha Stacks restaurants and serves a similar Hawaiian inspired menu. When you arrive, you order at the counter, the server asks you if you want to dine in or to go, and then assigns you to a table where you go sit and wait for your food to arrive. You cannot change your assigned table (makes me feel like I'm at school), but I guess it's because they put it on your order so the staff knows where to bring your food. This method apparently works, because there's no one fighting for/saving tables, and the food came to our table pretty fast. We decided to share the Hawaiian omelette (subbed turkey sausage for the ham) and ube waffle. We also both got the Hawaiian latte. The Hawaiian omelette had pineapple in it, which sounds super weird (eggs & pineapple?!?!), but it was surprisingly good! The Ube Waffle came with a little container of coconut syrup - and like Aloha Stacks, they are skimpy with the syrup. Other than it being a shade of purple, and having tons of whipped cream on top, it didn't taste extraordinary. The Hawaiian latte was great, I loved the taste of the coconut milk mixed in! This is a little taste of Hawaii, perfect for a breakfast or lunch craving that can't wait a 5hr flight to paradise. We came in right before the brunch rush, so we definitely got lucky. The whole time we were here the line to order was pretty long, so that's always a good sign. When we ordered, our food came out probably within 5 mins . So fast. The food is tasty and not overly salted which is nice. I missed Portuguese sausage so much, so this was definitely a treat. I got POG juice and it mentally transported me back to Maui (praying for them) quick and in a hurry. If you've had it before in HI, you know the texture is a little on the thick side, and perfect. Same here! They have the doors open, so you have some flies that come to visit, but other than that it's a nice indoor outdoor spot with Hawaiian music and a bustling atmosphere. This is our new to go brunch place. They always have great food and service! We love everything on the menu. Especially their pancakes our kid loves it!!! Also I have to highly recommend the carne asada omelet and the eggs Benedict we ordered during our recent visit. The only drawback is they don't have that much of choices on hot coffee like a decent latte or mocha or something, it's mainly black coffee and all other drinks are iced. This place is a cute place for brunch or lunch for sure. I just discovered it while driving around and they have a lot of great breakfast options but a great Hawaiian side as well. You can have spam musubi or chicken katsu. They have chicken katsu and waffles, which looked really good. Service was great and the food was definitely amazing. read more

Dropped in for breakfast Sunday morning and we beat the crowd at 8:30. Nice outdoor seating and a good amount of indoor seating too. It's still on the smaller side, very clean and friendly staff. The menu has lots of great options! It was hard to choose. Here's what we got: Breakfast Melt with ham and potatoes and the Breakfast Combo with scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and wheat toast. Both were really good, the eggs were cooked perfect, the potatoes were nice and crispy on the outside, they use a really nice wheat bread for the toast, the sandwich had a good amount of ham and was nice and crispy. The only complaint was that the bacon was overcooked. I like crispy bacon but because it's a thick cut it gets hard instead of crunchy, but it still taste good. I mean...it's Bacon! I love that they had Chipotle Tabasco sauce! I've never had it and I love it! Mixed it with ketchup for my potatoes and it was delicious. The portion sizes are good and I definitely want to come back and try the Ube Waffle with strawberry & coconut (among other things!). read more

Yummy Hawaiian spot! I've been here a few times and the quality is always so great! I recommend the ube pancakes, loco moco, and the corned beef hash! I also tried the ube latte and it was good. Also, the staff are so nice and made it a great experience for me. I went on a Thursday and there was no wait, but I've been here before on a Saturday and there was a wait. The parking lot can be kind of packed here too. Will definitely be a go to place whenever I'm back in the IE. :) read more

Directions: just off of the 15 fwy on the West side you exit 6th street , Norco head West then a left on Hamner then a quick left into the shopping complex. It is a very tight parking lot with not many spaces by the restaurant there are a couple of handicap spots in front however be aware they are accessed by a dead end with traffic coming out of a drive thru coffee shop. It is a very busy location but if walking is not an issue there is parking on the South end of the complex. Arrived at 11:00 on a Sunday and there was an inside line to the door which is common for this business. They do move the line thru very quickly. The cashier after taking your order will assign you a seating location inside or outside which ever you prefer. The menu is loaded with options so many that the overhead menu is difficult to read because the writing is so small in order to fit it all on the board. They have a hand held that you can use. I ordered the Pork Eggs Benedict and my wife tried the buttermilk pancakes and a side of bacon. See pics. The Eggs Benedict came with two eggs and half a plate of perfectly roasted red rose potatoes. The Benedict had a good portion of smoked, juicy and tender pulled pork with a perfectly cooked egg on top. The hollandaise sauce was very balanced and with the smokey flavor from the pork was a unique and very pleasant tasting experience. The buttermilk pancakes were very light and fluffy and had perfect flavor. The table was clean and there are a lot of servers moving around to assist you. They were all very friendly and even asked if I would like a coffee to go. read more

first of all, i have to thank the staff for being so kind and attentive to not just me and my family, but the other customers around too :) we were always being checked on to make sure everything was adequate and that everything with our experience was going good. as for the food, it was just as great! i ordered the chicken katsu and thoroughly enjoyed how crispy and well cooked it was, and the macaroni salad was incredible (!!!). my mom got the hawaiian bbq mix and she was especially a fan of the bee, and my dad got the loco moco. he basically cleaned the plate and was very satisfied with his meal :) for dessert, we had a strawberry-banana nutella crepe (thank you lily!!!) and it was DELICIOUS the inside of the cafe is perfectly sized. you don't feel cramped while eating and the way it's designed is very nostalgic if you've ever been to hawaii before. it feels very true! i cannot recommend this place enough :) (side note: this is for their ONTARIO location, but since they aren't on yelp yet, i figured i could leave a review on their norco one since i assume the experience would be similar!) read more

I'm not from this area, but I would seriously make the drive just to eat here. I tried the Kalua pork omelette, Kalua pork benedict, and ube coconut pancakes. I would recommend the benedict over the omelette because the omelette was a little unseasoned. I had to add salt to make it taste good, but it was still yummy! The benedict tasted much better. The ube coconut pancakes were my favorite. It wasn't overly sweet, and the ube was subtle, yet the perfect amount. The coconut icing was a nice touch. I dream of those pancakes. Pricing is fair, service is fast and friendly. No complaints! I would recommend. I could see this place getting really busy on the weekends, as there isn't much seating. Scramblers is my favorite breakfast spot in Corona! I love their Fruity Pebbles french toast and Norco Fried Rice! Everything I have tried is bomb. They have the best hawaiin iced coffee. I tried scramblers for the first time and was helped by Daniella, she was so helpful and kind! The food was AMAZING - I had the eggs benedict and ube pancake which I was so excited for and it came out better than I expected. I also got the Hawaiian latte which I didn't even know they had but Daniella recommended it from the specials they were offering and it was the best coffee I ever had, I had to come back for it! I will def be back and bring my friends and family too! read more

Good luck! LOL. They're usually so busy that they don't answer. If they happen to pick up, you should go buy a lotto ticket because chances are slim!
