Not a lot today. Not sure what the disconnect was with them and door dash thank God I live close enough to where I can pick it up. Also asked for sunny side up eggs and got over medium eggs. Not a good experience today. I'm usually very satisfied but today I was not

The food preparation and cooks are not tasty They forget food items and the pancakes taste like funnel cake not fluffy at all. They were hard a brick

The menu was pretty interesting with some fusion items and comfort foods. Dutch Baby - They described this as kind of a steamed pancake and it was pretty tasty. Besides being piping hot, it had the best chewy eggy texture and reminded me of a popover. It wasn't too sweet and got most of the flavor from the berries and light syrup on top. Pork Katsu Breakfast Sandwich - This one sounded the most interesting to us and it came with the pork katsu, egg, aioli and arugula. The chicken was crispy and light and I really enjoyed the sweet brioche bun but it could have used a bit more sauce. The thin crisp fries on the sides were nice too. Overall, we really enjoyed their brunch dishes and do want to come back to try some of their other more popular items like the french toast banana foster that ran out that day.

On a whim, I called Butcher Bar and told them I know it's last minute on a Saturday night, but could they accommodate 9 people. They told me if we were there in 30 minutes they could make it work, so we rushed over. We sat at the bar for drinks as they cleaned up a table. They overheard us talking about how The Trough would be nice (feeds 8 for $300, but was more than enough for us 9), and said if we wanted that they could get it started as the table was prepared. We said yes, and were sat a few minutes later with drinks in hand. Jenna (Gema? She had grape earrings) was a fantastic server and just so kind and attentive. She kept the drinks flowing and The Trough arrived sooner than I expected and was everything I wanted for dinner and more. I can't thank Butcher Bar enough for saving the night for my 40th and just providing a fantastic experience. We'll be back, and we promise to give more notice next time! :)

I used to…read morevisit when they were cooking out of the trailer behind the VFW in Woodbury, and somehow I never made it to their new location. After finally stopping in, I have one question... Why did I wait so long? This is, without question, the best barbecue I've ever had in my life. The first surprise was the restaurant itself. I knew they had a nice outdoor seating area, but I had no idea they also had a beautiful indoor dining room. It's clean, comfortable, and a huge step up from what I was expecting. We were greeted by the sweetest young lady named V, and she was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer our questions. Customer service like that makes a great meal even better. My wife and I split a full slab of ribs, and they were nothing short of incredible. Tender without falling apart, packed with smoky flavor, and finished with just the right amount of sauce. Every bite reminded me why good barbecue is worth the wait. For sides, we ordered the mac & cheese and their famous Mean Beans. I'll admit, I thought "Mean Beans" meant green beans. It turns out they're baked beans...and that's saying something because I normally don't even like baked beans. These completely changed my mind. They were rich, smoky, and absolutely delicious. Then there was the cornbread. I've had cornbread all over the place, but this was hands down the best cornbread I've ever eaten. Moist, buttery, just the right amount of sweetness--it was almost dessert. Big Swerve's has come a long way from the trailer behind the VFW, and it's great to see them thriving. The food is phenomenal, the service is outstanding, and every part of the meal exceeded my expectations. This isn't just another barbecue joint. It's the kind of place that reminds you what barbecue is supposed to taste like. Five stars isn't enough. This has officially become my favorite barbecue restaurant anywhere, and I'll be back again and again.

In the era of COVID, ghost kitchens remain a safe and affordable option and a huge treat for us foodies. Operating out of The Twisted Tail in Headhouse Square, What's the Catch promises authentic British staples. Intrigued, to say the least, my partner and I stopped by on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch. We opted for the Cod with the Traditional Beer Batter, and the Haddock with Lemon and Parsley Batter. For sides, we went with the Twice Cooked Chips and the Garlic Parmesan Chips. Each platter comes with a Tartar Sauce, so we added on Malt Vinegar Mayo, Spicy Mayo, and Curry Sauce. Within 15 minutes of placing our order, my phone buzzed -- ready for pickup! We scoped out a spot in Headhouse Square to enjoy the rare day of pleasant weather before digging in. The food was delightful. The batters both sported a fluffy and flavorful crisp. While you couldn't go wrong either way, I personally preferred the complementary flavors of Lemon and Parsley. Neither fish was overtly fishy, but cod filet felt sturdier, whereas the haddock was flakier. For the chips, I don't necessarily think the Garlic Parm was worth the upgrade -- mostly because the standard fries option was already stellar. Wedge-style with a crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with a tasteful portion of finishing salt, these fries rival any others in the city. The standout sauce in my book was the Malt Vinegar Mayo, an homage to the staple condiment in Britain. Immediately reminding me of London, this sauce perfectly complemented both the fish and the chips. The Curry Sauce was also tasty and surprisingly large (can't believe I'm saying this, but I almost wished they offered a smaller option of it!). Otherwise, the Tartar was fairly standard, while the Spicy Mayo was nothing to write home about. The prices are fortunately very reasonable: the $13 "Regular"-sized fish platter had a single, satisfyingly large, filet and a generous helping of fries. With a great combination of flavor, novelty, and price. What's the Catch skyrockets toward the top of the (relatively short) list of Philly chippies. While I question how well the fried options would hold up to delivery, I would definitely swing by again for takeout if in the neighborhood.

The four of us found the Dutch on Yelp, and headed there from our hotel in Philly. It reminded my wife and I of some of the neighborhood spots. We enjoyed so much in our own town of Baltimore. The waitress, JENN, was fantastic. I think she had every table, but every employee were doing their part. The chef must handpick the ingredients, because everything was fresh and delicious. My wife and I each had a special pressed fruit drink to start, and it was a perfect appetizer if you will. Very refreshing and energizing. The food was amazing. I had the mushroom omelette. The mushrooms were very fresh and not overcooked. The omelette was thick, but not foamy. All of the ingredients were handled with care on the inside. The taste of truffles was a nice addition. My wife had the salmon omelette, and it was out of this world. Possibly the best omelette I've ever tasted. She agreed. Delicate, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. One of our boys had a huge waffle covered in fresh berries, and just the right amount of whipped cream. He said it was the best waffle he ever had, and I have to agree. Light and fluffy and sweet, he didn't even add syrup. Perfect. Our other son had the double cheeseburger. Again, cooked perfectly, and the avocado was very fresh and an excellent addition. When we are in Philly again, this will be our breakfast spot. An absolute pleasure dining here. I highly recommend.

(This version did somewhere between the two). However, I would return to get more breakfast basics. I have had Dutch pancakes that pack more flavor but no ones complaining! My friends had never had them before so I was a bit disappointed because I really hyped them up to be a great standalone pancake however they had a great time once they put syrup on theirs!
