Fries are to die for!!! So crispy and hot. The only thing I crave after a long week. An awesome walkable breakfast/brunch spot in Point Breeze. Lots of walk in and coffee order takeouts. Very cozy with great food and friendly staff.

This is a neighborhood gem!! Family place with a ton of seating. Fresh food and it comes fast with a smile. The food is hearty. Big portions and they will do as you ask. BYOB makes it even better. The service was fast and they were attentive. I would absolutely return. I had trouble even deciding what it was we wanted. Plenty of people coming in and out. Turkey sausage was superb. I had the veggie hummus wrap and my bestie ordered smoked salmon substitute on avocado toast. Delicious and we will absolutely return.

Neighborhood gem! Delicious food, friendly and welcoming service, quick and responsive, clean, no line/wait, great prices, big space w plenty of seating in the front and area in the back! Decent portions. Only complaint is wish the crab cakes for the crab benedict had been more crab and less filling and a bit more spice. Fries and burger were delicious. Would like to see a fried chicken stand alone amd sweet potato fries. Side salad to crab benedict was very good. Strawberry stuffed french toast was yummy. Would like a little less of the strawberry spread on it and maybe more on the side and drizzled w more berries. Would also like to see bigger pieces of challah but very yummy. Espresso drink was very good. Customer plates around our table looked really yummy. Pleasantly surprised. Parking wasn't difficult and on Easter Sunday no line. Could tell this is where the neighborhood comes. Will most definitely be back! Highly recommend!!!

Sunday brunch spot! Great menu choices. Chicken waffle and Cobb salad were great! Chicken waffle was delicious and salad was super fresh! Staff was very helpful!

Cute little cafe with plenty of options to enjoy. We came after a workout as part of a large group and they did not blink! I loved how they make their breakfast sandwiches fresh yet were still able to keep up with the crowd (20+ people from the workout). Prices are fair and the dine in area is quaint. Even as the seemingly never ending line came in, the staff kept their smiles up and were extremely friendly. The food and service aligned well to create the perfect feel for brunch. As I don't live in the area, I am not sure I'll be back too soon. However, I would make it a point to return when I am in the area. Enjoy!

great hole in the wall brunch spot in walking distance of other bustling ones! service was good, food took a slightly longer amount of time than expected but it was worth the wait. I liked the crepe but savory options others in my party got looked better.

Two Eagles can be found in a quieter section of Point Breeze, not found along any major roadways. So, make it a point to go over there - it's worth every second. I like the aesthetic of the location: it's small, quiet, but still has a decent amount of seating for the space it occupies. It's decorated nicely, and I enjoy staring at everything on the walls. I stopped in, ordered some avocado toast and a latte and some other small items, and was very pleased with my total cost at the end. I feel like I've made similar orders at cafes only to pay much more for what I paid for here. I've been there a few times now, and I've been greeted by a different person each time, and they're all incredibly warm and friendly. This also makes Two Eagles that much more appealing. Highly recommend.

This family-run cafe NEVER disappoints. We arrived early afternoon and were greeted with friendly smiles and great service! We sat down and was immediately offered coffee and water. The menu has so much variety with some Albanian dishes as well! I started off with a Nutella croissant (not pictured). It was flakey, warm, and fresh. The freshly baked croissant was filled with gooey Nutella and warmed up so the outer later was nice and crisp. I got the Albanian Shakshuka (pictured). It was so comforting, especially on a rainy day like today. The owner came by and offered more fresh bread for this hearty dish. The tomato stew was creamy and rich, and the fresh bread accompanying it is unbeatable. My friend got the Grilled Chicken BLT. The chicken was juicy and tender. The tomatoes and avocado were so fresh along with the brioche bun. The fries were also very crispy and flavorful. To share, we got the Two Eagles Crepe. It was a classic French crepe filled with fresh bananas, strawberries, and chocolate sauce. Overall, Two Eagles Cafe deserve more than 5 stars. Really nice, chill, fairly priced brunch spot. I wanted something really low key for Sunday brunch. Got a latte and a bagel sandwich with home fries. I loved it! Absolutely coming back next time I'm in philly.

The prices are right, the atmosphere is great and access to Publix transportation is readily available. Before I get to the food this is a well designed café nicely thought out, very clean and neat. The neighborhood patrons are very friendly, I had a very nice and long discussion while sharing a table with the writer 'J', he was rather interesting. While will we talked the owners wife came to each table to ensure we were enjoying our meal, if we needed anything additional. The food is sold at a great price it's fairly decent just not great it's good enough especially for the price and the portions you receive. Cubed potatoes are not home fries and the bacon was slightly undercooked but it was very meaty. Another drawback is when you order pancakes they are already served with syrup poured over them, with no additional syrup on the table. Additionally this syrup did not remotely attempt to have the taste of maple this was pure fructose syrup. I mean no flavor at all just slightly a sticky feel. I really wanted to love this place but 'kinda like' will have to do.

Reservations are a good idea since it can get busy. To start, we shared a fresh goat cheese salad along with the following entrees , including short rib over polenta, mushroom pasta, grape leaves, and an octopus salad. Everything was flavorful and nicely prepared, and it was fun to try a variety of dishes. For dessert, we had the salted caramel boudino, which was a perfect way to end the meal--rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. We added on the salad b/c we need something else. I always thought 'family style' was larger portions shared by the table. No biggie. The room is not big a bit cozy. All table were taken but didn't feel cramped or chaotic. Overall - very glad I came to Barbuzzo and would certainly recommend.

From…read morethe speakeasy vibe of the restaurant to its South Philly culinary inspiration, it was an amazing meal that we'll always remember. We ordered a number of things to share family style - - The Artichoke Francaise appetizer was something we'd never seen before on a menu, so we wanted to try. It was so good and I'm still trying to dupe it at home for my vegetarian hubs. - My husband is a eggplant parm connoisseur, so we also ordered their Eggplant 'Parmigiana' appetizer. He said it was good. - Ricotta Tortelloni was delicious and our favorite savory dish. The aged balsamic cuts through all the richness of the cheeses perfectly. It was so good! - To round off the meal, we ordered dessert and ordered the tiramisu. Glad we did because Giuseppe's & Son's has the BEST tiramisu that either of us has ever tasted. Ava was our waiter that evening. She was the best! When I mentioned my husband was vegetarian, she made sure to clear with him if certain ingredients in the dishes were ok with him. It's a big relief whenever that happens when we dine out. Plus, she was friendly and convivial. The tables at either side of us liked her too. That quality is important and adds to the overall experience for diners. Just had to shout out. Giuseppe's is hands-down a wonderful place and a gem. We highly recommend it if you're looking for something truly special.

Decorated vintage chic Italian restaurant with booth and table seating. We started off with three cocktails that were seasonal options all were good and boozy as expected. The waiter was great at recommending top picks and favorites. We started dinner with the 8oz mozzarella and meatball appetizer. The meatballs were served 4 in sauce small to average size meatballs were good, soft and flavorful. The mozzarella was a show pulling it tableside from curds to a full 8oz ball finished with salt , pepper, and flavored olive oil. Dinner we ordered three Italian specialties. Chicken Milanese that was served with shaved Italian cheese and arugula. One vela parm which had the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. The third meal was a basic bolognese that was served with mafaldine pasta. Entrees were all good. We also added the truffle pasta option for the table which was also prepared tableside with the cheese wheel and shavings of fresh black truffles was a perfect finish. We also had a sharing side of gnocchi with sauce. All in all we had a solid meal. It wasn't the best Italian I even had but it's good. The total was 336 for three with 2 rounds of drinks . This is pretty good for center city fine dining.

Everything was as perfect as it could be why is that because this restaurants been doing it for over 126 years they know a thing or two their customers and had to prepare plate delicious meals. Surprise surprise we actually found parking OK maybe that's because we got there earlier than our reservation in hopes to make another stop that didn't work out so we came early and they greeted us with open arms took us to a beautiful table in front of vintage fireplace hence we were sitting in the perfect spot. Our server, Justin came over to greet us. We got into some conversation before we even touched upon the food. He was exceptional at his run through the menu, his explanations on preparations handling questions. This was definitely not his first, not his second and not his third rodeo he's definitely a professional at what he does. Upon review of the menu we started off with steamed clams and a spicy marinara and actually asked for fra Diavlo hence they gave it an additional hit of spice. It had a nice kick. It was very tasty. My wife was going back-and-forth between their signature lasagna and a little weak weenie with crab Bianco and in the end she went with the baked lasagna oh my goodness the size of that piece on the plate we took half home. She certainly enjoyed her. For me, I went with the veal Catherine, the medallions veal with shrimp, lump crab meat, and fresh tomato and a Bianco sauce the plating presentation I can't describe you'll just have to see my photograph. I've never seen it like this before and it was extremely tasty. Very tender I would certainly get that dish again. And since I am not a pasta eater, I ordered a side vegetable of broccoli Rob. And we ordered a bottle of the Italian Montepuliciano wine, what was the perfect compliment to our dinner? And this was my birthday. My wife was surprising me she had already pre-ordered their homemade tiramisu with ladyfingers, which would wind up taking with us cause we were kind of full and had later that night at one of our favorite coffee houses in Philly and boy that dessert was perfect and I'm glad we waited. Again, everybody was smiles, friendly, and helpful. The place of spotless and you really feel like you're in someone's home.
