Made my 2nd trip to Scrambl'd today. This was during the lunch rush on a weekday. There was no wait and we were sat immediately. Overall, from start to finish, my visit was about an hour. We tried the peach cobbler biscuit (should be served as a dessert since it comes with ice cream), the salmon salad (salmon was seasoned well), and the shrimp and grits (nicely cooked, seasoned and smooth not lumpy). Once again, a great playlist was in the background of great company and conversation to set the atmosphere. read more

My hubby and I had a brunch date to try Scrambl'd at 1742 NE 23rd Street in OKC. We've seen multiple posts from our friend, Kirby, about the grand opening, and we were excited to check it out! I ordered a Henny Rita but received a Morning Margarita instead. It was tart and crisp. One of the waitstaff realized I had the wrong drink and offered to correct it. The Henny Rita was smooth and refreshing! I ordered the blackened salmon salad and lobster Mac and Cheese. The salmon was perfectly prepared. The lobster mac was presented beautifully with a lobster tail on top of creamy cheesy goodness. It was just a bit of work to cut the lobster into bite sized pieces. Mike ordered the fried pork chops, which he found to be zestfully seasoned and tender. It came with eggs, breakfast potatoes and toast. Next time, we're going to try the peach cobbler biscuit and fried French Toast! We were expecting a 40 minute wait to be seated but were escorted to our table within 10 minutes. It took a while for our food to arrive, but everything was hot and delicious! Our server, Shay, was friendly and welcoming. Arrived at scramble this morning, it wasn't too busy since it's a Thursday. There were still quite a few folks but no wait time for our table. First, I would like to say that the staff was so accommodating, and our server TT was delightful. I met my friend there who also brought their children. I'd like to note that as of right now Scrambld does not have a children's menu - so that was a little surprising. However the meal I ordered had large portions so I was able to give my little one the pancake that came with my meal, no extra charge. I ordered the OG breakfast which was eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, and a side, toast or waffle or pancake. Portions were very healthy which is great because it matches the price point! Flavors were all delightful in the bacon was nice and thiccc I also ordered an iced cappuccino with hazelnut, again a healthy portion. Everything I ordered came out fresh (as opposed to sitting under a heat lamp) and tasted amazing. Overall I was very pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. The atmosphere is the type of atmosphere that makes me proud to be an African American in OKC. The food came out quickly for as busy as they were. The food overall was ok.The serving sizes were generous. With that said, we did not receive our drinks before our meals and then was disappointed with the size for the cost. Our server did not bring us condiments with our meal (syrup, jelly,salt/pepper, hot sauce,ketchup). We had to ask another very busy server to bring up what we needed and our drinks. Also ordered cheese on our eggs, as you can see from the picture, there was no cheese. I do recommend this establishment, but make sure you get what you asked and paid for. read more

We were greeted as soon as we walked in and we're able to choose where we wanted to sit. The interior is really nice. My husband who could care less pointed out the tile on the floor (look who learned things from our home build!) and the lighting fixtures. I LOVE a patio and can't wait to come back and have drinks on their patio. I ordered a cold brew and my husband and I both got the fried chicken and pancakes. He substituted the deep fried French toast on his and got a side of scrambled eggs with cheese. It took a while to get the cold brew and that was a little annoying but it had a good flavor. Our food however came out quickly and was so pretty. As soon as my husband saw the chicken he was like this is your chicken lol. So be aware it's either oven fried or air fried and not a traditional breaded and deep grease fried chicken wing. The restaurant was quickly filling up but the kitchen staff and our server were right there getting us all the things we needed and asked for. We received our check quickly after we asked for it and it was correct. As for the food the reason my rating is 3.5 is that my pancakes weren't cooked in the middle nor my husbands French toast. The French toast had an outstanding flavor but the mushiness ruined them for the both of us. His eggs didn't have cheese either. Overall these are kinks any new restaurant would have and won't prevent me from going again. I live in this neighborhood and can't wait to take myself on a solo breakfast date on the patio so I will be back. I will update the review when I try it again. Without a doubt, the worst service I've ever received. I'm very understanding of when a company is busy, but the service was inexcusable. 1) It 15-20 mins for someone to take our order. 2) Then it took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. 3) We had three people at the table. They delivered the food ten minutes apart for each person. 4) Four workers were not doing anything. One was drinking on the job. Another was eating. Two were play fighting, walking around the whole time, and flirting with women. I support black business, so I hate I had to write this. However, we have to be better. The owner needs to hold his workers to higher standards. I'm all for having fun, but get your job done. read more

Absolutely awesome experience for Mother's Day brunch. The man who sat us was a busy bee, working the bar and seating and waiting tables all at once but he was so friendly and got everything right. Made a fantastic French 75 and an excellent espresso martini, among many delicious mimosas. Food was sooo good and big portions. They were pumping out the R&B classics, we loved it. I ordered the "chicken and pancakes," and the chicken was unseasoned and grilled--odd choice. The pancake tasted like it was made with cornbread mix, which didn't help. To top it off, they gave us a half-full bottle of syrup meant to be shared between five people, paired with oversized pancakes. Big pancakes, barely any syrup--definitely not worth the price. Wow. Just an amazing breakfast. We all had the exact same meal, the OG. 3 eggs, bacon, potatoes and a waffle. Two had drip coffees and I had an americano. One of the best I've ever had. The kind server, Richard told me they use a local bean. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere, the laid back casual vibe with great music. Service was a little slow, but it's that kind of place where a little slower is perfection. We all had over medium eggs, a true test of a fried egg and they were all perfect. Cooked whites, slightly more done yolk. Just yum. Let's talk bacon for a moment. This was magical bacon. Nice and thick, yet crispy and great pepper crust. We couldn't finish it all and took it home. It heats up well in the air fryer. The potatoes were next level. And the waffle with the cinnamon butter. Heaven was sent forth to me on a plate from that waffle iron. Next time I will ask for more cinnamon butter, there's no limit to that goodness. Go here. By far the best food and experience we had all weekend. read more
