One of my favorite restaurants in St. Louis now! I dont like vegetables that much, but they even make vegetables delicious! Pasta, steak, fish, and chicken were also excellent! Great food! Great vibes! Great service!

Wonderful dining experience! The service was great! The host, server assistant and our server were all excellent. The carrots and cauliflower were delicious. The house sourdough was perfect. I ordered the bucatini for my main and my boyfriend got the flank steak. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We were sat in the bar area on the high top tables in the window so we didn't get to see the other seating areas. But what we saw was beautiful. I can't wait to return!

Met up with friends for cocktails after work. The space is warm and inviting. The staff friendly and welcoming. We were seated in the bar area on cozy couches which felt reminiscent of being at a friend's house. The cocktail list offers classic as well as house specialties. My favorite was the Lime in the coconut. I'm a tropical girl at heart and this cocktail was perfect. The food was fabulous!! Dishes were well plated, the perfect amount to share with friends. The attention to detail in the handmade pasta, fresh herbs brightened up every bite. Please save a little room for dessert. Or use my pro tip and take it to go because I'll have room later! The yuzu tart was the best I've had in some time. Bright fresh citrus on a shortbread crust. Topped with cream and fresh mint. We had a lovely time catching up and sharing a delicious meal together.

Great food and good service in an uncomfortable warehouse. Come here for the food - each of our dishes was packed with flavor. Started off with seasonal burrata, paired with delicious nectarine and mild tomato with killer sourdough bread 5/5. Cauliflower was cooked perfectly, sauce was slightly too acidic and only partially cut with sweet apricot and fatty cashew, we still finished the plate 4/5. Carrot was cooked soft and paired with feta, the elevation came from bacon fat seasoning, 5/5. Pasta itself was slightly under salted but fresh and delicious, the sauce was simple and salty enough to compensate, 5/5. Flank steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, good seasoning but it's a tough cut and stuck in my teeth so beware ordering in polite company! Paired perfectly with blistered broccolini 5/5. Drinks were also great, unique oil and vinegar themed drink was funky and flavorful. The downside of the experience was the setting - very loud with no soft finishes/ noise dampening. No frills down to old walls that need refinishing, cheap LVP and wood bench with no cushions. Overall don't expect the setting to impress.

Everything about scouts was wonderful. I highly recommend making a reservation as they were very busy! Service was exceptional though; our group was accommodated seemingly effortlessly. The servers were also easily and confidently able to tell me which of the dishes were not compatible dietary restrictions and I really appreciated that. We got family style; we tried the potato's, carrots, and cauliflower - my favorite of those were the potatoes but all were phenomenal. The sardi pasta was my favorite pasta I tried. The hummus was great too. But the chicken was really something else. All the food was prepared fresh and sourced from local ingredients, and you could definitely tell. The dining experience was elegant and upscale; all the spaces in the restaurant are very clean and well thought out. I really enjoyed my dining at Scouts and I cannot wait to go back!!

Just went to this restaurant yesterday evening with a friend and had the best time! We got seated by the window (we made reservations- highly recommend). Our service was impeccable- spaced out the timing of the plates appropriately. The food itself was delicious- would recommend everything but would highlight the melon salad, octopus and ziti! The decor is classy and tasteful and the restaurant is beautiful. Can't wait to come back!

We had a fantastic dining experience at Scout's! I made reservations a couple of weeks ahead of time since the place is quite popular. When we got there, we were seated immediately in the dining room. They do have a lounge area by the bar with some comfortable seating arranged for socializing. Our waitress came shortly to take our drink orders. We ordered our beverages which came quickly. I had a light Tuscan red wine and my husband had a cocktail. We started with some carbonara arancini - bacon, parmesan, black pepper and egg yolk. Delicious and great serving size. We also ordered the roasted cauliflower with curry yogurt, raisins, cashews, mint, and ginger. Perfect flavor and the cauliflower was prepared just right. For my entrée, I had the chitarra (pancetta, shallot, lemon, asparagus, sweet peas and white wine) and my husband had the radiatori (red pepper bolognese, ricotta, black pepper). Their menu said they make their pasta in-house so we had to try them. We were not disappointed. The pasta dishes we ordered were both delicious and very flavorful. For dessert, I ordered the Dubai chocolate cannoli. Instead of the traditional pastry dough, they used kataifi which is shredded phyllo resembling vermicelli noodles, stuffed with ricotta and pistachio, edges dipped in Dubai chocolate and more chocolate drizzled all over the cannoli. It was a delicious spin to the cannoli. I would absolutely get it again. Delicious food, wonderful service, no complaints from me. I cannot wait to come back. If you haven't been yet, you need to try Scout's!

Visiting St. Louis and our friends took us here for their first time too. Coming from the Chicago dining scene my standards were met! The place belongs in the Chicago dining scene and I wish it was here! We were seated in the very front and I loved the 'dining room' set up especially if you are on a double date night! It allowed us to have a great conversation as if we were dining at home and it made sharing all the dishes easier! We absolutely loved every dish we ordered and we just went with the server's suggestions. This spot is definitely a must for a date night.

Man Oh Man. I would have skipped over this one if I knew how loud it was going to be. Unfortunately I could not even enjoy my fun date night because I could barely talk to my partner about the week. He was so obsessed with the noise that he downloaded a decibel meter on his app and out table was at 90 decibels. There are several small things a restaurant can do to help with this situation and they have done none of them. Service was very good, 0 complaints. Food, we got the sweet & sour meatballs, roasted cauliflower, and we split the gnocchi entree. Both of our small plates had raisins in it which I did think was funny. The meatball plate was my favorite of the three. The roaster cauliflower had a delightful sauce underneath and the veggie had a great color to it, added mint and dill, I enjoyed all the flavors together. The gnocchi was dry and not very saucy, which is not what I was I expecting but they had a good flavor. We probably won't be back though.

Awesome first time at Scout's! Standouts were the service, chopped salad, and pastas! Great ambiance and cool vibe inside. Will definitely be back soon!

Came here for the first time with husband and friend we loved the restaurants vibe! Staff was amazing and appeared to work together seamlessly. We tried a variety of the apps and each got a main dish- we finished off with the carrot cake, which had a unique spin, was light and fluffy.

The food at Scout's is SO freaking good! Also excellent service and cocktails. The smoked old fashion is perfection. We got the meatballs, sourdough with burrata, hummus, Caesar salad and two of the pastas. This is one of those restaurants where everything is good and you can't go wrong with what you order so it's hard to pick a favorite menu item.

Dinner with my husband last weekend. I made sure to have a reservation. We were seated pretty quickly when we got there. The menu was a decent size, not too big or too small. Decided we wanted to try a bunch of different things so we ordered a bunch of food to share. Started with the carbonara arancini and the chopped salad. Arancini was delicious and had great flavor. Salad was a good size and well balanced. We then got 2 small pastas to share, the gnocchi and the radiatori. I will say the radiatori was def my fav dish and was a very unique shape. We rounded out our meal with the salmon, which was a crispy outside and was delicious! The food was amazing and all came out warm. Ambiance was nice. It looked a lot smaller on the outside than it was inside. Was happy I got a table because the couch seats didn't look ideal for eating. I will def come back specially for the radiatori.

While some of the drinks were much stronger than I'm used to, as your girl really only likes the fruity girly drinks, this was such a fun time trying so many new things and I wouldn't give it up for anything. My friends that were a little bit more accustomed to different alcohols loved all of the drinks, especially the Mezcal and sweet corn one! My favorite personally was the Ube, espresso, and Matcha beverage that came with dessert. My favorite meal has to be a tie between the steak, which melted in our mouths, and the cavatelli, which had beef cheek and a Bolognese sauce. The Erie vibe of this with the long table, and so many candles was absolutely stunning, and the staff were absolutely amazing, and even dressed up to fit the vibe! While I will say, this dinner did take a long time, we were also the first group to try it so they were working out their kinks. We got there around 6 PM and didn't leave until a little bit after 11. So, while this is a wonderful experience, I will say, if you are trying to get in and get out, save this for a different time. I definitely think that this is worth trying, though, and I would hurry up and book your reservation before they all fill up for this month!

Unfortunately despite the establishment having a tasting menu and using culinary language, the food was a hodgepodge of elements that worked and elements that did not. The menu had printed that the 5 course tasting menu was only for parties of 6 or less. We inquired knowing it may not be able to happen since we had 7, but it was worth a try since it was just one more person. The waitress said she would have to ask the chef to see if he could do 7 instead of 6..... she came back to inform us that the chef was not able to accommodate this request. Ok, fine. A rule is a rule, but there were only 3 other tables in there the entire time we dined. I love music and a good vibe but the music was so loud over our table we could hardly hear each other speak. (90s Cranberries at that).... The cocktails and apps were the only good part of the meal, but $25 for one cocktail is a stretch unless I'm in Vegas or St. Barths. All of our main entrees were overly salted- like so salty we all commented how salty each of ours was. I had the pasta. Good flavor and creamy but too salty. No decaf coffee. I've never been to a fine dining restaurant that doesn't have decaf for an after dinner drink. Strange. Then it was time to pay. There was a noted 3% credit card fee. We paid with cash. The waitress attempted to say she didn't think she would have change because "there was no one working that had to cash to break our bills." Really? No one has cash at a restaurant? Must be next door with the decaf coffee and dinner music. The cherry on top that leads me to write a negative review (I am in my 40s and can never recall leaving a negative ereciew) The friend that made the reservation just found a $200 charge to her credit card from this joke of a restaurant. Ends up they charge the card you make your reservation with $25 per person and supposedly take this amount off the bill when you pay... we paid with cash and then they still charge the card. I'm well aware hardly anyone pays with cash anymore, but people still do. Be ready. Everything about this place screams closing in 18 months, poor quality control in the kitchen and no owner/management oversight.

Upon first glance, you'll notice the hanging lights above the entrance and then after a few feet, the bar is immediately to the right. The tables are all along the left side as to make a walkway for the bar (super convenient). Due it being their anniversary, it was a bit crowded but not too bad where you couldn't get a drink or walk through. My usual go-to is a flavored vodka (three olives grape) and sprite. While they had a plethora of spirits, sadly this wasn't one of them. They had other flavored vodkas but I opted to get a simple Cosmo while my friend got a makers and coke. The Cosmo was just what I needed and might I add, well made! After we got our drinks, we did a quick walk through of the other side called The Oddities (coming soon), as well as the upstairs that overlooks the entire place. The stairs are steep, so it would behoove you to hold on to the railing. While I love trying new places, I was a bit apprehensive because I thought I'd stick out like a sore thumb. Turns out, everyone was friendly, the drinks are great, and the music wasn't bad! They had different acts going on for this particular evening (I'm not sure if this is the norm), but I know my friend is a regular on Tuesday's for karaoke. I do intend to come back and try out some more drinks and food and check out the other place once it officially opens.
