Posted Aug 5, 2024: BUYER BEWARE! I hired Scott to clean about 1,700 sq ft of tile in my Oceanside home. He quoted a reasonable price and his reviews were very positive, so I booked him. We scheduled for Friday, Aug 2, 2024. Scott showed up nearly 1.5 hours after he said he would, which should have been my first cue to be suspect of him. He used my garden hose throughout the job despite saying earlier that his van was entirely self-sufficient, and nothing would be required from me. After 4 hours of "work" he left my tile floor sopping wet, and he did not contact me when he was done so I could return home. I intentionally took my pets offsite at his instruction due to the chemicals. I came and went from the house a couple times during the job, and I learned some things later from my exterior surveillance: Scott was drinking alcohol on the job and dumped an XL beer can in my trash bin. In retrospect, this explains why Scott frequently went to the front driver side of his van and leaned in to do something, why he was going shirtless when I was not present, why his speech was slow and slurred, and why his gait was odd. When my floors finally dried by Saturday morning, they were COVERED in visible residue and streaks throughout the house....looked filthy!! I texted and called Scott....no answer.....crickets. On Sunday morning, Scott called me prior to 8am (I wasn't awake yet); he left no message, and then he texted me saying he "may need to come back on Monday." Absolutely not!!! Scott was drunk on the job and left my floors a mess. I called and texted him back asking for a substantive discount given the mess he left behind--again, no response. He did a shoddy job on the floors, got caught being drunk on the job, and is unwilling to right the situation. My advice: Save yourself the money & hassle, and steer clear of Scott's Ultra Clean. read more

Scott was scheduled to clean my carpets. He asked for payment in full. I paid him half because he said he needed cleaner. Later that day, he texted me his hose broke and he re-scheduled. The day of the next appointment, he called to let me know he stayed up too late and would come another time. The next time he did not show or call. I have requested my $400 deposit be refunded and he has failed to respond. Be very careful hiring Scott. read more

Highly recommend. I have dogs, cats, kids and he managed to make beautifully clean carpets!

Scott did a wonderful job on my white carpet! My carpet did not look like it needed cleaning but it most definitely did in some high traffic areas. I wanted the carpets cleaned because of I have new couches coming and knew that it would need a freshen up. There was a old stain from the recliner mechanism that a previous cleaner could not get out but Scott and his helper Josh were able to get it out completely. I was so thrilled! They also brought the pile of the carpet up from where the old furniture had been sitting which also surprised me. They also took care to put guards around the walls and doors so they would not leave scuff marks. I would 100% recommend and use Scott again. Thank you for such a wonderful job! read more

Twice I've used Scott's Ultra Clean and I couldn't be happier. We have a small church in the heart of Fallbrook. Scott's expertly cleaned some really dirty carpets. Stains out, traffic pattern removed. Also, I'm a retired flooring installer of nearly 40 years, turned pastor. The work ethic and results are much appreciated by this licensed contractor who appreciates good work, and will only post a response like this if he is truly impressed. Thanks Scott's! This is a company to hire if you want your carpets cleaned right. Brad Griswold - pastor at The Place in Fallbrook read more

A couple months after I had my carpets cleaned my children spilled a whole gallon of paint on my master bedroom carpet and I called Scott and he came out the same day, you can't even see where they spilled the paint! So very thankful for Scott! read more

I had Scott come and give me an estimate to do my carpets and tile floors and Scott and Josh came an did an excellent job! They were in an out in 2 hours. I had move things off the tables and move some smaller items out of the rooms they were doing so that it would be less chance for slow down or accidents that could happen. The grout looks great as Jason hand scrub using a long handle tool. The carpet looks fantastic and is 12 years old but looks brand new now. I am happy with the work they did and very professional. I would recommend them as they use soft water from their truck. Great job! read more

I needed to have a room cleaned so a family member could move in, so I wanted the carpet cleaned for them. After calling Scott and setting up an appointment, he showed up on time and we discussed what needed to be done. The quote for the job was less than I expected, so I asked how much to do the rest of the rooms and hallways. I told him to do it all and now my carpets are clean and smell great. The service was great, the price was fair, and I will be using Scott in the future because he also does tile and flooring cleaning. Thanks, Scott! read more

I've just used Scott's Ultra Clean carpet service and I'm extremely impressed. They derserve more than 5 stares- and U've used all types of carpet cleaners. They drove to my location outside if their normal area due to a referral from a cleaning company they work with. I've just finished a bathroom remodel that left my house destroyed. They were timely, used corner protectors, cleaned carpets and all upholstery, moved all furniture as well as placed plastic squares under furniture legs. They spent 2 hours here. I clean my carpets every 6-8 months. The amount of time the 2 men spent let me know how thorough they were. Most companies are gone in 1 hour or less! The best thing is that my carpets aren't soaked w/ water. Great extraction job! I will use nobody else in the future. Great job, Scott and Josh!! read more

Quick, on time, personable, and did a great job! I'll recommend Scotts services to anyone and definitely use him in the future.

Scott did an amazing job cleaning my carpets last week. I had an almost year old stain from a real strawberry milkshake that Scott was able to remove and a juice stain that the previous carpet cleaner was unable to remove. I own a professional in home service company and have high standards, after the last 2 guys I really wanted to find the one. I put off carpet cleaning for a while because I wanted to make sure I found the right company. Today I can say Scott's Ultra Clean is my official carpet cleaner. I will be using him regularly and recommend him to anyone who wants clean carpet. I was also really impressed with these plastic corner guards they used to make sure their hoses don't scuff up your walls. The carpet dried relatively quickly in several hours. (It took 2 full days after the last guy) and none of the stains reappeared after drying. read more

Scott's Ultra Clean is the very best! I have been doing business with them for several years now and have never been less than amazed at the work they do. They take pride in their work, take the time to do it right, and go over spots that need extra attention over and over and over if needed. They have taken off-white carpet that is stained black and made it look like new again-time after time! They have gotten pet stains out the first time after numerous other carpet cleaning companies could not get the same stains out. They have done upholstery cleaning, steam-cleaned and sealed my travertine floors, and of course my carpets, and I recommend them constantly to all my friends. They also have very reasonable prices. read more

Both Scott and his employee were polite and professional. His final price was competitive, it was less than two quotes and on par with one. Scott uses truck mounted hot water extraction, which is one of the best methods for cleaning. read more
