They responded to me within an hour or so stating that they could do the work, and gave me several appoint times. Naturally I chose an appointment time for that day. Because the appointment time was approaching I confirmed with them online, and drove from Bear Valley where I live to Arnold. When I got to their store, it was dark and empty. I tried to call, but no answer. Nobody home. I returned to Bear Valley and hours later received an email from BV Bikes that the appointment times they sent me were not really for 'today' because they were closed on that day ((who knew?!). Nice to learn AFTER I'd already made the 1 hr. round trip. But what was most irritating was their complete lack of acknowledgement of having sent me bogus appointment times, and zero empathy for the inconvenience that caused me. The UPSIDE was I learned we have a bike shop in ACTUAL Bear Valley thru the Adventure Company where I took the 2 bikes and received incredible care and craftsmanship at about half the price. So if you are thinking about having Bear Valley Bikes of Arnold work on your bikes, think about coming up the hill another 30 min, to ACTUAL Bear Valley Bikes in Bear Valley, and be treated right!

When I picked up my motorcycle from Chad my seat was gone, the speakers from my saddlebags bags are gone and my gas guage is no longer working front Chad draining the tank. Chad left all the covers off of my engine leaving layers of dust and dog hair in my motor.When I pick my motorcycle up Chad put the covers on without cleaning them leaving the dog hair for the next mechanic to deal with. I had a 4.0L Jeep block and head done over the summer. Rich was super helpful making suggestions as…read moreto necessary work without pushing the unnecessary. The head work was solid with all new valves and passed a leak down test before installation. The block machine work was superb as the hone was done to tolerance on the piston and ring kit I purchased. Rich tanked and blasted the block for a slight extra charge but worth the money. The jeep is back on the ground and the first 500 miles are in w/o any issues. Lots more power than before the rebuild.
